Abstract

Abstract : Purpose of this research is to discribe the proses of learning alternative through discovery learning model to improve the activity and results of learning mathematics subjests.This research is class action research (PTK). Subjects in this research were the fourth grade students of SD Muhammadiyah Sambisari Yogyakarta academik year 2016/2017 which amountes 28 students. While the object of this research is the activity and results of learning mathematics obtained from the aplication of discovery learning model. The result of this research showed that the activeness and the results of learning mathematic using discovery learning model has increased. This is shown based on the results of data analysis on pre cycle student’s activity in classical is 27%. In the cycle I increased to 53%. In the cycle II the student’s activity increased to 79,6%. Students learning results show an increase from pre cycle,cycle I, and cycle II. In the pre cycle 36% of students  reach KKM. In the cycle I has increased to 57% of students reach KKM. In the cycle II has increased to 78,57% of students reach KKM. Based on the above research results can be concluded that the aplication discovery kearning model can improve the activity and students learning results of fourth grades students of SD Muhammadiyah Sambisari Yogyakarta.

Abstract

Abstract : Creation Dance is a cultivation of new dance work made in accordance with the needs of the consumption of the audience and is the result of creative ideas of the choreographer, especially in this study, the created creations dance is the result of the learning of dance art in the PGSD class that is devoted for children with mild mental retardation at SLB Pembina Yogyakarta. This study describes the learning of Creation Dance of Mild Mental Retardation Children through The Imitative Process, This type of research is qualitative descriptive that describes the process of  children creation dance. The data of this research is from the learning of children dance creation through imitative method. According to Sutjihati Somantri, children with mental retardation are children who have below average intellectual ability, whereas children with mild mental reatardation are children who can still do simple work and do it in full. Through this research, it is expected that children with mild mental reatardation can learn creation dance by imitation or imitative method. The source of research data comes from events, places, and behaviors associated with the study. The resource persons are teachers and students with mild mental retardation in SLB Pembina Yogyakarta.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of the research is to describe the learning process by using the method of learning Index Card Match to increase interest and achievement of learning Mathematics at third grade students of SD N Wirokerten in the academic year 2016/2017. Subject of this research is third grade students of SD N Wirokerten, consist of 38 students. The data collecting technique are observation and test. The result of this research showed that interest and achievement of learning Mathematics using method of learning Index Card Match has improved. This is proven based of the results of data analysis on pre cycle student’s interest is 40,52%. In the cycle I increased to 57,37%. In the cycle II increased to 81,57%. In the pre cycle average score of the students results is 59,29 or as many 34,21% of students who reach KKM. In the cycle I has increased with an average score of the students results is 64,59 or as many 47,37% of students who reach KKM. In the cycle II has increased with an average score of the students results is 81,14 or as many 73,68% of students who reach KKM. The conclusion of the research is applying the method of learning Index Card Match can improve interest and achievement of learning Mathematics at third grade students of SD N Wirokerten in the academic year 2016/2017.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to (1) examine the effectiveness of the story to name character education which is focused on the value of devotion of worship, honesty, responsibility, and caring (2) to test the effectiveness of the story to improve cognitive learning outcomes in social studies. This research is a quasi experimental research with pre-test and post-test control group design. The independent variable in this research is the social studies learning method by reading the story. The dependent variable is the result of social studies learning and character values. The moderator variable is the personality type (introvert and extrovert). This research was conducted in class V SDN Nanggulan I Kulonprogo as experimental group and class V SDN Jatisarono Kulonprogo as control group. The subjects of this study were all students obtained by test and non-test. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics with MANOVA (Multivariate Analysis of Variance) at 95% significance level (p = 0,05). The results showed that  there were significant differences in social studies learning outcomes and student character values between the experimental class and control class. In the experimental class, social studies score increased by 2.94 (11.53%), 1.88 (5.66%), honesty 1.19 (5.66%), responsibility 3,57 (9.83%), concern for 1.58 (9.55%). In the control class, the score of social studies learning achievement was 0.95 (3.75%), 0.09 (0.34%) observance, honesty 2.39 (12.38%), responsibility 0.09 (0, 25%), concern 0.09 (0.55%). From the comparison, it can be concluded that the increase of IPS learning result score and student character values in the experimental class is higher than the control class. In other words, the use of effective stories to improve social studies learning outcomes and character values.

Abstract

Abstract: It is undeniable that The success of a learning process can only be seen through student learning outcomes. Good learning outcomes are assumed to be the result of a good classroom learning process as well. The learning process will be success by the implementation of appropriate method or learning media. This study is a Classroom Action Research using Kemmis and Taggart Model. This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of grade 4 Elementary Students by using songs as a medium of learning. The results obtained that song is an effective learning media to be used in Social Study learning since it can help students in memorizing the learning materials as wells as carrying out active and fun learning.

Abstract

Abstract: This research purpose to describing the effectiveness of learning and skills of intensive reading to the student on grade 3rd in Monggang Bantul Elementary School which uses cooperative learning model of talking stick type compared to lecture method. Model cooperative of a talking stick type is a method of learning who uses a stick (talking stick) as a tool to turn the direction to reveal the content of the reading (intensive reading). The type of this research is a quasi-experiment. Data analysis using a testt with the result tarithmetic (1,557) and p = 0,126 who show there is a significant difference between using a method of talking stick learning with lecture method at learning of intensive reading. Seen from the results of average talking stick method has an average 23,4348 while lecturing method has an average 19,6923, with a model of cooperative learning talking stick type effective uses in learning of reading intensive.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to explore the strategy of integrating the environment in shaping the character of environmental care in the Bhayangkara Elementary School. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. Techniques of collecting data using interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis uses data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Validity checks data using source triangulation, technique, and time. The results showed that teachers in planning learning include habituation, exemplary and learning while doing. The steps taken by the teacher include: using learning media and environment as a place of learning. Teachers in conducting assessments focus more on affective judgments. Supporting factors such as the performance of teachers, principals and gardeners in guiding students and the existence of learning media that allows students to understand the value of environmental care. Inhibiting factors such as lack of learning time and family role in instilling environmental caring value.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain a picture of the proccess planting values Ketamansiswaan trought school culture at SD Taman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan Yogyakarta. This study a qualitative research study used to examine the condition of natural object. The subjects of this study consisted of one principal, one teacher of karawitan and tembang, one teacher  of dance and dolanan anak, five classroom teacher and three student representing classes four and five. The data obtained are teseted its validity by increasing persistence, triangulation, and  using reference material. The result showed that in SD Taman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan Tamansiswa Yogyakarta.  The proccess of planting values Ketamansiswaan trought school culture at SD Taman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan Yogyakarta are (1) proccess of planting values Ketamansiswaan trought school culture by habituation and include students in the school programs and activities and throught learning, (2) the values of Ketamansiswaan are formed kodrat alam, independence, culture, nationality, and humanity, (3) obstacles facing factors science of tecnology, material, parents, human resources, lack of time, gaps and diversity, the solution by infussing as many cultures as possible, collect HP, includding work shop activities and training Ketamansiswan, meeting with parents of students, varied learning methods, seating position, and learning tailored to the willingness and ability of students.

Abstract

Abstract: This study is based on the problem of children with special needs who have not been able to participate fully in physical education education in Inclusive Elementary School in Yogyakarta City. This is because the gatekeepers have not understood the poultry learning program for children with special needs in the Inclusive Elementary School. Through this research, an adaptive adaptive learning resource book for children with disabilities in Inclusive Elementary School will be developed. It is expected that this instructional book can facilitate teachers in designing learning pemas for children with special needs in Elementary School. The results of research progress reports found data, namely: implementation of learning pemas in 8 elementary schools of education inclusive is not optimal. In learning pemas need to do: 1) planning, 2) process and 3) evaluation of learning tailored to the needs of students with special needs.
