Abstract

Tofu is made of soybean. Tofu is one of the protein sources needed by our body. During the process of making tofu is produced waste materials (waste) both with a solid texture or liquid. Solid texture waste is usually sell very cheap for livestock feed, whereas liquid waste is thrown away with other domestic wastes every day. The liquid waste volume was increasing daily. People was produce tofu everyday so it is definitely waste formed daily that is dis-charged to the environment. It is feared can further pollute the environment. The purpose of this community service is to utilize the tofu waste as the raw material for soy sauce in an effort to overcome environmental pollution by tofu industry waste and increase the family income. The methods used in this community service were counseling, training and skills practices of targeted community groups on the mastery of processed waste technologies in the form of soy sauce. Also to facilitate some tools to support tofu production process. The result of community service shows that the target community has been able to master the processing of tofu waste into soy sauce from the beginning of processing until the production, soy sauce produced has been marketed and generated a profit of 4.5%. And the profit that can be obtained in soy sauce production is 4.5%. Key words : Tofu waste, Soy sauce, Environment pollution, income

Abstract

The purpose of this program is to change the adolescent mindset as well as improve the future orientation of youth in education. Furthermore, the community is expected to have awareness to run its the role as a support system in improving the future orientation of adolescents. The method of implementation of this program is empowering community psychology approach implemented through several stages, namely providing group counseling and motivation to adolescents, counseling to improve the participation of parents and teachers in improving the future orientation of adolescents. Parents tales of psycho education about educating teenagers, the importance of continu-ing adolescent education and improving parental patterns of concern about adolescents who find it difficult to get a mate. To the group of teachers given counseling effective communication with adolescents. The result of this assistance is the emergence of awareness of students (adolescents) to continue education to a higher level such as high school or vocational school by 85% from the previous only 40 %, while those who have motivation to continue education to college increased 10% from 0 %. Teenagers are still worried about getting children’s labels unsold by the public, but have started to decrease. Parents begin to have an awareness of the importance of their role in the future of their teenagers. Teachers gain insight and discover new methods of effective communication with adoles-cents. Key word: Community Psychology, teens, Future Orientation

Abstract

Komunikasi merupakan komponen penting dalam pelayanan Rumah Sakit, dengan mendengarakan keluhan atau pertanyaan pasien dan menjelaskan prosedur tindakan adalah contoh-contoh komunikasi yang harus dilakukan selama melakukan pelayanan. Komunikasi juga merupakan proses yang dilakukan petugas dalam menjalin kerjasama yang baik dengan pasien atau dengan tenaga kesehatan lain dalam rangka membantu mengatasi masalah pasien. Masalah yang ditemukan adalah kurang responnya pemberi pelayanan ketika pasien atau keluarganya mengemukakan keluhan yang berkaitan dengan pengobatan dan perawatannya. “Pelatihan dan Workshop Komunikasi, Informasi, Edukasi (KIE)”. Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah Agar petugas keseahatan khususnya perawat di RS. Abstract

The purpose of this community service program are to change the previous paradigm of local people who assumed that waste is a useless material, to a new paradigm which believed that waste can be potential a raw material for handicraft that have economic value, provide skill through training to make handicraft made from plastic waste and change the old pattern of collect-transport-throw away, into 3R patterns, ie reduce, reuse and recycle and also establish a waste management group. The method of this community service program was implemented in 3 (three) stages, Firstly counseling in improving environmental awareness. Secondly, training how to recycle plastic crackle and sachet, and thirdly, assisting garbage management group. The result of this service program are  that there is a change of paradigm of the service program’s partners who previously throw garbage carelessly, recently they are already have awareness of sorting the waste between non recyclable and recyclable, citizens also have the skills to produce handicrafts made from the raw materials of plastic waste. In addition, there is existing group which is expected to be the future “Bank Sampah”. Keywords = waste, recycle, plastic waste.

Abstract

Special Klangon is the presence of a natural viewpoint of Mount Merapi from close range and become a favorite location for the biker mountain bike rider (mountain bike / MTB). The number of visitors who come to make managers overwhelmed to serve visitors because it still uses the management system manually by using stationery and books as a medium of recording transactions every day. The booking system there is still using sms and telfon to make mistakes when logging. The research that will be done is to convert management system in Klangon Tourism Village from manual system to computerized system. With the development of software development technology in the form of framework bebasis PHP is widely used that is Codeigniter (CI). The CI framework was developed to make it easier to develop applications. The structure of the CI Framework has implemented object-oriented programming concepts and the Models-Views-Controller (MVC) approach. This research uses CI in devel-oping this application with Waterfall method. Results Making Information System Booking Klangon Tour is an online booking process that provides information about any product that is in Klangon tourism and provide tour package information and price list of the package, Users can choose existing tour packages. Abstract

Tirta Polengan merupakan merupakan produk olahan dari sumber air murni kaki Gunung Merapi di Dusun Lembar, Desa Polengan, Kecamatan Srumbung, Kabupaten Magelang, Jawa Tengah menjadi air minum dalam kemasan rendah kontaminasi. Teknologi yang digunakan untuk mengolah sumber air tersebut menjadi air minum adalah Reverse Osmosis (RO). Pelaksanaan program dibagi menjadi tiga tahapan, pertama adalah pra program, tahap pelaksanaan program, dan keberlanjutan program. Tahap pra program dirinci menjadi 4 kegiatan yaitu dimulai dengan observasi, menyiapkan alat dan bahan, membentuk kelompok usaha, dan merancang desain label serta kemasan. Tahap pelaksanaan program dirinci menjadi 7 kegiatan yaitu meliputi sosialisasi program kepada masyarakat setempat, perbaikan dan penambahan cabang saluran air, pemasangan penampungan air, pemasangan alat Reverse Osmosis (RO), uji coba produk, pelatihan produksi dan pengemasan, dan pendampingan produksi serta pengemasan. Hasil dari program ini adalah adannya pandangan baru masyarakat setempat bahwa sumber air yang selama ini tidak bernilai ekonomis dapat dimanfaatkan dan diolah menjadi produk yang bernilai jual. Selain itu, timbul motivasi masyarakat setempat untuk menjalankan unit usaha bersama dalam bidang pengolahan air minum dalam kemasan rendah kontaminasi yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat dalam jangka panjang. Program ini tidak hanya bermuara pada terciptanya produk, rencana lanjutan program ini adalah dengan melakukan pendampingan pemasaran produk baik secara online maupun offline dan diversifikasi produk Tirta Polengan. Kata kunci: Tirta Polengan, Reverse Osmosis, mata air pegunungan, air minum rendah kontaminasi

Abstract

The community’s contribution in blood donation is the main factor to determine the availability and assistance of health facilities. Based on data from the public health department, the percentage of mortality especially for pregnant women is caused by bleeding is 28%. This isssue can be dealt through the activiness of community citizens as donors. Currently, there are several problems to fulfill the needs of blood services in terms of both quantity and time. This activity is conducted with the aim to facilitate the presentation of blood types information quickly and accurately for the community. The method applied in the activity begins with the socializing to ccommunity with the benefits of blood, data collection of blood type from community, blood type test, data input, android application, and socialization the using of android applications to the residents. Abstract

Koripan 1 in Dlingo has tourism potential that can be developed to improve people’s economy, there is water springs from sendang Umbul Ndeso and petilasan Gunung Pasar. In addition, because the majority of people’s livelihood are farmers, the results of agricultural processing can also be used as a means of supporting the tourist area. This activity aims to develop the potential tourist area in Koripan 1 which is expected to be an alternative income residents so that the economy increases. The method used is the analysis of village-based tourism development process based on local community participation then reduced to the steps of village development. The results and implications of this activity include the design of tourism objects Umbul Ndeso and petilasan Gunung Pasar, development of early stage of the form of gazebo, street lighting and road directions, training for the community related to improving the quality of farm produce and licensing P-IRT, and marketing through online media. The conclusion of this activity is the development program of tourist area of Koripan 1 has assisted in building the tourist village as well as providing direction for sustainable development step for the community. Abstract

Packaging and marketing program of oyster mushroom and rice products is caused by the absence of pack-aging and marketing strategy of oyster mushroom and rice in Kanten, KebonAgung, Imogiri, Bantul, Special Region of Yogyakarta. This program aims to increase productivity, packaging innovation and marketing of organic rice products and oyster mushrooms in the Kanten. Methods of implementation undertaken in this program include sosialization, training and mentoring by Community Service Team. Implementation of this community service has a target that is Sasono Catur Members of Farmers Group and Sekar Arum Members of Women Farmer Group. Materials provided include entrepreneurial materials with emphasis on packaging and online marketing of oyster mushroom and rice products. The results and discuss of this community service in the form of packaging of organic rice products labeled “beras sehat” with size 3 and 5 kg and oyster mushroom packaging labeled “jamur kanten crispy” that weighs 1-5 ounces. Marketing of organic rice and jamur kanten crispy in this community service is in the form of manual marketing by offering to store/ supermarket and online through shopee account. Abstract

Addressing the problem of waste management using the principle of Collect-Transport-Dump (Kumpul-Angkut-Buang) is no longer relevant since it does not solve the source of the problem that is the generated waste from household. As the highest waste generator, household waste management is crucial to reduce the waste volume dumped in the landfill. This means that active participation from the community is a must in waste management and for the community to know how to sort the waste and be able to do it is a necessity. The community service discussed in this article is one of the efforts to improve community capacity in Dusun Sruni, Cangkringan Sub-district, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta in managing the waste generated from their household by adapting the self-managed waste management well implemented in other cities in Indonesia. The steps implemented in the com-munity service as well as the expected results are described in this article. The findings on the potential problems in educating the community-based waste management as well as futher plans activities to the sustainability of the waste management are also discussed in this article. Keywords: waste management, community participation, community-based waste management
