<![CDATA[The purpose of this article is to review how could God being affected by His creation; could He really be changed His mind or regretted by people’s praying. Those questions caused by some verses that indicated God could change His mind, such as Genesis 6:6; Exodus 32:10-14; 1 Samuel 15:11,35. This is a research that used a method of texts analyzing with a qualitative approach which reviewing those verses. The conclusion is that God does not change His mind as people do. The statement of God changes His mind, basically can be classified as an accommodation, a manner how God delivered His intent to any human being in an understandable way.AbstrakTulisan ini bermaksud mengkaji sejauh mana Allah dapat dipengaruhi ciptaan-Nya; apakah Ia memang dapat berubah pikiran ketika mendengar doa manusia, dan apakah Ia dapat menyesal. Pertanyaan-pertanyaan tersebut muncul karena adanya ayat-ayat yang mengindikasikan bahwa Allah berubah pikiran, seperti Kejadian 6:6; Keluaran 32:10-14; 1 Samuel 15:11, 35. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif literatur yang menggunakan metode analisis teks pada ayat-ayat tersebut. Kesimpulannya, bahwa Allah tidak mengalami perubahan seperti apa yang dialami oleh manusia. Pernyataan bahwa Allah berubah pikiran pada dasarnya dapat digolongkan sebagai akomodasi, cara Allah menyampaikan maksudnya kepada manusia dengan cara yang dapat dipahami. ]]>

<![CDATA[This research purposed to show the category level of family supported to the aged people in church ministry at Gereja Bethel Injil Sepenuh Kepunton, Surakarta, year 2016. Hypotheses of this research is: a category level of family’s support to the aged people in church ministry is at Gereja Bethel Injil Sepenuh Kepunton, Surakarta, year 2016 is moderate. Analysis of correlation showed that family supported had a correlation level to the involvement of aged people in ministry is at 0.461, which means moderate. Though the hypotheses was tried and true, there were some recommendations to increase family supported to the aged people in ministry, like: making a seminar about family, special sermon’s theme about family or special retreat for aged people]]>

<![CDATA[The conflict between faith and actual action is caused by the ignorance of many people for grace and the law. The view that ‘faith is not enough' or 'faith must be parallel to deed' has completely ignored what the Word of God says about both. In this paper the author shows the standard of the Word of God to understand faith and deed takes place in the life of true Christianity. The life of faith must depart from faith and lead to faith, meaning we must live by faith. Faith is expressed through deeds. So, Faith and Actions are two things that can not be separated from each other, but complement each other. Salvation is the grace of God and Man can only accept salvation from God only through faith, not by works. Having received salvation in this way, man must work the salvation in life through the deeds that men do and do. If man is not active in salvation in this way after he becomes a believer, it shows that the faith he claims to be by mouth is dead faith. It's a sign that he has not really experienced salvation. Man is not saved by works. But deeds are a sign of whether the faith really lives. James does not intend to distinguish between faith and deeds; what is distinguished is between faith accompanied by deeds and faith which is not accompanied by deeds. For James faith must be accompanied by deeds. One can not exist without the other, for faith without works is dead.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract: Giving advice is a part of believer’s life. There are some ways to advise others. Paul the apostle used a way that called “nouthetic” in advised people. Nothetic also applied by Greek people, and church’s fathers as well. This article aims to give an obvious understanding about using a term of “nouthetic”in New Testament idea for giving advice to every people who need.Abstrak: Menasehati merupakan bagian kehidupan orang percaya. <![CDATA[Theology is an effort which people does in order to have an understanding about God of whom worshipped to be, thus what church did. Theology must have a construction that resulted in an understanding for congregations according to their limitations. This article aimed to give this congregation about the meaning of theology itself so that not to be entrapped in the theological issues those erasing the obvious concept about God. The methodology used in this article is a philosophical analysis about the meaning of theology itself for a congregation. The conclusion is that theology must be viewed at several sides, which are: its relation with history, dialogue, and context so that theology is understandable in the context of developing culture.AbstrakTeologi merupakan usaha manusia untuk mengerti tentang Allah yang disembahnya, demikian pula oleh warga gereja. Teologi harus memiliki konstruksi yang menghasilkan pemahaman bagi warga gereja sesuai dengan keterbatasan mereka. Artikel bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman tentang makna teologi bagi warga gereja agar tidak terjebak pada persoalan-persoalan teologi yang menghilangkan konsep Allah yang jelas. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis filosofis mengenai makna teologi bagi warga gereja. Kesimpulannya, teologi harus dipandang pada beberapa sisi, yakni dalam relasinya dengan sejarah, dialogis dan relasi konteks, sehingga teologi mampu dipahami dalam konteks budaya yang terus berkembang.]]>

<![CDATA[This article discusses the eschatology (end times) in the perspective of the Gospel of Mark. This topic is not contained in the other chapters in the book of Mark, rather than just in Mark 13: 1-37. Mark 13: 1-37 , featuring a view of the history in which the crisis and persecution at this age will pave the way for a future. It draws from the passage is an introduction to the understanding of eschatology, beginning with the statement of a disciple of Jesus about the temple (13:1) and the response of the Lord Jesus spoke of the events still in the future (eschatology) and at the same time talking about events imminent (the collapse of the temple). Both events are discussed simultaneously, as if the two events occur at the same time. In this paper, the two events referred to as a dual prophecy of the Lord Jesus. In Mark 13, the Lord Jesus spoke of the end of world history has begun. <![CDATA[Abstract: Golden character is one of some factors needed by believers in achieving golden age or moment. Golden character is an ideal one based on the true of Bible verses. This is an article which aimed to show the importance of having that character to get a golden achievement. This article used a method of descriptive to describe biblically what the golden character is, then sumed it inductively that believer must have a golden character to achieve the golden moment. Abstrak: Istilah Golden Character atau karakter emas merupakan salah satu faktor yang dibutuhkan untuk dapat mencapai masa keemasan bagi orang percaya. Golden Character merupakan karakter ideal yang didasarkan pada kebenaran alkitabiah. In order for the spirituality of the church, including children and youth to experience growth until full maturity according to the will of God is necessary for continuous coaching through teaching and fellowship. In this research, the authors identify that the teaching and the fellowship have a very significant influence on the spiritual growth of children and youth, especially in the Gereja Sungai Yordan Keluarga Allah Kutabumi, Tangerang. <![CDATA[Abstract: The Ministry of a Gift is a Christian ministry both inward and outward of the chuirch. It is a reflection of the gift God’s given in related to Church ministry according to her need and the world’s context where the church existed. This article purposed to show the reflection that the world which in digital era is requiring an actual form of ministry that the church must be responded and prepared it. This article employed a method of literature descriptive and analysis of world’s context. The analysis result is that the church must establish and develop a gift of writing to God’s people in order to develop their ministry. Abstrak: Pelayanan Karunia adalah sebuah bentuk pelayanan Kristiani, baik dalam konteks gereja maupun di luar gereja. Pelayanan karunia merupakan refleksi dari pengembangan karunia yang Tuhan sediakan berkaitan dengan pelayanan sesuai dengan kebutuhan gereja dan konteks dunia di mana gereja berada. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menunjukkan secara reflektif, bahwa dunia yang sudah memasuki era digital ini membutuhkan sebuah bentuk pelayanan aktual yang harus ditanggapi dan dipersiapkan oleh gereja. Metode dalam penelitian literatur ini adalah deskriptif dan analisis. Temuan dalam kajian analisis reflektif ini diperoleh, bahwa gereja harus mengembangkan karunia menulis bagi umat Tuhan agar dapat mengembangkan pelayanannya.]]>
