Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar minat belajar anak dan bagaimana karakter anak dalam model pendidikan home schooling. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian survei yang dilakukan pada anak-anak yang melaksanakan pendidikan nonformal. Subjek penelitian ini adalah anak-anak yang mengikuti model pendidikan  home schooling yang tersebar di Jabodetabek (Jakarta,  Bogor, Depok, Tanggerang, dan Bekasi) sejumlah 45 orang. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik wawancara dan kuesioner. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik analisis induktif. Berdasarkan  hasil penelitian ini dapat diketahui secara deskriptif bahwa mayoritas anak memiliki  karakter yang tidak terlalu tinggi atau rendah dengan persentase hasil indikator instrumen masih dalam tata-rata di bawah tujuh puluh persen (70%). Secara deskriptif mayoritas anak memiliki minat belajar yang tidak terlalu tinggi atau minat belajar rendah dengan persentase hasil indikator instrumen masih dalam rata-rata di bawah enam puluh lima persen (65%).    Kata Kunci: minat belajar dan karakter anak CHILDREN’S LEARNING MOTIVATION AND CHARACTER  IN A HOME SCHOOLING EDUCATION MODEL IN JABODETABEK Abstract: This research study aimed to describe the extent of the children’s motivation and how their  character was like in a home schooling education model. This was a survey study involving 45 children joining nonformal education spread all over Jabodetabek (Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi).  The data were collected by using interviews and questionnaires. An inductive analysis technique  was employed in this study. Based on the results of the analysis, the study concluded that the majority of the children’s score of their character was considered not high yet, as shown by the ave- rage instrument indicator-based score below 70%. Descriptively the majority of the children’s learning motivation was even lower, with the average instrument indicator-based score below 65%.   Keywords: learning motivation, character

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has forced us to make habits that we never imagined before. This also triggers changes in the learning system from primary education to higher education. One of the changes in the education system is the distance learning system (PJJ). In this condition, teachers must quickly adjust the new policies issued by the government, namely by learning activities and teaching students from home to prevent the spread of COVID-19. One of the efforts to do so that learning runs effectively is the blended learning method. Blended learning combines computer and internet technology offered by online learning and face-to-face learning participation to provide the most effective and efficient experience. Using the correct learning methods, overcoming learning obstacles due to COVID-19 can be overcome. With the blended learning method, students learn independently, and teachers can continue to explain the subject matter using learning media such as the internet.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop teaching materials mathematics in the form of Student Worksheet (LKS) for learners tunagrahita. To develop the instructional media the Instructional Development Model was developed which consisted of several steps: at the beginning of the study identifying instructional needs, both doing instructional analysis, identifying the three behaviors and the initial characteristics of the learner, the four writing the specific instructional objectives, the fifth composing the results assessment tool, the sixth formulate instructional strategies, seventh develop instructional materials, evaluate and revise eighth. Based on the analysis and discussion, the development of LKS is suitable for supporting the learning of mathematics of the students of tunagrahita. It is based on the test results of Language experts, development experts, material experts and psychologists. In experimental language test results, the teaching material is declared good because the explanatory text in the teaching materials is easy to understand. In the test results 2 development experts stated good teaching materials with a percentage of 83.3% and 73.3% respectively. In the test results 2 material experts declared good teaching materials with a percentage of 85% and 81.7% respectively. While the test of psychology experts both stated good teaching materials with 80% percentage.

Abstract

Using Domino Card prop on Mathematics Achievement. This research aims to determine the effect of using domino card prop on mathematics achievement. This research was conducted in one of the public elementary schools in Depok. The number of samples in this research as many as 40 students were divided into two groups. 20 students belong to experiment group that taught using domino card prop, while 20 other students included in the control group is taught using conventional teaching aids. Sampling technique used in this research is a random sampling tecnique, where each population has the same chance to be sampled. The analysis technique used in this research is descriptive statistics, which states that the results are the average results of mathematics on higher grade than the control group. In this research, also conducted the data analysis prerequisite test is a test of normality and homogeneity test. Of the prerequisite test on the result that both the data were normally distributed and homogeneous. Test data analysis used with the result that the t test is greater than t table which means that there is significant effect of using domino card prop on mathematics achievement.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze whether there were influence of using Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) learning model on the mathematics problem solving ability of the student class VII SMPN 154 Jakarta. The method used is a quasi method experiments with post test only design is the design used to identify the effects of RME learning model on student’s mathematics problem solving ability after given special treatment and controlled. Based on the result of hypotheses  test with t test, it showed that t test = 2. 835 and t table = 2.025 in significance level at 5 % or ? = 0.05, it means ttest> ttable (2.835 > 2.025), so H0 was rejected and H1 Was accepted, and there are significant impacts of RME on mathematics problem solving ability.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan: 1)mengetahui pengaruh kemampuan berpikir kritis, adversity quotient dan locus of control terhadap prestasi belajar matematika secara bersama-sama, 2)mengetahui pengaruh kemampuan berpikir kritis terhadap prestasi belajar matematika, 3)mengetahui pengaruh adversity quotient terhadap prestasi belajar matematika, dan 4)mengetahui pengaruh locus of control terhadap prestasi belajar matematika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Uji statistik yang digunakan yaitu regresi ganda. Jumlah sampel dari penelitian ini sebanyak 58 mahasiswa yang dipilih dengan menggunakan technique random sampling. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu 1)terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara kemampuan berpikir kritis, adversity quotient dan locus of control terhadap prestasi belajar matematika secara bersama-sama sebesar 73,5%; 2)terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara kemampuan berpikir kritis terhadap prestasi belajar matematika sebesar 24,07%; 3)tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara adversity quotient terhadap prestasi belajar matematika; 4)terdapat pengaruh yang sigifikan antara locus of control terhadap prestasi belajar matematikasebesar 44,37%.

Abstract

The aim of the research: 1) the effect of learning method on mathematics achievement, 2) the effect of learning motivation on mathematics achievement, 3) interaction of learning method and learning motivation on mathematics achievement. It is quantitative research with experimental research. This research compared two classes with two different methods. The first class is an experiment class which was thought by cooperative learning method type STAD, whereas the second class is control class which was though by conventional learning method. This research was conducted in Taruna Bhakti Vocational High School, the amount of sample is 64 learners. Statistic was used in this research was two way ANOVA and continued with tukei test. The result of this research: 1) students’ mathematics achievement with cooperative learning method is greater than conventional method, 2) students’ mathematics achievement with high motivation is greater than less motivation, 3) there was interaction between learning method and motivation on mathematics achievement.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh resiliensi matematis terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei korelasional, yang dilakukan pada peserta didik kelas IX di SMP Insan Nur Muhammad Bogor tahun ajaran 2019/2020. Sampel diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling sebanyak 35 responden. Instrumen pengumpulan data dengan penyebaran angket untuk mengukur resiliensi matematis dan kemampuan komunikasi matematis menggunakan instrumen tes. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis terlebih dahulu dengan uji persyaratan analisis, yaitu uji normalitas dan uji linieritas. Setelah uji persyaratan analisis data terpenuhi, dilakukan analisis inferensial. Untuk pengujian hipotesis penelitian dengan menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa, Fhitung > Ftabel (4,48 > 4,13), dapat disimpulkan bahwa pada taraf signifikan 5% terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan resiliensi matematis terhadap komunikasi matematis.

Abstract

This research aims to know the improvement in students’ mathematical disposition skill after performing student’s activity-based learning. The research is a quantitative research with a comparative approach. The statistical test used is t-test. The sample of this research consists of 70 students selected by employing a random sampling technique. Every sample is then similarly treated with two tests. First test or pretest is given before the samples are taught using a concept of student’s activity-based learning and the second test or posttest is provided after the samples are taught using a concept of student’s activity-based learning. The result of the research shows the improvement in students’ mathematical disposition skill after performing student’s activity-based learning. It is as proven in the t-test result, in which tobserved > ttable, namely 14.41 > 1.67 with significant level of 5%.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the development of learning media 3D cartoon. The method used Research and Development method (research and development), but more focused on development process using ADDIE method. Stages of development in this research begin by analyzing the needs, designing, creating 3D learning media cartoon after it is applied and then tested the experts. The results showed that the media developed has met the eligible and eligible to be used as a medium of learning 3D cartoon subject matter numbers. This is seen from the results of content validation, and the effectiveness of product by material experts of 94% expressed very well. For languages and communications are easily understood to get 91% percentage, media aspect of 83%, appearance, quality and effectiveness of media by design learning experts of 93% expressed very well. So it can be concluded that 3D learning media cartoon is feasibly used in learning.
