Abstract

"> This study examines the effect of independent variables are reporting corporate social responsibility ( CSR ) environmental dimensions , social, and economy, on the dependent variable of stock returns by partially or simultaneously. The study was conducted on 3 months period before and after the publication of the annual report in 2012 . The object of the research is a company listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange and publish the annual report . Samples were taken as many as 50 companies , with a business group in the fields of Agriculture , Mining , Basic Industry and Chemicals , Miscellaneous Industry , and Consumer Goods . Data were tested with eviews program. Test results show the following : CSR partial test showed variable environmentis negatively affect to the stock return , positive effect on the CSR economy, and CSR social positively influence on stock return . The results of the simultaneous test of CSR environment , social , and economy , together influential on stock return . This shows that the company is already implementing the overall dimensions of CSR ( environment , economy , and social ) will increase the company’s stock return visits of cummulative Abnormal Return indicator .

Abstract

This research aims to test the effect of the use of management accounting system (MAS) to the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) management performance moderating with interdepence unit. This research use survey method with sampel is Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Kabupaten Rembang, with cluster sampling obtained sample 186 SMEs. Analysis of the data using linear regression moderating. Result of research refer that management accounting system (MAS) have an influence on positive to SMEs management performance. This suggest that SAM an influence to performance management (SMEs) stronger when moderated by interdependence.

Abstract

Companies (including SMEs) is required to be able to maintain its existence and face the forces or factors of competition (five forces) that is a competitor in the same company, bargaining power of suppliers, bargaining power of buyers, threat of new entrants and threat of substitute products (Porter, 1996). Therefore, the company should have adequate management and strategy. This means that the company must have a competitive advantage, among others, in the areas of technology, product quality, quality of personnel, capital, price, cost-efficient and satisfactory service quality.The purpose of this study was (a). analyze the effect of networking on market entry strategy quality; (b). analyze the effect of marketing on the completeness of information quality and market entry strategy (c). analyze the effect of market entry strategy to marketing quality performance of SMEs in Semarang. While the Research Contributions (a). Provide feedback to the SME entrepreneurs in Semarang in improving marketing performance through increased market entry strategy for quality; (b) Provide feedback to the Government of Semarang in determining the policies / regulations to encourage the development of a product business, especially SMEs; and (c) To contribute in the field of scientific marketing strategies (marketing strategy) that proved empirically. This research is exploratory, descriptive and causal, which requires the support of research, testing and development of the conceptualization of the latest facts. The population of this study are the owner or manager of SMEs in Semarang. Data analysis techniques: (a). Descriptive analysis to determine the general perception of respondents regarding the variables studied; (b). Hypothesis testing is performed with multiple regression is used to test the structural equation model (SEM).The research results showed that the completeness of the information networking and marketing a positive effect on quality Market entry strategy. Market entry strategy for quality also has positive influence on Marketing Performance. This study failed to find that Market entry strategy can also affect the quality Performance Marketing. It can be concluded that SMEs who want to improve their Performance Marketing need to build a better Market entry strategy qualiyt her to reliable by SMEs.

Abstract

This study aims to formulate the developing strategy alternative implemented in Batik Tulis Lasem enterprises. Data analysis used is SWOT Analysis. SWOT matrix result shows that developing strategy for Batik Tulis Lasem industry is SO strategy (agresive strategy), the strategy that uses strength to make use the available opportunity. This strategy implemented marketing line development by exploiting networking, developing quality control and improving productivity using modern technology.

Abstract

This research examine which corporate governance mechanism can effect Timeline of Corporate Internet Reporting by listed companies on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. Independent variables in this study are firm characteristics (firm size, type of bussiness, profitability, leverage, liquidity, issuance of stock) and corporate governance variables (public ownership structure, proportion of supervisory board and supervisory board size) to investigate the influence on the timeliness of CIR. Population sample in this study was taken from Indonesian companies listed in 2012 at Indonesian Stock Exchange. Hypotesis analysis using Multiple regression. Based on the result of analysis showed that all variables simultaniously influence the timeliness of CIR. Only firm size that influence the timeliness of CIR.

Abstract

This paper attempts to analyze return of Rupiah’s exchange rate to US Dollar. Data is taken from Rupiah/US Dollar exchange rate return form period 2003 to 2013. Analyses are conducted in two ways, first analyzing events that could caused volatility shocks in the observation period. Second, analyzing quantitatively with some models which fit to calculate volatility, they are GARCH, GJR and EGARCH. The result of GARCH analysis concludes that return of Rupiah/US Dollar exchange rate is affected by current exchange rates. Further, those returns also depend on the last period returns. On the other hand, shocks in the volatility of Rupiah/US Dollar persistently occurred. Then, from the analysis uses GJR and EGARCH concluded that positive shocks have greater effect to the conditional return of Rupiah to US Dollar than negative shocks in the future. The strengthen of US Dollar or the weaken of Rupiah will cause greater volatility in the future than the weaken of Rupiah or the strengthen of Dollar in the equivalent level.

Abstract

Furniture crisis make almost all furniture entrepreneurs in Jepara have the influences. Woods prices and others material’s have increasing, but in the other side it is not supported by the increasing sales prices because the customers didn’t want to increase the price so it will reduce their income. Crisis became a burden to women entrepreneur. Women entrepreneurs have a double role, in their occupation and in their household. In this paper we try to examine the influence of furniture to the family of women entrepreneur. That is education, health, food pattern, and relationship between family member, family consumption degree and others.This paper is using the qualitative methods. Population includes all women entrepreneur in Jepara regency. We took the sample by using snowball sampling. Based on survey we found 20 respondents, that include craftsman, sawmill, broker on local (domestic) or export.This paper result that women entrepreneur may survive on furniture crisis depends on size of their company, their personal skills and product sales destiny. For example: export to Europe has reduced, but in the other side export to Malaysia were increased. The other result that during furniture crisis, the women entrepreneurs still gave priority to education of their children’s, although how hard is. The other factors as health, food pattern, and family consumption degree a little bit reduced. For the recreation their still did that but with specific limits. The relationship between family members became not to harmonic.

Abstract

The Purpose of this research to examine taxpayer compliance. Model of taxpayer compliance is tested with tax collection with a letter of reprimand and forced letter. Specifically, this research examines, (1) the effect of the tax collection compliance with the letter of reprimand against corporate taxpayers, (2) the effect of the tax collection forced letter to taxpayer compliance.The variables used in this study is the collection of tax with a letter of reprimand, forced letter of tax collection and taxpayer compliance. The sample in this research is the Tax Office Primary Middle Semarang The period 2009 to 2013. Sampling method used in this study is purposive sampling method. The method of data analysis used in this study is quantitative method consisting of classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, the coefficient of determination and hypothesis test that using the t test.The results of quantitative analysis using the t test is known that the variable tax collection with a letter of reprimand and a significant positive effect on tax compliance by entities 5,221> t table of values with a significant value of 0,000, the tax collection forced letter positive and significant effect of 2,380 > of value t table with a significant value of 0,021.
