Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know about 1) how to improve knowledge scoring instrument in theme of grade 5 elementary school; 2) quality knowledge scoring instrument in thematic of grade 5 from analysis the test. The type of this research is Research and Development (R&D) from Borg & Gall that modified by Sukmadinata. This research have 3 procedures, 1) preliminary studies, 2) improve the product, 3) product trial. The subject of this research is Students of grade 5 Dorolegi 1 elementary school, 1 Ketangirejo elementary school, and 1 Sindurejo elementary School in Grobogan. The type of data used primer from test technique that was multiple choice instrument. Analysis technique used classic items. The results of the study show that 1) how to improve knowledge scoring instrument used theme, KI,KD, Indicators of Competence Achievement, measuring instrument, grid, item, trial 1, trial 1, revision 1, trial 2, item 2 analysis, revision 2, trial 3, item 3 analysis, determine final product. 2) Instrument of the multiple choices item consisted of 42 items. From a classic analysis, the items have validity r>0,20, medium reliable reliability 0,25<P<0,75, distinguishing power received P<0,20, bleach power 59,5% works very well and 40,5% bleach power works well. Over that, knowledge scoring instrument in theme 6 heat and displacement of grade 5 suitable for use as a good instrument

Abstract

The attitude of students' disinterest and the inaccuracy of the teacher in choosing techniques or learning methods for learning to write poetry, it is necessary to research effective learning techniques for learning to write poetry. This study also aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of word series techniques in improving the ability to write creative poetry. The results showed a significant difference in the posttest scores of creative writing poetry of the control group and experimental group students. In the control group there were 6 students who got low scores, 29 students got medium scores, and 2 students got high scores. In the experimental group there were 2 students who got low scores, 18 students got medium scores, and 15 students got high scores. This shows that there are significant differences in the ability to write creative poetry between the control group and the experimental group. The t-test results of the pretest and posttest scores of the experimental group produced a tcount of 2007 with a df of 35 and a table of 0.13 at a significance level of 5%. This shows that the effective word series technique is used in learning to write poetry because the value of t-count <-table (-2.007 <- 0.13).

Abstract

Mathematics is a science that has a very important role for human life. Mathematics contributes greatly, ranging from simple to complex, ranging from abstract to concrete for problem solving in all fields. The lack of student interest in learning and the low value of students is only 24% successful in mathematics, especially in integer count operations in SDN 1 Sukamenanti, and 76% are still below the KKM. Therefore, it is necessary to improve learning that can improve learning outcomes, motivation and create a conducive learning atmosphere. The purpose of this study is to improve mathematics learning outcomes, especially the material operation of integer counts through the STAD method in class VI students at SDN 1 Sukamenanti Kedaton District Bandar Lampung City Academic Year 2018/2019. The results of the improvement of the learning cycle I showed that by using the STAD model of mathematics learning outcomes in students in class VI experienced an increase in the average value of 60.41 with mastery learning by 52.38%. The results of the improvement of the second cycle of learning, an increase that is getting higher is the average value obtained by 71.19 with the achievement of mastery learning by 71.43%. And the results of the improvement of learning cycle III, there was a very high increase in the average value obtained by 86.67 with the achievement of mastery learning by 90.47%. Based on the results of the above analysis it can be concluded that the use of the STAD Model can improve mathematics learning outcomes of the KPK and FPB material in class VI SDN 1 Sukamenanti Kedaton District Bandar Lampung City Academic Year 2018/2019.

Abstract

Education is a substantial field for human life because education can encourage the improvement of human quality both in the form of knowledge, attitudes, and skills. It seems that in this day morals are declining due to the lack of serious attention in education. In nowadays, education expects students not only to have cognitive embedded in their self, but also to have noble manners and morals. This research aims to determine the importance of manners and morals of a student towards his teacher. On the other hands, manners and character play a very important role in the blessing of the knowledge gained by students. The method used in this research is the library method with a qualitative approach. From this research, it was found that manners and morals are two important things in the learning process. How a student should focus on his studies, align his intentions and humble himself and be obedient to his teacher is important for students. In the quran surah al-kahfi verses 64-70 have also been told the importance of manners and morals of a student. Indeed, the prominent of manners and morals can be used as a reflection of a student in seeking knowledge.

Abstract

The problems raised in this study relate to the ability to write short stories by taking into account the intrinsic elements of the even semester of SMK PGRI 2 Bandar Lampung. Know the causal factors for student difficulties and find out the most prominent difficulties experienced by students. The research method used in order to achieve the research objectives is the quantitative descriptive method. The research population was 125 with a sample of 25. Data collection techniques used short story writing assignment techniques. Data analysis was carried out with quantitative quantitative analysis. Based on the results of data analysis that has been done, it can be concluded that the results of research on cepen's writing ability in class X even semester SMK PGRI 2 Bandar Lampung. Based on seven aspects which are indicators in the study, namely: (1). Theme, (2). Background, (3). Figures and Characterizations, (4). Flow, (5). Point of view, (6). Language style, (7). The mandate shows a pretty good ability. Some students have mastered the procedure for writing short stories quite well. The details are stated that the elements that are expressed incorrectly or each other's mistakes occur include: 1. Flow, 2. Background, 3. Angle of view, 4. Style of language, 5 mandates.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini berkaitan dengan kemapuan siswa dalam menulis karya sastra khususnya dalam menulis naskah drama berdasarkan cerpen. Melalui kemampuan menulis naskah drama berdasarkan cerpen ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam bidang sastra khususnya dapat mengubah cerpen menjadi sebuah drama yang sebaik mungkin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana tingkat kemampuan siswa dalam menulis naskah drama berdasarkan cerpen. Untuk mencapai tujuan penelitian tersebut di atas, penulis menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah teknik simple random sampling. Indikator penilaiannya adalah: (1) Tema, (2) Tokoh, (3) Latar, (4) Alur, (5) Dialog, (6) Bahasa, (7) Kreativitas. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh hasil penelitian bahwa kemampuan siswa dalam hal menulis naskah drama dengan tujuh indikator sebagai landasan penilaian, maka hasil atau skor rata-rata yang diperoleh adalah 75 Skor tersebut diperoleh dari perhitungan jumlah skor perolehan.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to find and to obtain a profound understanding of the moral values of the main character in the novel “Ayat-ayat Cinta 1” by Habiburrahman El Shirazy as responded by the sixth semester students of Indonesian Language and Literature Education Department (PBSI) Baturaja University The students’ receptions include: 1) students’ responses to religious moral values, 2) students’ responses to the personal moral values, 3) responses responses to social moral values. The data of this qualitative research were obtained through closed questionnaires and interviews. The data collection procedure was done by determining the respondents who have read and understood the novel, spreading the questionnaire, and then conducting the interview, collecting the data, classifying the data, and eventually analyzing the data. The result of the research revealed that the religious moral value of the main character is considered good with the percentage of 9,3%. In addition, the personal and social moral values ??are also considered good with the percentage of 9,0%, and 9,6% respectively. The moral values of the main character may become good examples for the students to develop a strong character in religious, personal, and social moral values.

Abstract

Penelitian tindakan ini dilatar belakangi oleh permasalahan kurangnya aktivitas siswa dalam belajarsosiologi khusunya materi Integrasi dan reintegrasi sebagai upaya pemecahan masalah konflik dan integraasi hal ini menyebabkan rendahnya hasil belajar sosiologi siswa di kelas XI IPS 6 SMA Negeri 5 Kota Jambi. Faktor penyebabnya adalah guru selama ini banyak menggunakan metode ceramah, dan kurangnya penggunaan model–model pembelajaran menyebabkan siswa tidak aktif dalam belajar, aktivitas siswa dalam bertanya Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan guru siswa yang berani bertanya dan menjawab dalam belajar dan diskusi kelas hanya sebesar 20% dan 25 % dari 40 orang siswa. Sebagian besar siswa menunjukkan sikap pasif kurang semangat, melamun, kurang memperhatikan, berbicara ketika guru sedang menjelaskan materi dan menunjukkan sikap yang tidak relevan dengan situasi pembelaaran Hasil belajar siswa rendah. Dari hasil ulangan harian siswa yang tuntas mencapai KKM hanya 47%. Siswa yang tidak tuntas sebesar 53 % .KKM untuk mata pelajaran sosiologi 68 . Hal ini menunjukkan preastasi belajar siswa rendah Penelitian ini dilaksnakan melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Gagnon and Colay untuk melihat peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar sosiologi siswa di kelas XI IPS 6 Semester II SMA Negeri 5 Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana keterlaksanaan tindakan dan proses hasilnya. Aktivitas siswa dikategorikan pada siklus I cukup siklus II baik siklus III baik sekali. siklus I nilai rata-rata sebesar 64,50 siklus II meningkat 74,75 siklus III meningkat 88,25. Terjadi peningkatan siswa yang tuntas 16 orang siklus I tuntas 25 orang siklus II meningkat 39 orang siklus III. Ketuntasan kelas mengalami peningkatan siklus I sebesar 40% siklus II 62.50% siklus III meningkat 97.50%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar sosiologi konsep Integrasi dan reintegrasi sosial melalui penerapan model Pembelajaran Gagnon and Collay. siswa di kelas XI IPS 6 Semester II SMAN 5 Kota Jambi

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the improvement of learning outcomes in narrative writing in English. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung kls XI IPA 5 semester 2. The research was carried out in 3 cycles, each cycle consisting of 4 stages, namely planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. Research indicators for student activities are if 90% of students are already active in learning activities, while indicators for student learning outcomes are if 85%; students have received a minimum score of 70 in accordance with the Minimum Completeness Criteria. The results showed that: (1) In cycle I, only 50% of students were active in learning activities, the activities of these students increased to 100% in cycles II and III. (2) Learning outcomes also show an increase. In the first cycle, only 39% of students had reached a value of 70. This learning outcome increased in cycle II to 74% and in cycle III 92%.

Abstract

Reading is the process of receiving information and knowledge for a better life. Reading habits should be formed by the environment. Village is the smallest environment of a country and it has a significant influence in formed a habits of their society. Cultivating Reading Culture is expected to be a good national character. The reading level of the Indonesian people is still very low and therefore a method is needed in cultivating a reading culture. Based on the other and prevous study reading motivation influences the culture of reading and reading habits. Therefor, it is crusial to find out model of teaching or motivate students or children’s to read. In order to follow up research on reading culture and support the government in finding methods to cultivate the reading culture of Indonesian people starting from remote area so that they are able to play an active role in releasing their backwardness, this research is carried out. This research was conducted in Lubuk Pauh Village, BTS ULU District, Musi Rawas Regency, South Sumatra. This study involved 206 village children who were under 15 years of age that randomly divided into two, the treatment group and the control group. Treatment is carried out for 16 meetings. The reading model by using children's books can improve children's reading culture in remote areas by looking at the enthusiasm of children and parents towards the implementation of activities.
