Abstract

The demands of the learning process must be interesting, so new innovations are needed. Education is currently in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, so one of the alternatives that the government currently uses in the learning process is online and offline learning, or what we usually call blended learning. Many people think of mathematics as a difficult subject to learn. The purpose of this research is to create interesting learning media using applications and use learning videos to arouse students' interest in learning mathematics. The research approach used in this study is R&D and the ADDIE product development model. First year students from the Mathematics Education Study Program of STKIP Muhammadiyah Kalabahi are the subjects of this learning video. Questionnaires and working papers were used to collect data. The results shows that the validity is successful in terms of media and material validation as well as student responses. The learning videos can already be used by teachers when the teaching and learning process is carried out through a problem-based model.

Abstract

The development of science and technology is developing so rapidly that teachers have to keep abreast of technological developments in learning. This study aims to develop a product in the form of interactive media articulating contextual-based storylines on ecosystem material for fifth-grade students that is valid and practice. This type of research is research and development which is carried out through the ADDIE model. The research stages of the ADDIE model include Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. The main technique in this study is the validity and practicality analysis of interactive media. The data is then processed through quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques. The results of the assessment of the validity of the interactive media are obtained with an average value of 76% which is in the valid category. The results of the teacher's practicality assessment show an average score of 80% which is in the practical category. Assessment of the value of practicality by students is obtained with an average value of 89.9% in the very practical category. Based on the results of this study, the product of this research development in the form of contextual-based articulate storyline interactive media on ecosystem material for fifth-grade students was declared to have met the validity and practicality categories so that this product could be used by teachers and students in classroom learning.

Abstract

The rapid spread of the Covid-19 infection requires all learning to switch from face-to-face learning to online learning to break the chain of infection transmission. This learning does not fully run smoothly due to limitations and the availability of supporting media. Not all educators and students have an understanding of using internet media. only google meet is fast to use for distance learning. The Google Meet application provides features that support the implementation of bold learning, is free and uses web quota that is more efficient or more stable. Which aims to be a place for learning that is carried out online learning during the covid. This of course makes it easier for students (students and students) to access Google Meet compared to other media platforms. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using Google Meet as a learning medium during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used is a qualitative method, namely by obtaining an in-depth understanding, developing theory, describing how the Google Meet application works. The data collected beforehand was directly in class, while the case of Covid 19 could not collect data directly. Research shows that Google Meet was very effective in being used in the teaching process during the Covid 19 period, because it was very easy to access and there was no need to pay and can be used anywhere and anytime.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to get a factual explanation of the teacher's understanding in carrying out assessments in the independent curriculum. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive survey research approach. Survey research steps are divided into 4 stages, namely preparation, data collection, data analysis, and drawing conclusions. The sample in this study consisted of 23 teachers and principals of class 1 driving schools in Riau province who came from Siak, Indragiri Hilir and Dumai districts. The data in this study were collected using a reflection questionnaire at the assessment and learning workshop. The results of the research show that principals and teachers tend to be able to take advantage of reflection on workshop activities to improve the techniques and methods they use in conducting assessments and learning. Through reflection activities at the mobilizing school workshop, it is hoped that it can contribute to teachers and principals in making appropriate assessments based on the learning process that has been implemented.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of the reading guide method on learning motivation in social studies subjects, to determine the influence of the reading guide method on student learning outcomes in social studies subjects, and to determine the influence of the reading guide method on learning motivation and student learning outcomes in social studies subjects at SMP Negeri 1 Gempol, Cirebon Regency.This research is a quantitative research. The design of this study Quasi experimented using the nonequivalent posttest-onty control group design. The study population was 15 students from class IX H and 15 students from class IX I, totaling 30 students selected through random sampling. The instruments used in this study were in the form of tests, questionnaires, observations of learning activities and documentation. The results of this study show that, there is an influence of the reading guide method on learning motivation in social studies subjects with a Sig value of 0.003, there is an influence of the reading guide method on student learning outcomes in social studies subjects with a sig value of 0.012, and there is an influence of the reading guide method on learning motivation and student learning outcomes in social studies subjects with a p value (sig) of 0.451. this means that student learning motivation and learning outcomes are influenced by the reading guide method.
