Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of job involvement and organizational support on organizational commitment, job involvement examine the influence, organizational support and organizational commitment to performance and examine the effect of organizational commitment as a variable that mediates the effect of job involvement and organizational support. The research object is Semarang State Polytechnic lecturer. To explain the concept of variable work engagement and organizational support on organizational commitment and its impact on the performance of the lecturer then developed a research model that explains the causal relationship over these variables. The study population was tenured faculty status as civil servants (PNS) in Semarang State Polytechnic much as 352 people, with purposive sampling method sampling a total of 100 respondents were distributed, and the data of 100 questionnaires were analyzed using the data Testing analaysis regression. Mediation test done to prove that organizational commitment as a variable that mediates the effect of job involvement and support of the hypothesis being tested proven organizational. All accepted, namely that job involvement and organizational support positive significant effect on organizational commitment, job involvement, organizational support and organizational commitment have a significant effect positively to the performance of the sig (probablity significancy) is smaller than the error rate (alpha) which has been determined, that is equal to 5%. Test mediation does not prove that organizational commitment as a variable that mediates the effect of job involvement and organizational support.

Abstract

The background of this research is more and more consumers are turning to shop at the minimarket from the market tradisional. This indicates the tendency of consumers who see that the minimarket is more suitable to by needs. The Research aims to determine the effect of the service and location where Visual Merchandising as a variable can strengthen specific purchasing decisions konsumen. This study aims to provide a solution to increase the number of consumers amid increasingly fierce competition minimarket. The results showed that service quality has a positive and significant impact on purchasing decisions, location positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions, quality of service is getting stronger influence on purchase decisions when driven by the Visual Merchandising, Location stronger influence on purchase decisions when driven by the Visual merchandising.

Abstract

Purchase decision is a decision for possession of an act of two or more alternative options. Many factors can influence the purchasing decisions of consumers of a product, such as product, price and promotion. Consumer purchasing decisions could be made of many products, one of which is food. This is because basically everyone needs food as supply enough energy to be able to perform daily activities.One of the food it is Mie Jakarta 69. Although it’s been promoted, Mie Jakarta 69 still under another noodle products. The possibility of a marketing strategy that is used through product, price, and promotion is not yet effective, so purchasing decisions against Mie Jakarta 69 still low. The location of this research is the way of MT. Haryono No. 914 B Semarang. While the respondent chosen is consumers who make purchases on the streets of Mie Jakarta 69 of MT. Haryono No. 914 B Semarang. The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of product, price, and promotion of the purchase decision.Population in this research is consumers who makes a purchase Mie Jakarta 69 which is unknown definite . A sample in this research is partly consumers who makes a purchase Mie jakarta 69 Semarang number 96 respondents . The data in this research is primer and the method use questionnaire. The technique analysis is multiple regression. Results of analysis using SPSS Version 13 shows that:1. The product influential towards purchasing decision significantly2. The price influential towards purchasing decision significantly3. The promotion influential towards purchasing decision significantly4. The product, price and promotion influential towards purchasing decision significantlyThe big influence between product, price and promotion towards purchasing decision is 66,8 % ( Adjusted R Square = 0,668 )

Abstract

This research aims to find out how the influence of the environmental performance and the level of disclosure of Sustainability Report to investors in the period around the date of the publication of the report PROPER and Sustainability Report on the mining and manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). In this study an indicator that is used to author the PROPER ranking of environmental performance, to measure Sustainability Report disclosure there is an indicator of economic performance, environmental performance and social performance. As for the indicators used to measure the reaction of investors represented by the Cumulative Abnormal Return. The methods used in this research is descriptive and verifikatif methods. The population of this research is a company manufacturing and mining were listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2009-2010. Based on purposive sampling technique was then taken as many as 15 of the sample company. Statistical analysis used was multiple linear regression. The test results of the three hypotheses are: the first that environmental performance does not have a positive influence on investor reaction, the latter of which States that the disclosure of Sustainability Report has no effect on the reaction of investors was positive, and the third States that the environmental performance and Sustainability Report disclosure simultaneously have no effect on the reaction of investors on the company’s manufacturing and mining are registered on the IDX.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the influence of organizational culture and organizational commitment on motivation and job satisfaction in Semarang State Polytechnic . The aim of this research model examines the effect of organizational culture on motivation, organizational commitment on motivation, organizational culture on job satisfaction, organizational commitment on job satisfaction, job satisfaction and motivation.The population is all Semarang State Polytechnic lecturer who totaled 352 employees. Sample selection techniques using purposive sampling with a sample of 100 people examined. The method used in data collection questionnaire (questionnaire) were given to the respondents. Tests on the research done by the test instrument validity (factor analysis) and the coefficient alpha reliability test, statistical test equipment being used is multiple regression analysis, the R2 test and t-test to test the significance of regression coefficients were generated and mediation test to prove motivation as mediating variables.The results showed that organizational culture and organizational commitment in a positive and significant effect on the motivation of Semarang State Polytechnic lecturer, organizational culture, organizational commitment and motivation in a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction Semarang State Polytechnic lecturer. The results of the study also proves that the variable of organizational commitment has a dominant influence on the increased motivation and job satisfaction. Mediation test results prove that motivation does not mediate the influence of organizational culture and organizational commitment on job satisfaction.

Abstract

The background of this research is the declining quality of UKM products . This indicates that UKM can not win the trust and loyalty of consumers . In general, this study aimed to determine the effect of the Product Quality to Consumer Loyalty in which the Trust as an intervening variable. Specifically , this research aims to improve the competitiveness of UKM . Research data collection techniques by means of spreading consumer questionnaire systematically arranged with several possible answers were easy to understand . Distribution of the questionnaire by means of a direct encounter conducted in the period February to March 2014 with a sample of some 82 people. Then the data were collected through a questionnaire to test the data analyst; validity and reliability, followed by a simple regression analysis and multiple regression analysis. The results of the study demonstrate that 1 ) There is a positive and significant effect between the product quality to consumer trust. 2 ) Trust positive and significant impact on consumer loyalty . 3 ) The results also prove that the product quality indirect effect on loyalty to the trust as intervening.

Abstract

This research examines the effect of corporate governance mechanism towards earnings management to evaluate financial performances of banking industries in Indonesia. This research use purposive sampling method in banking industries listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2008 until 2012. Research sample consist of 14 banking companies. This research use multiple regression method. Dependent variable is financial performances, independent variable is corporate governance mechanism, and intervening variable is earnings management. The result of this research shows that (1) corporate governance mechanisms towards earnings management are having significant influence only for insitusional ownership proxy, (2) earnings management are not having significant influence towards financial performances, (3) corporate governance mechanisms that intervened by earnings management are not having significant influence toward financial performances.
