<![CDATA[The problem in this research was less maximal application of model and learning media and low learning outcomes of sains student in grade V SD Negeri 4 West Metro. Type of research was experiment with non-equivalent control group design. The population in this research to 48 students. The sample was determined using purposive sampling with 24 students. After through the technique of collecting data in the form of test and non test technique and also technique of data analysis, the result showed there was a positive and significant influence on the application of discovery model using realia media to learning outcomes of sains, this is indicated by the result of hypothesis testing using t-test pooled varians obtained data tcount 2,340 ttable 2,021 (with α = 0,05). Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah kurang maksimalnya penerapan model dan media pembelajaran serta rendahnya hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V SD Negeri 4 Metro Barat. Jenis penelitian adalah eksperimen dengan non-equivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian sebanyak 48 orang siswa sedangkan sampel penelitian menggunakan sampling purposive dengan jumlah 24 orang siswa. Setelah melalui teknik pengumpulan data berupa teknik tes dan non tes serta teknik analisis data, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan pada penerapan model discovery learning dengan menggunakan media realia terhadap hasil belajar IPA, hal ini ditunjukkan dengan hasil pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji statistik t-test pooled varians diperoleh data thitung 2,340 ttabel 2,021 (dengan α = 0,05).
