This study aims to determine the influence of leadership and motivation on employee performance. The sample in this research is taken by using data method called purposive sampling. The number of samples used are 85 respondents. The data obtained were analyzed using PLS (Partial Least Square) analysis technique through SmartPLS software. In addition, for the second and third hypothesis experiments a Sobel test was performed for the intervening intervo variable operation in the hypothesis. The results showed a direct and positive relationship to motivation. Furthermore, leadership has a positive effect on employee performance. Then the other results show. The results of this study also show a positive leadership towards employee performance through motivation at the Office of the Secretariat of Southeast Sulawesi Province.
