Abstract

This study aims to: (1) Developing learning media based on adobe flash cs3 professional in science teaching based on integration of Islam-science in SD/MI class 5, and (2) Know the media feasibility of the development of adobe flash based learning media cs3 professional in science-based learning integration of Islam-science in SD/MI class 5 as a medium of learning. The type of research used is Research and Development. The design of this research refers to the ADDIE development model which includes 5 stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. Instruments used to collect data in this study are the assessment sheet for material experts and media experts. Based on the result of research, it can be concluded that: (1) It has successfully developed adobe flash-based learning media cs3 professional in science-based learning integration of Islam in SD/MI 5th grade using the ADDIE development model which includes 5 stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation, (2) Based on the assessment of material expert is Very Good (VG) with average score 65 and based on media expert’s appraisal is Good (G) with score 55 then learning media based adobe flash cs3 professional in science learning based on islamscience integration in SD/MI grade 5 is suitable for learning media.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to improve the comprehension of using the model learning word square on the subject Civic Education third grade students State Elementary School Tanjungharjo. This research use class action research (PTK). The subject of the research was third class student, while its object was comprehension of concept Civic Education. The data gained of this research from observation result, test and documentation. The research result show, model learning word square can increase comprehension of concept Civic Education. It shows an increased outcomes pre-action around 66,80, on the first cycle increased to 72,88 and the second cycle increased to 80,57. The number of students have reached on pre-action as many as 11 students or 42,30%. First cycle increased to 15 students or 57,69%. At second cycle increasing significantly to 21 of the 26 students or 80,76%. The research result show that the use of learning word square can increase comprehension of concept Civic Education on the students State Elementary School Tanjungharjo, Nanggulan, Kulon Progo.

Abstract

Abstract:This study aims to: a) determine the distribution of student learning styles of PGSD UAD, b) determine the dominant learning styles is owned by Students PGSD UAD, c) Know the learning style that is owned by student (single or multiple). The study applied a quantitative approach specificaly survey. The data were collected through a questionnaire. The study popullation was all student PGSD UAD academic year 2013/2014. The data were descriptively analyzed. The results of the study are as follows. (1) 81% of studentshave asociallearningstyle, 51% of students have a visual and verbal leraning style, 48% of student have a solitary learning style, 47% student have a physical learning style, and 40% of student have a auditory learning style. (2) Social learning style is a type of learning style most commonly owned by students PGSD UAD. Auditory learning style is a style of learning that is at least owned by students PGSD UAD. (3) None of the students who only have one learning style. Keywords: leraning styles, memletics learning styles, learning modality.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve the comprehension of the “Pemerintahan Desa dan Kecamatan” using learning methods Concept Mapping fourth grade students of State Elementary School Genengsari 1. This research uses class action research that is held in two cycle. The data was gained from observation result, interview and test. The research result show, Concept Mapping method can increase comprehension of concept Civic Education. It looks of enhancement comprehension of student Civic Education concept that has reached KKM 70. At the first cycle, there is an improvement that is from pre-action around 19% or 5 students become 58% or 15 students at the end of first cycle. At the second cycle also has improvement that is from 58% or 15 students at the first cycle become 96,2% or 25 students at the end of second cycle. Therefore could be said that this class action research is successful to increase the comprehension of Civic Education concept fourth grade students of State Elementary School Genengsari 1 because has meet the successfully criteria that specified with shown 80% of the number of students have reached Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM).

Abstract

This research did in Elementary School 1 Trirenggo by using qualitative metode. This research had done using interview technique, observation, and documentation. The subject of this research were Headmaster of Elementary School 1 Trirenggo, coordinator teacher of traditional dancing extracurricular, and students who followed extracurricular. Researcher did data analysis by collecting data, reduction data, presentating data, and withdrawal of the conclusion. The result of this research were Character Educational Implementation by using Traditional Dancing Extracurricular in Elementary School 1 Trirenggo had made with a habitual, treatment in Traditional Dancing Extracurricular; the students had shown characteristic values when Traditional Dancing Extracurricular, support factors was the brand of school based model culture by proof SK from regent, infrastructure which enough. While obstruction factors were time and focus at one brand at Elementary School 1 Trirenggo.

Abstract

 Abstrak: If we want to learn one language, one should know the target of the vocabulary it’s self. If they have much vocabulary, they will be more skillful in languages. Learning vocabulary at school, it’s better to apply the strategy of the learning. This purpose is in order the students is  understood and interested  in learning vocabulary. One of the learning strategy alternative vocabulary, that is frayer model. Frayer model is one learning strategy that used grafic in the learning proces  . In this case, it will   make students easier to know the concept of a vocabulary.

Abstract

The purpuso of research is to determine : (1) The style of principal leadership in improving the  professional  competence  of  any  that  have  been  formed  on  the  teachers;  (2)  the  professional competence of any that have been formed on the teacher; (3) the principal obstacles and ways to improve  the  professional  competence  of  teachers. This  study  a  descriptivestudy  with  qualitative apporoach.  Data  collection  techniques  using  observation,  interviews,  and  documentation.  Data analysis technique performed with data collection, data reduction, presenting data, and conclusions. The  results  showed  that  (1)  the  principal’s  leadership  style  used  improving  the  professional competence  of  teachers  is  the  style  of  executive  leadership,  development,  democratic,  organizer and administrator; (2) professional competence that has been formed by the teacher is capable of mastering the subject matter in accordance with the field of study that teaches, is able to apply the methodology and learning strategies, capable of designing and utilizing various media and learning resources, is able to carry out the evalution of learning, capable of develop programs of learning, and able to carry out elements of support; (3) barriers experienced principals are the facilities, the age  factor  and  bustle  head  teacher  of  the  school.  How  did  the  head  of  the  school  in  improving the professional competence of teachers is to give more credence to the teachers and training of teachers, PLPG, PPG, and teacher certification.

Abstract

Research to describe the implementation of character education through subjects Ketamansiswaan in elementary student’s Taman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan Tamansiswa Yogyakarta. The study, including research a qualitative. The subjects of this study consists of one headmaster, two teachers Ketamansiswaan, and six student at grade I to grade VI. The data collection this study uses interview, observation and documentation. The data collected were tested the validity of the way the extension of the participation, increased diligance, and triangulation. The data analysis for an interview with the collection of data, the reduction of data, the presentation of data, and the with drawal of the conclusion. The results of research showed that the implementation of character education through the Subject Ketamansiswaan in SD Taman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan Tamansiswa Yogyakarta academic year 2015/2016 is 1) the character education in lerningKetamansiswaan in the public has been implemented. The execution of the implementation of character education in primary school, Taman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan Tamansiswa Yogyakarta is habituation, integration into subjects, there are particular Ketamansiswaan, into the extra, there is also when boarding flash unit. In learning Ketamansiswaan own children are through the song or dolanan the child, 2) values of characters that appear each child is not the same or different with each other, values that includes the value of obedience, decency, neatness, culture and education. As for the characterto come out but has not yet appeared in learning Ketamansiswaan usually occurs in students a hyperactive on super active. In addition depends on the atmosphere or mood, 3) the obstacles that have emerged that many ABK. In fact, ABK can block and it’s hadr to be invited to work together well. The solution to overcome the barriers which are the handle students with special needs teacher should be extra patient. In addition, disseminate the program school to parents with how to use fliers, broadcast to television or radio, or the ceremony we announced to students or parents if any.

Abstract

  This article describes the use of the environment as a natural laboratory in science teaching elementary school. There are many strategies that can be applied in teaching science in elementary schools. One way is to use the environment as a natural laboratory in science teaching in primary school. As the target environment, resource and learning tool can be used as a natural laboratory to practice, demonstrations, experiments, research, and decision science in the process of learning science. By utilizing the environment as a natural laboratory in the process of learning science is expected that students will get information based on direct experience and can learn from the things that are concrete so that students can easily understand the material and learning experienced by students more meaningful.

Abstract

  Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of the students’ skills in telling observations/visits among the fifth grade students of MI Ma'arif Blongkeng by sociodrama. The type of this study was a classroom action research. Data collection techniques used observation and field notes. The research instrument used observation sheets and sheets assessment of telling observation/ visit. Data analysis used quantitative data by finding the mean and percentage. Based on the results of research and discussion that has been conducted in MI Ma'arif Blongkeng can be concluded that the value of students has increased both from pre cycle to cycle I and cycle II. Based on the results of the analysis showed that the average percentage of student activity on pratindakan every aspect of 57.1% with good qualifications. The increasement in the first cycle was 73.8%. In the second cycle increased 86.9% with excellent qualifications. In general, based on observation of student activity guidelines has increased very significantly after the applied methods sociodrama. Skills telling observations/ visits also increased. The imporvement of students’ skills in telling observations/ student visits can be seen from the increasement in the average value of speech assessment indicated by students who do not perform activities that have been carried out, ie at pre cycle was 31.23% to 18.08% in the first cycle, 15% in the second cycle. Thus, it can be interpreted that the students’ skills in communicating observations /visits was increasing in each cycle.
