Abstract

The results of the initial observations indicate that the interaction and creativity of children Group B is still low. Abstract

English has been used as a language of communication since early childhood. These demands make parents vying to include their children to schools that use English as a medium of language in learning. Learning English as a foreign language in Indonesia began to reach the level of early childhood education. Children aged 0-6 years which is a golden age (golden age) and is a critical period in the stage of human life that will determine the development of the next child. All aspects of language use should be introduced to the child before this golden age ends. English on the AUD has begun to be introduced at the kindergarten level. In learning English requires appropriate learning methods to increase interest and desire of students in using English in learning activities that are fun and interested students, both oral and written fluently and in accordance with its social context. This research seeks to gain knowledge about early childhood education related to English language learning in kindergarten education in Sukolilo sub-district of Surabaya city. Data collection techniques were conducted by interviews to obtain verbal information directly. From the total number of 57 kindergartens in Sukolilo sub-district, there are 28 kindergarten that become the research place. From the data obtained, as many as 28 kindergarten who became the subject of research has provided learning English during the learning proces.

Abstract

The Problem of Application of Curriculum 2013 At Early Childhood Education Institution In Bululawang Subdistrict. The curriculum is seen as the heart of an educational program. The curriculum can be viewed as a strategy and means designed to achieve nationally defined educational goals. All educators and managers of the early childhood should understand the framework and structure of curriculum 2013 Early Childhood Education for the implementation of early childhood programs in accordance with the goals set. But at this time there are still many early childhood education institutions that are still not able to apply the 2013 curriculum on learning activities. Seeing that, the researcher is interested to examine the problems of implementing the curriculum of early childhood institutions in kec. Bululawang Kab. Poor. This research uses qualitative research method, this research is conducted for 3 months, the problems are in the beginning starting from planning, implementation and evaluation of curriculum 2013 in PAUD institution. In the district of Bululawang Kab, Malang in the implementation of the lesson is still not much that apply the curriculum K13 due to lack of pemahan about curriculum 2013. In the implementation of the curriculum in 2013 the most important role is educators, the level of creativity of educators will affect the implementation of learning fun for children more creative teachers in conveying materials in the learning process, the easier the learner will receive the material delivered, that's where the success of the implementation of the 2013 curriculum in PAUD institutions.

Abstract

Childhood, especially at an early age is often reffered to as the golden age the sensitive period in receiving various stimulation. Early childhood education for the formal education of kindergarten. However, in reality the conditions are too oriented academic kindergarten education where learning is more emphasis on writing, arithmetic and reading the familiar linear thinking, logical, orderly and convergent, divergent thinking so unaccustomed. Whereas divergent thinking pattern is a pattern of thinking that trying to find alternative thinking (creative) to obtain a wide range of solutions to problems. Creativity takes the child in the process of life, especially in the resolution of difficulties, the discovery of new works or new solutions. Based on the problems that the researchers used storytelling as an intervention method that is used to increase the creativity of children. The subjects were students in kindergarten group B 5-6 years old. Evaluation from of pre-test and post-test tell the story of an image. The difference in scores will be analyzed using statistical techniques paired sample t test.result of statistical analysis, know t =-2,990 and p =0,015, in this case p 0,05 indicates a significant difference that there is an increase in the score before the post-intervention. The average score before intervention was 14,10 and the average score after the intervention was 18,30, so that the increase is 4,20. Thus, we can conclude that storytelling can increase a child’s creativity TK group B.

Abstract

This study aims to produce multimedia products to recognize the concept and symbol of PAUD numbers are feasible to use in the learning process. The feasibility of multimedia learning in terms of material aspects, learning, display and programming with validation of material experts and media experts. In the implementation phase of feasibility in terms of attractiveness, ease of use and clarity assessed by the child. This research method is research and development method of R D with ADDIE learning design model that is (1) Analysis (2) Design (3) Development (4) Implementation (5) Evaluation. The result of the feasibility of multimedia data obtained from the average validation of material experts is 0.90 with the category "very high" and the average media expert validation is 0.94 with the category "very high". The result of implementation in PAUD Mutiara Kasih Kebumen viewed from the aspect of attractiveness, easiness and clarity of multimedia product with the average field test result of each aspect is 93,3% with "very high" category. Based on the results of validation of material experts and media experts and field trials concluded that multimedia learning products using adobe flash CS6 program is feasible to be used in the learning process to know the concept and symbol of the numbers for early childhood.

Abstract

The development ia a change that lasts a lifetime with increasing structure and function of the body is more complex in motion capability rough, smooth motion, speech and language, socialization and independence. Cognitive development is a process of thinking is the ability to link and consider the value of an event or events.cognitive potential is determined at conception but realized or not depends on the environment and the opportunities presented. To determine the understanding of the tools of educational games and to know how the implementation of the application of learning in improving the cognitive aspects through a simple APE developed TK Ihyausunnah Margorejo. This study is a description of using the technique of data collection by interview and observation. The subject is a child aged 2 years later the class teacher and TK A aged 3-4 years. Playing the role would make social capable children. While playing the role come to learn to share, learn to queue or turns and communicate with friends. The ability to manage emotions, including to understand the feelings of fear, upset, sad, angry and jealous. Children will learn to manage and understand those feelings.creativity and discipline, usually the child will take the rules and patterns of daily life and habits of the child or the parents even adults in the child’s immediate environment.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an increase in the ability of teachers to draft the daily activities laden character education through participatory learning methods. Teacher‟s ability to draft the daily activities of the charged character is a teacher who developed the character values of the nation on self-learners.learning methods modified using contextual learning approach to develop character. Revised assessment expressed qualitatively. Participatory learning method is a method of learning which can encourage students to contribute and engage actively and independently in acquiring the knowledge and skill learned. This study used an experimental design with pre-type experiments conducted on the subject of teacher research play group and TK. Reliability analysis shows the value of coefficient alpha 0,267, for the scale of teacher knowledge. While the value of Asymp, Sig (2-tailed) to ability of the teacher of 0,002 it can be concluded Ha acceptable and meaningful participatory learning methods to enhance the knowledge and ability of teachers to draft the daily activities charged character education. The results showed participatory learning methods can improve the ability of teachers in preparing the draft the daily activities charged character education. This is because in a participatory learning of participants involved in the process of preparing draft the daily activities charged character education, as well as the participants were eager and opens to the new knowledge.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the profile of early childhood math skills in learning to think different. The type of this research is explorative research with qualitative approach. This research results will be analyzed by using qualitative analysis. The results showed that the profile picture of early childhood math ability in the group of children with below average ability had similarities with the average group in logical and symbolic thinking ability with the categories evolving as expected. As for the ability to think critically the same, that category began to grow. A group of children with below average skills has problem-solving skills with the category beginning to develop, while the group of children with average ability including the category evolves according to expectations.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the ability to read the beginning through the activities of storytelling with media variations and know the process of improving the ability to read the beginning through the storytelling activities with media variations. The research method used is action research with Kemmis and Taggart model. Research subjects were 16 KB children. This study was conducted in two cycles consisting of eight meetings in a cycle so that there were sixteen meetings. Technique of collecting data is done through observation, interview, and documentation. Data analysis technique used in this research is qualitative and quantitative data analysis. Qualitative data analysis used is data reduction, data display, and verification. Quantitative data analysis is used to find out the percentage of reading ability improvement after the beginning of the implementation of the action using the graph. The result of the research shows that the improvement of the understanding of children's geometry can be seen from the average prasiklus value of 58, the average of cycle I average 77, and cycle II with an average of 90. So it can be concluded that the activities of storytelling with media variations can improve the ability to read the beginning

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the role of parents when accompanying their children while studying at home and find out how the family can motivate children. In this study takes an object of early childhood to the age of about 3-6 years and parents who accompany.Methods used in this activity is the observation and interviews conducted in the village park, Sidoarjo. The results obtained are motivated child begins to increase when parents are able to give attention and learning quantum methods bring an atmosphere of fun for children as encourage learning outside.
