Meanwhile, 38 respondents who used non-hormonal contraception at least experienced an abnormal menstrual cycle as many as 6 respondents (15,8%). The Chi-Square test showed that there was a significant relationship between the use of contraceptives and menstrual cycle disorders in couples of childbearing age, namely p = 0,000 < α = 0,05 with OR value of 16,762. There is a significant relationship between the use of contraceptives and menstrual cycle disorders at Puskesmas Piyungan Sub-district, Bantul Yogyakarta.

Data based on the results of Riskesdas 2018 the prevalence of stroke is 10.9% and 15.4% of stroke case caused Indonesia. The province with the 3rd highest incidence is South Kalimantan at 12.7% per mil. Hypertriglyceridemia and hypercholesterolemia are risk factors for ischemic stroke. Low triglyceride and total cholesterol levels contribute to intracerebral haemorrhage. This study to analyse the relationship of laboratory results triglycerides and total cholesterol to mortality in stroke patients. Method: Study are used literature review, searching online journals and sources from databases. Using keywords, namely stroke mortality, total cholesterol, and triglycerides. Results of the literature review, it was found that there were 18 journals were analysed that triglycerides and total cholesterol predictors of prognosis and mortality in stroke patients. Range of values affect is high triglyceride levels > 200 mg/dL and high total cholesterol levels >160-240 mg/dL affect the formation of atherosclerosis effect on blood vessel blockage occurs in ischemic stroke patients. Low triglyceride levels <150 mg/dL and low cholesterol <120-180 mg/dL causes malnutrition which can worse in stroke patients. Low levels of triglycerides and cholesterol effect on the integrity of cell membranes and resistance to rupture, resulting in prolonged bleeding. From this analysis it can be concluded that high or low levels of triglycerides and total cholesterol had effect on prognosis and mortality in stroke patients based on the pathophysiology that occurs.

Abstract

Uncontrolled uric acid in the blood can lead to hyperuricemia. Symptoms that arise are pain, swollen, inflamed, hot and stiff joints so that the sufferer cannot carry out activities as usual. The morbidity rate of patients at 34 years is 32% and aged over 34 years is 68%. To suppress the symptoms of hyperuricemia, treatment can be done by removing static blood containing toxins from the human body. Research Objectives To determine the effect of wet cupping (al-hijamah) on reducing uric acid levels in the blood. The method in this research is using the PICOS framework, Population/ Problem (P), Intervention (I), Comparison (C), Results (O), Study Design (S). The initial stage of selecting articles with the keywords "uric acid" and "cupping" was found in 1627 journals. A total of 312 data did not match the title, and as many as 32 data did not match the problem formulation and objectives. So that obtained 8 journals in accordance with the inclusion criteria of the study. Search literature through Google Scholar database, Springer Link, Science direct. Abstract

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), hyperemesis gravidarum occurs throughout the world, including the countries of the Americas with varying incidence rates ranging from 0.5-2%, 0.3% in Sweden, 0.5% in California, 0.8% in Canada, 10.8% in China, 0.9% in Norway, 2.2% in Pakistan and 1.9% in Turkey. Meanwhile, the incidence of hyperemesis gravidarum in Indonesia ranges from 1-3% of all pregnancies. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of giving warm ginger to the frequency of Emesis gravidarum in first trimester pregnant women. The type of research used was quantitative research with Pre-Experimental research design using One Group Pretest-Posttest design. The population in this study were all first trimester pregnant women who experienced emesis gravidarum who had their pregnancy checked at BPM Happy Purnama. Sampling in this study used a total sampling technique with a sample of 16 people. Data collection was obtained by using the Pregnancy Unique Quantification of Emesis questionnaire. The statistical results of the study obtained a p-value of 0.002, which means it is smaller than the significant value, which is <0.05, so it can be concluded that giving warm ginger is effective in reducing the frequency of emesis gravidarum. This study is also expected to be an alternative non-pharmacological treatment of emesis gravidarum in first trimester pregnant women.

Abstract

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever is a major global problem because 2.5 to 3 billion people are at risk of developing this disease, Aedes Aegypti is the main epidemic vector, a disease that usually affects urban areas, but has begun to attack rural areas, an estimated 50-100 million cases per year. The only program to control the transmission of dengue virus is to fight mosquitoes as dengue vectors. One of the most popular methods is the use of insecticides. The use of insecticides for a certain period of time will cause vector resistance, so it must be used wisely. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of mosquito killers as an alternative to controlling Aedes Aegypti mosquitoes in the working area of the Sindang Barang Health Center. This type of research is an experimental method with a pretest-posttest design, the treatment given is exposure to a mosquito killer device which is divided into 2 groups with different placement hours. The study was conducted in the Sindang Barang Health Center Work Area in August-September 2022 in an area that has the highest incidence of dengue cases, the mosquito killer is placed in a humid and dark corner of the room. The results of the pretest-posttest data on mosquito density obtained a significance value of 0.053, which means that the use of mosquito killers is not effective for controlling Aedes Aegypti mosquitoes.

Abstract

Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19) is a condition that causes illness and death. As of 25 October 2022, it was stated that there were 6.472.664 total confirmed cases and 158.454 deaths in Indonesia. Pregnant women are a high-risk population for Covid-19 infection. But, a pregnant woman might be hesitant to attend a health center to monitor her pregnancy for fear of contracting Covid-19. This problem decreased the number of pregnant women in Indonesia who visited health services. This research study aims to examine the anxiety issues experienced by pregnant women during the Covid-19 pandemic. This article's methodology is based on an exhaustive search of numerous databases, including PubMed, Scopus, Google Scholar, and the official website. Articles are chosen based on criteria like free full text, open access, and publication date beyond 2020. The systematic search produced a total of 1238 articles, with 9 articles meeting the inclusion criteria. This research study concludes that pregnant women constitute a high-risk population during the Covid-19 pandemic. Pregnant women were known to feel anxiety in the majority. These psychiatric diseases offer risks to the fetus, including prenatal development impairment, early delivery, and low birth weight. Pregnant women require social assistance to lessen their fear during the Covid-19 pandemic and to increase their compliance with Ante Natal Care in an effort to discover pregnancy issues early, so that mothers and infants may be anticipated to be healthy and safe.
