The communication ability possessed by humans, especially Christians, is used to realize God's will. One of them is in carrying out the real Great Commission in the field of education, especially in the learning process. Learning in the classroom must take place effectively so that learning objectives are achieved through the realization of effective communication. Often, teachers have not been able to build effective communication because teachers are not able to manage the class properly through the delivery of appropriate information and according to the characteristics of student development, so that many students are less serious and disciplined in learning. Therefore, this article aims to discuss the importance of delivering the right information in building effective communication to third grade elementary school students as research subjects in this paper. Based on the results of the study, it was found that teachers experienced problems in managing the class, especially in attracting students' attention, giving instructions, conveying and applying class rules and procedures so that effective communication in classroom management had not been achieved, while in delivering subject matter, effective communication was quite built because students actively involved. Submission of appropriate information is very important for teachers to do, especially in building effective communication because it really determines the success or failure of learning activities by considering the characteristics of student development. Christian teachers also act as facilitators who reflect Christian values in every teaching they do.BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRACT: Kemampuan berkomunikasi yang dimiliki oleh manusia terutama orang Kristen digunakan untuk mewujudkan kehendak Tuhan. Salah satunya dalam menjalankan Amanat Agung yang nyata dalam bidang pendidikan khususnya dalam proses pembelajaran. Pembelajaran di dalam kelas harus berlangsung dengan efektif agar tujuan pembelajaran tercapai melalui terwujudnya komunikasi efektif. Sering kali, guru belum dapat membangun komunikasi efektif tersebut karena guru tidak mampu mengelola kelas dengan baik melalui penyampaian informasi yang tepat dan sesuai karakteristik perkembangan siswa, sehingga banyak siswa yang kurang serius dan disiplin dalam belajar. Oleh karena itu, artikel ini bertujuan untuk membahas mengenai pentingnya penyampaian informasi yang tepat dalam membangun komunikasi efektif kepada siswa kelas III SD sebagai subjek penelitian dalam makalah ini. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, ditemukan bahwa guru mengalami kendala dalam mengelola kelas khususnya dalam menarik perhatian siswa, memberi instruksi, menyampaikan dan menerapkan peraturan dan prosedur kelas sehingga komunikasi efektif dalam pengelolaan kelas belum tercapai, sedangkan dalam penyampaian materi pelajaran, komunikasi efektif cukup terbangun karena siswa terlibat aktif. Penyampaian informasi yang tepat sangatlah penting untuk guru lakukan khususnya dalam membangun komunikasi efektif karena sangat menentukan berhasil atau tidaknya kegiatan pembelajaran dengan mempertimbangakan karakteristik perkembangan siswa. Guru Kristen juga berperan sebagai fasilitator yang mencerminkan nilai-nilai Kristiani dalam setiap pengajaran yang dilakukannya.

The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic requires learning to be done online. That way, the use of technology in the 4.0 era is also needed to be used as an online learning medium. Media that can be used to support online learning are Cisco Webex and educational games such as Quizizz. Observations made by the author of the sixth grade elementary school students show the problem of the lack of active learning of students when participating in online learning. Therefore, the purpose of writing this article is to describe the optimization of online learning media to encourage student learning activities in learning mathematics. The formulation of the problem taken is how to optimize online learning media by teachers in encouraging student learning activities in learning mathematics. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. In addition, in Christian education, teachers must still see each student as the image and likeness of God even though students are less active in participating in online learning. Therefore, teachers still need to pay attention and encourage students to develop and be actively involved in learning. Through the use of Cisco Webex to engage students in discussions and Quizizz to engage students in exercises, students become more active in learning. However, the teacher's efforts have not had an overall impact, so teachers need to understand more about online media and the right features in encouraging student learning activities.BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRACT: Dampak dari pandemi Covid-19 mengharuskan pembelajaran dilakukan secara online. Dengan begitu, penggunaan teknologi era 4.0 juga diperlukan untuk dijadikan sebagai media pembelajaran online. Media yang dapat digunakan sebagai pendukung dalam pembelajaran online adalah Cisco Webex serta game edukasi seperti Quizizz. Pengamatan yang dilakukan oleh penulis terhadap siswa SD kelas VI menunjukkan masalah kurangnya keaktifan belajar siswa saat mengikuti pembelajaran online. Oleh karena itu, tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah memaparkan optimalisasi media pembelajaran online untuk mendorong keaktifan belajar siswa di dalam pembelajaran matematika. Rumusan masalah yang diambil adalah bagaimana optimalisasi media pembelajaran online yang dilakukan guru dalam mendorong keaktifan belajar siswa pada pembelajaran matematika. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Selain itu, dalam pendidikan Kristen, guru harus tetap melihat setiap siswa sebagai gambar dan rupa Allah meskipun siswa kurang aktif dalam mengikuti pembelajaran secara online. Oleh karena itu, guru tetap perlu memperhatikan dan mendorong siswa untuk berkembang dan terlibat aktif dalam pembelajaran. Melalui penggunaan Cisco Webex untuk melibatkan siswa dalam diskusi serta Quizizz untuk melibatkan siswa dalam latihan, siswa menjadi lebih aktif mengikuti pembelajaran. Namun upaya guru tersebut belum berdampak secara keseluruhan, sehingga guru perlu memahami lagi media online serta fitur-fitur yang tepat dalam mendorong keaktifan belajar siswa.

Reflective learning is one of the actions in which the teacher observes the shortcomings that occur in the classroom. Reflective learning aims to find solutions to every problem that arises when the teacher teaches, so that class management runs well. This reflection process consists of 4 stages: concrete experience, reflective observation, abstract conceptualization, and active experimentation. The focus of the study in this paper is on Christian education, Christian teachers, students, reflective learning, and classroom management. The method used is analysis based on literature study. Reflective learning practices that rely on the Holy Spirit in the progressive sanctification process to become like God in responding to each student's behavior according to the principles of the Christian faith. Reflective learning is important to be applied in the classroom, because through reflective learning the teacher will be more sensitive to problems in the classroom. Based on the results of this study, it can be said that the difficulties experienced by the author during the reflection process; first, student teachers do not see the importance of assertiveness in leading the class. Second, do not give a firm attitude during the learning process. Third, student teachers are not consistent in carrying out discipline in the classroom. It is recommended that in the implementation of reflective learning, teachers need to have sufficient experience and competence, and need to carry out a complete reflective learning cycle to complete the completion of overcoming the class.BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRACT: Pembelajaran reflektif adalah salah satu tindakan dimana guru melakukann observasi, terhadap kekurangan yang terjadi dalam kelas. Pembelajaran reflektif bertujuan untuk menemukan solusi untuk setiap permasalahan yang muncul saat guru mengajar, sehingga manajemen kelas berjalan dengan baik. Proses refleksi ini terdiri dari 4 tahap: concrete experience, reflective observation, abstract conceptualization, dan active experiment. Fokus kajian dalam paper ini mengenai pendidikan Kristen, guru Kristen, siswa, pembelajaran reflektif, dan manajemen kelas. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis berdasarkan studi literature. Praktik pembelajaran reflektif yang mengandalkan Roh Kudus dalam proses progressive sanctification untuk menjadi semakin serupa dengan Allah dalam merespons setiap perilaku siswa sesuai prinsip iman Kriten. Pembelajaran reflektif penting untuk diterapkan dalam kelas, karena melalui pembelajaran reflektif guru akan semakin peka dengan permasalahan dalam kelas. Berdasakan hasil dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa kesulitan yang dialami penulis selama proses refleksi; pertama, mahasiswa guru tidak memandang penting sikap tegas dalam memimpin kelas. Kedua, tidak memberikan sikap tegas selama proses belajar. Ketiga, mahasiswa guru tidak konsisten adalam menjalankan sikap disiplin dalam kelas. Disarankan dalam pelaksanaan pembelarajan reflektif guru perlu memiliki pengalaman dan kompetensi yang cukup, serta perlu melakukan siklus pembelajaran reflektif secara utuh untuk memberikan penyelesaian dalam mengatasi kelas.

The post-harvest fungi is one of the greatest cause of various diseases. Particularly, in fungus that infects seeds, the toxic substance called aflatoxin is found. This has caused us to wonder: Has fungi been pathogenic fungi since the beginning of creation? The purpose of this research is to study: 1) The Place of Fungi in God’s Original Creation and the Origin of Pathogenic Fungi, 2) Characterization of post-harvest fungus on corn seeds, 3) Aspergillus sp.’s Structure as Proof of God’s Wonderful Original Creation and Providence, and 4) The factors that contribute to the growth of fungi in post-harvest corn seeds and our responsibility. We conclude that in the beginning, fungi were a part of God’s originally good and perfect creation. These fungi were created by God with the structure and function to support its operation in fulfilling God’s creative purpose. The complex structure of Aspergillus niger and Aspergillus flavus that infected the corn seeds showed God’s providence after the Fall. Pathogenic fungi were the result of the Fall of man into sin. Their growth is caused by the failure to give proper care to the crops. But this should not discourage us since the Bible tells us that God is continually working to restore His creation. Therefore, we are called to be stewards of His creation, to develop and preserve whatever is entrusted in our hands, including the crops for God’s glory and under His authority until He has fully renewed and restored everything.BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRACT: Jamur pasca panen merupakan salah satu penyebab terbesar timbulnya berbagai penyakit, khususnya disebabkan oleh jamur yang menginfeksi biji-bijian dan menghasilkan substansi beracun disebut dengan aflatoksin. Keadaan ini menimbulkan pertanyaan apakah jamur patogenik ada sejak awal penciptaan? Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari: 1) Posisi jamur patogenik di awal penciptaan dan asal mula jamur patogenik, 2) karakteristik jamur pasca panen pada biji jagung, 3) struktur Aspergillus sp sebagai bukti dari providensi Allah akan ciptaanNya yang sangat luar biasa, 4) faktor-faktor yang berkontribusi terhadap pertumbuhan jamur pasca panen biji jagung dan Tanggung jawab kita. Dari hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa pada mulanya, jamur merupakan bagian ciptaan Allah yang sungguh amat baik dan sempurna. Struktur yang kompleks dari Aspergillus niger dan Aspergillus flavus yang menginfeksi biji jagung menunjukkan providensi Allah setelah kejatuhan dosa. Pertumbuhan jamur patogenik merupakan gambaran kejatuhan manusia ke dalam dosa yaitu kegagalan manusia untuk memberikan pemeliharaan yang memadahi pada biji-bijian pasca panen. Namun demikian, keadaan ini tidak mematahkan semangat kita karena Alkitab mengatakan bahwa Allah masih terus bekerja untuk memulihkan ciptaanNya. Oleh karena itu, diharapkan kita semua menjadi pelayan atas ciptaanNya untuk mengembangkan dan menjaga apa yang dipercayakan kepada kita di bawah otoritasNya termasuk biji-bijian untuk memuliakan Allah hingga Dia secara penuh memperbaharui dan memulihkan segala sesuatu

This research is a case study that analyzes the problem of the Faith-Learning Integration management process for the Korean Sunday School “Y” in Indonesia during the COVID-19 pandemic. In this research, data collection was carried out with 5 informants, 58 questionnaires from respondents consisting of students, parents and teachers as well as recordings of student activity results. From the results of this study, it can be seen that there are several obstacles experienced by students, teachers and parents in the Faith-Learning Integration management process. First, students are not satisfied with centering on video learning platforms because there is no interaction between teachers, students and their friends so it needs to be changed from a one-way platform, such as video to an interactive platform between students and teachers such as Zoom or Google Classroom, etc. In addition, students from parents of other religions do not get support and attention from their parents to carry out Faith-Learning Integration with Work From Home (WFH) so that Faith-Learning Integration activities stop. Second, teachers' technical skills are very limited, so interactive online classroom training is required. Third, parents feel burdened and stressed when they have to give examples of faith, morals and good discipline to children in Faith-Learning Integration during WFH. The last obstacle, the 5 dimensions of the Faith-Learning Integration are not tightly integrated with each other so they do not run in harmony. The dimensions of Leitourgia and Didache were implemented well, while Kerygma, Koinonia, and Diakonia were not carried out well due to social distancing obstacles. For this reason, it is recommended that "Y" management use an interactive platform and develop innovative and creative ways that can motivate students so that they do not feel the distance between teachers and students and the surrounding environment is getting farther away even though they participate in social distancing.BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRACT: Penelitian ini adalah studi kasus yang menganalisa masalah proses manajemen pengintegrasian pembelajaran iman Sekolah Minggu Korea “Y” di Indonesia pada masa pandemi COVID-19. Dalam penelitian ini dilaksanakan pengumpulan data dengan 5 orang narasumber, 58 hasil kuesioner dari responden yang terdiri dari siswa, orangtua dan guru serta rekaman hasil aktivitas siswa. Dari hasil penelitian ini terlihat adanya beberapa kendala yang dialami oleh siswa, guru dan orang tua dalam proses manajemen pengintegrasian pembelajaran iman. Pertama, siswa tidak puas dengan berpusat pada media pembelajaran video karena tidak terjadi interaksi antara guru, siswa dan teman-temannya sehingga perlu diubah dari media yang bersifat satu arah, seperti video ke berbagai media yang interaktif antara siswa dan guru seperti Zoom atau Google Classroom, dll. Selain itu, siswa dari orangtua yang beragama lain kurang mendapat dukungan dan perhatian dari orangtuanya untuk melakukan pengintegrasian pembelajaran iman dengan pembelajaran daring dari rumah sehingga aktivitas pengintegrasian pembelajaran iman jadi terhenti. Kedua, keterampilan teknis guru sangat terbatas sehingga diperlukan pelatihan kelas online secara interaktif. Ketiga, orangtua merasa terbebani dan stress ketika harus memberikan contoh iman, moral dan disiplin yang baik kepada anak-anak dalam pengintegrasian pembelajaran iman selama pembelajaran daring dari rumah. Kendala yang terakhir, 5 dimensi dari pengintegrasian pembelajaran iman tidak terintegrasi satu sama lain secara erat sehingga tidak berjalan selaras. Dimensi Leitourgia dan Didache dilaksanakan dengan baik, sedangkan Kerygma, Koinonia, dan Diakonia tidak terlaksana dengan baik karena adanya hambatan social distancing. Untuk itu disarankan manajemen “Y” menggunakan berbagai media yang interaktif dan mengembangkan cara yang inovatif dan kreatif yang dapat memotivasi siswa supaya tidak merasakan jarak antara guru dan siswa serta lingkungan sekitarnya semakin jauh walaupun mengikuti social distancing.

With the Covid-19 pandemic, the implementation of learning which is usually done face-to-face, now has to be done online as an effort to break the chain of the spread of Covid-19. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of online learning during the covid-19 pandemic in the city of Cilegon. The research is a quantitative descriptive study in which the data collection technique uses a survey method in the form of a questionnaire given online. The first stage of data analysis conducted by the researcher is testing the validity and reliability of the instrument. Then the data obtained through the questionnaire was also carried out percentage analysis to determine the shape of the degree / level in order to be able to group it on the criteria of effectiveness. The research subjects were high school and vocational high school students or the equivalent. It is found that the results show an average of 60.6365% or fall into the category of quite effective.BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRACT: Dengan adanya pandemi covid-19, pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang biasanya dilakukan dengan tatap muka, sekarang harus dilakukan secara daring sebagai upaya memutus rantai penyebaran covid-19. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis efektivitas pembelajaran daring selama masa pandemi covid-19 di kota Cilegon. Penelitian termasuk kedalam penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif yang mana teknik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan metode survey berupa angket yang diberikan secara online. Tahapan pertama dari analisis data yang dilakukan oleh peneliti yaitu uji validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen. Kemudian data yang diperoleh melalui kuesioner dilakukan pula analisis persentasi untuk mengetahui bentuk derajat/tingkatannya agar dapat mengelompokkan pada kriteria keefektivan. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik tingkat SMA dan SMK atau sederajat. Didapatkan bahwa hasil menunjukkan rata-rata 60,6365% atau masuk kedalam kategori cukup efektif.

Mathematics is a subject that is considered a scourge by most students. They think that mathematics is difficult, complicated, and boring. However, if we look at the process of creation, everything in this universe (including mathematics) is God's creation and everything is really good. This truth needs to be revealed to students by the mathematics teacher. Unfortunately, many math teachers make students dislike mathematics. Therefore, this paper aims to describe the role of Christian mathematics teachers to guide students in viewing mathematics according to God's perspective. The research method used is the literature study method. The results of this study indicate that the role of Christian mathematics teachers includes: (1) appreciating and exploring mathematics first; (2) developing the four teacher competencies; and (3) understand the objectives of learning mathematics. Christian mathematics teachers also need to be careful not to fall into the sin of idolatry and pride by asking the Holy Spirit for help to be enabled in each of their ministries.BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRACT: Matematika merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran yang dianggap momok oleh siswa. Siswa menganggap bahwa matematika itu sulit, rumit, dan membosankan. Namun jika melihat pada proses penciptaan maka segala yang ada di alam semesta ini (termasuk matematika) merupakan ciptaan Allah dan semuanya sungguh amat baik. Kebenaran ini perlu disingkapkan kepada siswa oleh guru matematika. Namun, banyak guru matematika yang justru membuat siswa tidak menyukai matematika. Oleh sebab itu, tulisan ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan peran guru matematika Kristen di dalam menuntun siswa dalam memandang matematika sesuai dengan cara pandang Allah. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode studi kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian ini memaparkan bahwa peran guru matematika Kristen meliputi: (1) mengapresiasi dan menjelajahi matematika terlebih dahulu; (2) mengembangkan keempat kompetensi guru; serta (3) memahami tujuan pembelajaran matematika. Guru matematika Kristen juga perlu berhati-hati agar tidak jatuh ke dalam dosa penyembahan berhala dan kesombongan dengan meminta pertolongan kepada Roh Kudus agar dimampukan dalam setiap pelayanannya.

Plastic waste that is difficult to decompose is a serious problem in environmental pollution. Geometry is a difficult subject for students, and plastic waste can be used as teaching aids to help students learn geometry. This research is a type of development research and aims to develop teaching aids from plastic waste in learning plane geometry in fifth grade elementary school. The results showed that the teaching aids developed were valid, practical and effective. Teaching aids are called practical if they meet the interesting, gradation, independent, auto-correction, and contextual aspects. The validity of the teaching aids is obtained through aspects of suitability, completeness, convenience, and clarity. Based on the assessment of the three validators, an average score of 3.50 was obtained so that the teaching aids were categorized as valid. The practicality of teaching aids by students showed that 95% of students stated that they were interesting, graded, and independent, 74% of students stated that it was auto-correction and 91% stated that it was contextual. The effectiveness of the teaching aids can be seen from the significant difference between the average pre-test score of 46.2 and the post-test average score of 77.3. The props from the plastic waste that were developed are stored and will be used later for the same lesson in the future.BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRACT: Limbah plastik yang sulit terurai adalah masalah yang serius dalam pencemaran lingkungan. Geometri merupakan pelajaran yang sulit bagi siswa, dan limbah plastik dapat digunakan sebagai alat peraga untuk membantu siswa dalam belajar geometri. Penelitian ini adalah jenis pengembangan dan bertujuan mengembangkan alat peraga dari limbah plastik dalam pembelajaran geometri bidang datar di kelas V SD. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa alat peraga yang dikembangkan valid, praktis dan efektif. Alat peraga disebut praktis jika memenuhi aspek menarik, bergradasi, mandiri, auto correction, dan kontekstual. Kevalidan alat peraga diperoleh melalui aspek kesesuaian, kelengkapan, kemudahan, dan kejelasan. Berdasarkan penilaian tiga validator diperoleh skor rata-rata 3,50 sehingga alat peraga dikategorikan valid. Kepraktisan alat peraga oleh siswa menunjukkan bahwa 95% siswa menyatakan menarik, bergradasi, dan mandiri, 74% siswa menyatakan auto correction dan 91% menyatakan kontekstual. Keefektifan alat peraga terlihat dari perbedaan yang signifikan antara skor rata-rata pre tes 46,2 dan skor rata-rata pos tes 77,3. Alat peraga dari limbah plastik yang dikembangkan disimpan dan akan digunakan kemudian untuk pelajaran yang sama di kemudian hari.
