<![CDATA[Abstract: This study aims to provide reinforcement in learning local content of arts and culture based on the local genius of Sasak culture and to improve cultural literacy in learning local content. The type of research used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Sources of data in this study were students of PGSD University of Mataram and lecturers of local content subjects. Data collection in research has been carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validity techniques used in this study include an extension of observations, increasing persistence, triangulation, holding member checks. Data analysis used the Milles and Huberman model consisting of data reduction, data presentation/data display, and conclusion verification. The results of the study concluded that the strengthening of local cultural content learning based on the local genius of Sasak culture was carried out through providing an understanding of the meaning of a culture, not just a concept, besides implementing the value of local wisdom in learning activities, then providing a comprehensive understanding by presenting learning videos from the cultural practitioner. Furthermore, related to cultural literacy in local content learning is carried out through inserting in the learning of research results related to material that can foster curiosity from students, and students go directly to finding information about culture to the main source.]]>
