Abstract

The selection of outstanding students can be an important factor in awarding scholarships at the university level. However, in some cases, the process of selecting outstanding students and awarding scholarships is considered to be less objective, resulting in scholarships being awarded to students who may not necessarily be the most deserving. To address this issue, a system for selecting outstanding students was developed at STMIK KHARISMA Makassar to help all stakeholders in the institution make a more objective selection. The system is web-based and can be accessed in real-time by all stakeholders. The prototype method was used to help stakeholders and software engineers describe the software's requirements and specifications. The implementation of the system showed that it can assist in the evaluation process objectively based on the criteria set by all stakeholders, and that all system specifications are relevant to the user requirements. In conclusion, the development of this system has the potential to improve the selection process for outstanding students and ensure that scholarships are awarded to the most deserving students. By providing a more objective and transparent process, this system can help ensure that awards and scholarships are awarded on target.

Abstract

This paper describes the process of cluster analysis on the DBSCAN density-based clustering algorithm and the OPTICS augmentation algorithm implemented in R.. Compared to other implementations, DBSCAN offers an implementation that can leverage advanced data such as k-d trees to speed up calculations. An important advantage of this implementation is the ability of both algorithms to handle data, especially granular data with various forms, which conventional distance-based separation algorithms often cannot handle because of the difficulty of identifying the center of a data cluster. A simple comparison is shown to give insight into the advantages of this density-based method. Experiments with the implementation of DBSCAN and OPTICS compared to other popular algorithms show that DBSCAN implemented in R provides a fast, strong, and efficient solution.

Abstract

UIN Alauddin Makassar merupakan kampus yang dibangun dengan nilai seni tinggi yang tentunya menarik banyak minat calon mahasiswa untuk melihat suasana dan kondisi gedung secara nyata maupun virtual. Penggunaan konsep Virtual Tour mulai merambah dan digunakan pada beberapa bidang di antaranya bidang arsitektur. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dan metode perancangan yang digunakan adalah metode Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC). Sistem ini berbasis website dan diuji dengan menggunakan metode pengujian blackbox. Dari hasil pengujian kelayakan sistem, dengan membagikan kuisioner kepada 27 responden dapat disimpulkan bahwa berdasarkan perhitungan presentase sebanyak 82.9% yang berarti sangat puas dengan adanya Aplikasi Rancang Bangun Sistem Informasi Denah Gedung Berbasis Virtual Reality 360 Interaktif pada Fakultas Sains dan Teknologi UIN Alauddin Makassar.

Abstract

This research implements a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) to recognize ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics. CNN is a deep learning architecture that automatically learns the features of data hierarchically. The CNN technique effectively integrates feature extraction and classifiers into one system. This study used hieroglyphic characters from the pyramid of Unas, which consisted of 170 kinds of characters, but this study only used 11 kinds of characters that had a sample size above 100, namely characters D21, E34, G17, G43, I9, M17, N35, O50, S29, V31, and X1. The results showed that the accuracy achieved was 99%. This research is expected to help archaeologists, enthusiasts, tourists, and museum visitors to recognize hieroglyphic characters as historical objects that only a few people know. Abstract

Digitization services can assist the government in managing population data in an integrated manner and provide more effective and efficient services to the public. Social assistance services are the government's commitment to accelerating poverty alleviation. This study applies qualitative research to the design of social assistance service systems using the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) approach. The testing technique uses a Blackbox with a web-based built system. Based on the results of testing and observing the functionality of this information system, it can be concluded that the system design results can be accepted by the community with the presence of the Social Assistance Service Information System in Sunggumanai Village, Pattallassang District, Gowa Regency.

Abstract

The Internet of Things (IoT) is no longer a foreign concept. All devices have started to use IoT technology to connect with each other, allowing for remote and real-time monitoring. In this research, portable IoT-based temperature and humidity monitoring was conducted. The research was divided into three stages: hardware design, software design, and device performance testing. The system was designed using an Arduino Mega microcontroller for data acquisition and an ESP32 as a web server to display data from the Arduino Mega. The temperature and humidity sensor used was the DHT21. The RTC DS3231 was used as a timer to facilitate the analysis of the readings. The results of the sensor and RTC readings were displayed on an LCD and web server and stored on a microSD for further analysis. The results of the system testing showed that the system can be used for portable temperature and humidity measurement and real-time monitoring of the readings through a web server from multiple devices simultaneously.

Abstract

Badan Kepegawaian Pendidikan dan Pelatihan (BKPP) Kabupaten Gorontalo Utara merupakan suatu instansi Pemerintah Daerah yang bertanggung jawab atas tugas pokok dan fungsi sebagaimana tertera dalam Peraturan Bupati Gorontalo Utara Nomor 48 tahun 2016, tentang kedudukan, struktur organisasi, tugas, fungsi, dan prosedur kerja Badan Kepegawaian Pendidikan Pelatihan Kabupaten (BKPP) Gorontalo Utara. BKPP terdiri dari dua bidang utama, yakni bidang Kepegawaian dan bidang Diklat. Namun, pengurusan pensiun seringkali menjadi kurang efektif karena jumlah data yang besar dapat menyebabkan data tercecer atau bahkan hilang sebelum diolah menjadi informasi. Penyimpanan data yang masih dilakukan secara manual dan penginputan yang seringkali tidak akurat karena dilakukan secara manual juga menjadi kendala. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun sistem informasi Pengurusan Pensiun Pada Badan Kepegawaian Pendidikan Dan Pelatihan (BKPP) secara online. Penelitian ini menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan database MySQL, serta pengujian sistem menggunakan black box dan white box. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa sistem informasi pengurusan pensiun dapat memudahkan pegawai dalam melihat informasi terkait pengurusan pensiun dan informasi BKPP, sehingga menjadi solusi bagi pegawai dalam melakukan persiapan berkas pensiun secara online.

Abstract

CV Anugerah Sejati Prima is a trading company that sells various kinds of civil engineering laboratory equipment. In carrying out the inventory management process, periodic checks are still carried out because there is no record of incoming goods so the actual information on the number of stocks in the warehouse is less accurate. The purpose of this research is to create an information system that can be used by CV Anugerah Sejati Prima in assisting the process of recording and managing the inventory of goods. The single-moving average method is used in predicting the number of items to be restocked in the warehouse for the next period's sales. Extreme Programming is used in making this system and black-box as a system testing method. To find out the level of user satisfaction with the system created, the SUS test is carried out where this system is at number 81 which means it has an adjective rating of "Excellent".

Abstract

Patimpeng Subdistrict has residents with different levels of education with different educational problems. Therefore, different solutions are needed related to educational problems to improve the quality of education for the residents of Patimpeng Subdistrict. One of the information about the level of education in each village can be known through the number of graduates for each level of education. In order to classify the level of education, an appropriate method is needed that can make it easier to classify the level of education in each village. For this reason, the authors propose the optimum cluster method with the k-means algorithm for the number of graduates from various levels of education. The method used in making this system is using the waterfall method. Making this application uses PHP as the programming language using algorithms and using the Laravel framework and for system testing using blackbox testing and SUS (System Usability Scale). The results of this research are that the optimum cluster determination system for grouping villages based on education level using the k-means method has been successfully created. In addition, the results were obtained from the SUS (System Usability Scale) test with 80.71, which means that the value is an adjective rating of "Excellent".
