Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine the effect of learning methods on the mastery of the concept of science. To know the influence of student's learning interest to mastery of science concept. To know the influence of interactive learning method and student's interest in the mastery of science concept. The research method used was a Quasi-experimental method with the Quantitative approach. The research was conducted in Mts Negeri 1 South Jakarta and Mts N 23 South Jakarta in the academic year 2016/2017. The sample in this study amounted to 70 students with random sampling. Hypothesis testing with 2 way ANOVA. The result of the research shows that there is a significant influence on the use of learning media to the learning outcomes of science, there is a significant influence of learning interest on the learning outcomes of science, there is a non-significant influence of the interaction of learning methods and the interest of learning on the science learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyze the effect of cooperative learning method toward the seventh-grade students of Private Junior High School in South Tangerang. The method that used in the research was an experimental method, where the independent variable was cooperative learning method and the dependent variable was the result of learning mathematics. The sample was taken by using the random sampling technique. The test data requirements were done by using the following formula:   chi-square test for normality test and Fisher test for homogeneity test. The hypothesis submission was done using t-test. The result of the research shows that there are significant effects of cooperative learning method toward students’ mathematics learning result especially on the plane figure subject on the seventh-grade students of the private junior high school in South Tangerang.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the increase of science learning outcomes in grade VII students using the model of learning Think Pair and Share at SMPN 241 Jakarta. The research method used is the experimental method, by taking the number of samples each group of 30 students, taken by using simple random sampling technique. The instrument used is a test instrument in the form of multiple choice of 27 questions. Test data analysis requirements performed is the normality test (using the chi-square test) and homogeneity test (using the F-test). Based on the test results of normality experimental data obtained X²hit = 2,517; control class data obtained X²hit = 1,611; where X²hit <X²tab and the result is normally distributed. Homogeneity test obtained by value of both group equal to 1,103 with Fhit <Ftab, and result of data of both group is homogeneous. Based on the result of t-test calculation, the value of tcount 23,04 with dk58 (using linear interpolation) resulted in ttable 1,942. Thus, with thitung> ttabel result H1 accepted and H0 rejected. Thus, there is a significant improvement between the Think Pair and Share learning model of the learning outcome of the IPA.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar-belakangi oleh adanya penguasaan dasar matematika yang kurang, persepsi negatif mahasiswa terhadap mata kuliah kalkulus, kemampuan pemahaman konsep mata kuliah kalkulus yang kurang, serta adanya kenyataan nilai mata kuliah kalkulus yang tidak maksimal pada setiap tahunnya. Tujuan penelitian ini dilakukan adalah untuk mengetahui besar pengaruh penguasaan dasar matematika dan persepsi mahasiswa secara bersama terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep mata kuliah kalkulus. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap mahasiswa program studi pendidikan matematika UNINDRA semester 3, tahun ajaran 2016 / 2017, dengan jumlah sampel 92 orang mahasiswa dari jumlah populasi 119 orang mahasiswa. Jumlah sampel penelitian diperoleh dari rumus Slovin dan diambil dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Pengolahan data penelitian dilakukan dengan komputer menggunakan program SPSS 20 - regresi ganda. Jenis instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah instrumen tes untuk penguasaan dasar matematika yang berjumlah 15 butir, tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep mata kuliah kalkulus 1 berjumlah 5 butir, serta instrumen non-tes berupa pernyataan untuk instrumen persepsi mahasiswa yang berjumlah 30 butir. Tes penguasaan dasar matematika yang berjumlah 15 butir tersebut terdiri dari 5 butir instrumen tes aljabar, 5 butir instrumen tes trigonometri dan 5 butir instrumen tes geometri. Hasil pengolahan data menghasilkan persamaan regresi ganda Y = - 4,313 + 0,086 X1 + 0,145 X2. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari penguasaan dasar matematika dan persepsi mahasiswa terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep mata kuliah kalkulus 1. Hal tersebut dapat dikatakan juga bahwa penguasaan dasar matematika dan persepsi mahasiswa tidak berperan dalam kemampuan pemahaman konsep mata kuliah kalkulus 1.

Abstract

Influence of media usage of projection to learning result of Math, knowing the influence of media usage of projection to student learning result of mathematics. Methods in this study with quasi-experimental methods. Samples were taken by simple random sampling from a population of 110 students by taking 60 respondents who were determined to be experimental class and control class. Data analysis using descriptive statistic method and test technique requirement of data analysis with normality test and homogeneity test. The result of the research shows that the experimental class that is using the projection media has good or higher learning result compared to control class that is using conventional media. So it can be said there is the influence of media usage of projection to result of learning mathematics in wake up flat side room.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the influences of variables of reading interest and learning motivation against students natural sciences achievement. The Research used a survey method with 100 sample students which taken by random sampling among the 8th-grade junior high school students in Sukmajaya district, Depok regency. Data collected with questionnaires that had been validated. The Research used multiple regression paradigms. The data were analyzed with statistic description and hypotheses test and also requirement data tests including normality test, linearity test, multicollinearity test and heteroscedasticity test. The results of the research were: 1) reading interest and learning motivation were together significantly influenced students natural sciences achievement, 2) reading interest was not significantly influenced students sciences achievement 3) learning motivation was significantly influenced students sciences achievement.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the learning approach Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) In SMP Negeri 2 Teluk Jambe Timur. Produce material to analyze the extent to which the pursuit approach has been run in school. To describe CTL learning approach include a) Design of Learning Activities; B) Implementation or Process of Learning Activities; C) Evaluation of learning outcomes. The research method used is descriptive research. In this research, the technique used to collect data is survey technique. The study population is all teachers of SMP Negeri 2 Teluk Jambe Timur that is 31 teachers. Data collection techniques used through the dissemination of questionnaires that have been tested for validity and reliability. The results showed that; The implementation of a contextual learner approach in SMP Negeri 2 Teluk Jambe Timur has been implemented at 71 percent or has an average grade of 2.85. Also, 29 percent or 1.15 is influenced by other learning approaches. In the first indicator, modeling has an average value of 2.59 or 64.75 percent has been implemented by teachers at school. In the second question indicator (Questioning) has an average grade of 3.02 or 75.5 percent has been implemented by teachers in school. In the third indicator, the Learning community has an average grade of 3.17 or 79.25 percent has been implemented by school teachers. In the fourth indicator, the inquiry (find) has an average value of 2.55 or 63.75 percent has been implemented by teachers in the school. In the fifth indicator of Constructivism has an average value of 3.19 or 79.25 percent has been implemented by teachers in school. On the sixth indicator, Reflection has an average grade of 3.44 or 86 percent has been implemented by school teachers. On the seventh indicator, Authentic Assessment has an average grade of 2.68 or 67 percent been implemented by school teachers.

Abstract

The purposes of this study are to know: 1) the influence of Jigsaw type cooperative learning model on. 2) the influence of emotional intelligence on mathematics learning outcomes. 3) The interaction between jigsaw type cooperative learning model and emotional intelligence on mathematics learning outcomes. This study is a quantitative research with the experimental method. The statistical test performed is Two Way ANOVA. The samples taken are 60 people with random technique sampling. The results of this study are: 1) there is the influence of learning methods on the learning of mathematics at 5% error level with significant value is 0,023. 2) there is no effect of emotional intelligence on mathematics learning result at 5% error level with significant value is 0,123. 3) there is no interaction between learning method and emotional intelligence to mathematics learning result at 5% error level with significant value 0,286.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa.Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode eksperimen. Sampel dalam penelitian ini diambil dengan teknik simple random sampling dengan jumlah 60 orang terdiri dari 30 kelas eksperimen yang diajarkan menggunakan Jigsaw dan 30 kelas kontrol yang diajarkan menggunakan Think Pair Share (TPS). Instrumen untuk pengambilan data berupa tes uraian. Uji normalitas data menggunakan Chi-Kuadrat dan uji homogenitas menggunakan uji Fisher. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji-t, menunjukkan thitung = 2,286 > ttabel = 2,002 dengan =0,05yang menyatakan bahwa H0 ditolak, sehingga dapat di simpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis peserta didik yang diajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran Jigsaw dan Think Pair Share (TPS). Dengan demikian terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis peserta didik.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the difficulties of learning what are the natural students of class XI SMA Batik 1 Surakarta on the material statistics the size of the central tendency of group data, what causes the difficulty of learning students class XI SMA Batik 1 Surakarta on the material statistics the size of the central tendency of group data and how the alternative Solving the results of the analysis of learning difficulties on the statistical matter of the size of the central tendency of group data. The method used is literature study. Alternative results for students who have difficulty in understanding the concept is to apply learning contextual approach is learning that aims to motivate students to understand the meaning of the material in the learning by associating with the context of everyday life such as knowing the average of a value of repetition, know mode (value Which many students get) from a repetition so that learning will be memoras and remembered by students and for students who have difficulty application of formulas and solutions is the alternative given is to multiply the exercise questions and need for the elaboration of what is known and can be from where. When students are accustomed to such things then students will be easy in applying the formula and solve the problem correctly.
