<![CDATA[Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a degenerative disease characterized by an increase in blood glucose levels above the normal threshold with clinical manifestations in the form of polyphagia, polydipsia and polyuria. Diabetes mellitus (DM) is currently one of the global health threats. This research aim to determine the Evaluation of Antidiabetic Drug Use in Diabetes Patients with Hypertension Complications at Syarif Hidayatullah Hospital in 2022. This research using descriptive retrospective. Data collection using the total sampling technique method with a sample size of 91 patients in 2022 at Syarif Hidayatullah Hospital. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the most age is 46-65 years old as many as 64 patients (70%). Patient characteristics based on gender are mostly female with 46 patients (51%). The use of the most drugs is metformin group with biguanid group as many as 12 patients (13%). The percentage of rationality includes the right diagnosis (100%), the right indication (100%), the right drug (100%), the right dose (95%), the right method of administration (89%), the right time interval for administration (95%), the right duration of administration (95%), the right patient (100%). Potential drug interactions were 31 patients (34%) who had potential drug interactions. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the evaluation of drug use at Syarif Hidayatullah Hospital is rational.Abstrak Diabetes mellitus (DM) saat ini menjadi salah satu ancaman kesehatan global. Prevalensi pasien DM terbesar adalah DM dengan komplikasi Hipertensi, Lebih dari 50% penderita DM tipe 2 mengalami hipertensi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Evaluasi Penggunaan Obat Antidiabetes Pada Pasien Diabetes Komplikasi Hipertensi di Rumah Sakit Syarif Hidayatullah tahun 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif secara retrospektif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode teknik total sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 91 pasien pada tahun 2022 di Rumah Sakit Syarif Hidayatullah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan usia terbanyak yaitu 46-65 tahun sebanyak 64 pasien (70%). Karakteristik pasien berdasarkan jeis kelamin terbanyak yaitu perempuan dengan jumlah 46 pasien (51%). Penggunaan obat terbanyak yaitu golongan metformin dengan golongan biguanid sebanyak 12 pasien (13%). Persentase kerasionalan meliputi tepat dignosis (100%), tepat indikasi (100%), tepat obat (100%), tepat dosis (95%), tepat cara pemberian (89%), tepat interval waktu pemberian (95%), tepat lama pemberian (95%), tepat pasien (100%). Potensi interaksi obat sebanyak 31 pasien (34%) yang memiliki potensi interaksi obat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, dapat diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa evaluasi penggunaan obat di RS Syarif Hidayatullah sudah rasional.]]>
