Abstract

Commonly used for driving mobile robot is by using certain pre defined algorithm. This research will try to develop driving technique using continuous self learning NN while mobile robot on go. This research only observe about how mobile robot by it self can move forward an how to avoid a collision. Program NN will try to learn how to move forward, backward, turn left, turn right or other possibility depend on or by using collision experience. The test results obtained 82% successful runs forward and approximately 90% managed to avoid a collision.

Abstract

The Increased fishing intensity will provide positive and negative impacts. Positive impact is an increase in production that can provide benefits, while the negative impact is eventually decline in production catches. The purpose of this research is potential of Estimating Maximum Sustainable Yield (MSY) in Malang Regency could still be maintained. MSY at the level of Maximum Economic Yield (MEY). Optimization of fishing effort and analysis economic eligibility fishing effort. The method of research using the survey method, Analysis of the data used is static Bio-economic model, and Gorden-Schaefer model. While the research results obtained MEY value of 5,789,952. kg/year and the actual conditions, a production of 5,221,781 kg/year and MSY of 5,829,206 kg/year, the rate of 90% utilization optimization, and optimal fishing levels have exceeded MSY. The advantage of fishermen in biology and economics as much as 5,789,952 kg/year. Conclusion The results showed that the water condition in Malang Regency was not economically efficient, because already there is excess fishing effort. Optimization needs to be done by limiting fishing effort, intensified fishing activities in deeper waters.

Abstract

An experiment was conduted to evaluate the effectiveness level of corn substituted by Morinda citrifolia leaf meal in broiler ration. The use of Morinda citrifolia leaf meal substituted for corn in ration is expected to improve feed conversion in broiler chickens and produce chicken meat that safe for consumption and free of chemical antibiotics residues . Completely Randomized Design (CRD) was used to analyze data obtained from this research. One hundred and sixty chicleas (7 days aged) divided into 5 (five) treatments with 4 (four) replications and each replication consisted of 8 (eight) chicleas. Ration of treatments were a negative control diet (R0), 1% Morinda citrifolia leaf meal (R1), 2% Morinda citrifolia leaf meal (R2), 3% Morinda citrifolia leaf meal (R3) and commersial ration (R4). All treatments rations were added a natural feed additive that consist of 0,125% Curcuma and.0,075% Turmeric meal. Measured parameters were feed intake, weight gain, feed conversion ratio, mortality, percentages of carcas and abdominal fat. Results showed that feed consumption, weight gain, and feed conversion ratio were significantly (p <0.05) influenced by treatments. Mortality, percentage of carcas and abdominal fat were not significantly (p >0.05) influenced by ration treatments. Mortality rates in chickens using a ration of treatment was 0%, while using the control diet 0,78% (1 bird). The counclusion showed that the substitution of 1-2% Morinda citrifolia leaf meal in ration has better performance compared to the control diet, with improvement of feed conversion ratio was 7.57 and 9.2% respectively was more efficient than the control diets

Abstract

This study aimed to analyse the sustainability of vegetables horticultural farming on sloping land in the upstream Jeneberang watershed based on the index evaluation and the status of sustainability by Rap-farm method using Multidimensional Scaling (MDS).Results of ordination technique analysis Rap-farm method of MDS showed that index of vegetables horticultural farming sustainability ranged from 32.19-62.53. Dimension of ecological, economical, institutional, and technological included into sustainable enough category, while social dimension, included into less sustainable category in vegetables horticultural farming systems. Results of leverage Rap-farm analysis showed that from 43 attributes that were analyzed, there were 23 sensitive attributes that affected into the sustainability of vegetables horticultural farming systems in the upstream of Jeneberang watershed.

Abstract

Students’ persistence is the ability of students to survive in carrying out the study. In Universitas Terbuka (UT), there are no real dropped out student, but there are considered as non-active or non persistence students. Length of study time among UT’s students can be divided into binary data categories, which are valued as persistence (1) and non persistence (0). Logistic regression analysis is one type of statistical data analysis to be used for binary data. The purposes of writing this article are to identify the factors which influence the length of study time among students of the Department of Management, Faculty of Economics in UT, and to determine appropriate model in order to explain the relationship between the response variables (length of study time) with explanatory variables using logistic regression. The method used in this research is a case study with a number of samples as 2,936 college students. The result of the study shows that the factors influence the length of study time with alpha levels 0.05 are: age, the number of the courses taken, the employment status of the student, the participation in tutorials, the first semester achievement index, and the cumulative grade point.

Abstract

Pasak bumi is popular as an aphrodisiac in the traditional medical herb. Boiled drink water of the root powder of pasak bumi is believed can increase the secondary reproduction characters such as libido and the duration of erection. This article is part of the research report that focus on: the distribution of hypophysis acidophil and basophil cells caused of the pasak bumi optimal dose treatment. Research carried out in an experiment using Hemaktosilin Eosin(HE) staining method to study micromorphological distribution of the acidophil and basophil cells of the male rat hypophysis after pasak bumi treatment (the dose of 18 mg pasak bumi/200 g body weight during three days, and the control of 1 ml aquadest). Result of the research showed that: Basophyl cells increased significantly in the third days of pasak bumi administered. Meanwhile acidophyl cells decreased in the third days of pasak bumi administered.
