Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the brain gym on the level of concentration in children's learning in fourth-grade elementary school students at SDN Cimalaka II, Cimalaka District, Sumedang Regency. The research method used is a quasi-experimental design using one group pre-test and post-test design. The results showed that the average level of learning concentration in fourth-grade elementary school students before the brain gym was done was 6.18, with a standard deviation of 1.632. Meanwhile, the intermediate level of learning concentration in fourth-grade elementary school students after brain gym is done 7.01 with a standard deviation of 1.291. Bivariate analysis showed that the average increase was 7.09, evidenced by a p-value of 0.001 <0.05. In conclusion, the brain gym affects concentration in children's learning in fourth-grade elementary school students at SDN Cimalaka II, Cimalaka District, Sumedang Regency. Abstract

This study aims to determine the difference in the quality of life of COVID-19 patients with Comorbid in the Tanjungpinang City area. The research method uses analytical research with a comparative design. The results of the study were the majority of COVID-19 respondents with comorbid DM: age range 56-65 years 26 (50%), female sex 38 (73.1%), high school education 26 (50%), signs of COVID-19 symptoms (fever, cough, sore throat and shortness of breath) 52 (100%). While the majority of COVID-19 respondents with comorbid HT: age range 56-65 years 21 (26.9%), female sex 27 (51.9%), high school education 23 (44.2%), signs of COVID-19 symptoms (fever, headache) 52 (100%), blood sugar examination when abnormal with 43 people (82.7%). Blood pressure examination of stage 2 hypertension (≥ 140/>90 mmHg) with a total of 26 people (50%). The results of the bivariate analysis of the Mann Whitney test showed that the Value was 0.001 (<0.05). In conclusion, there was a difference in the quality of life. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of lavender aromatherapy on the intensity of menstrual pain (dysmenorrhea) in Level II female students at STIKes YPIB Majalengka. The research method is pre-experimental research with one group pretest-posttest design. The results showed that less than half (35.0%) of menstrual pain intensity before lavender aromatherapy was severe. Less than half (40.0%) of the power of menstrual pain after lavender aromatherapy was moderate. There is an effect of lavender aromatherapy on the intensity of menstrual pain (dysmenorrhea) in second-level female students at STIKes YPIB Majalengka (p = 0.001). In conclusion, lavender aromatherapy affects the intensity of menstrual pain (dysmenorrhea) in female students. Keywords: Lavender Aromatherapy, Dysmenorrhea, Adolescent Girls

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of creativity on the entrepreneurial interest of Stikes Hang Tuah Tanjungpinang students. The method used in this study is a quantitative research method with a causal associative approach. The results of this study indicate that most of the respondents are female, as many as 84 students (75%). Most of the respondents aged 18-20 years were 102 students (91.1%). Bivariate analysis showed that creativity and interest in entrepreneurship obtained a large t-count value from the t-table (10,702 > 1.658) with a p-value of 0.000 <0.05. In conclusion, invention has a positive and significant effect on student entrepreneurship interest at Stikes Hangtuah Tanjungpinang. Keywords: Creativity, Interest in Entrepreneurship

Abstract

This study aims to determine the description of vitamin deficiency and sun exposure to vitamin D deficiency in COVID-19 health workers in Bengkulu City. This research method is a cross-sectional or cross-sectional descriptive study using a survey or exploratory approach. The results showed that the frequency distribution of the characteristics of the research subjects was mostly 40 years old, with the most occupations being nurses. Most of the disease history was allergies, and 75% of the subjects had no history of the disease. A history of positive confirmation of COVID-19 is 16%. The number of subjects with a history of exposure to the sun with appropriate recommendations was 48%, and those with a history of exposure to more than the recommendation were 27%. There are still 24% of subjects who have low sun exposure, which is under 15 minutes. Based on the examination results of vitamin D levels, most of the research subjects who were health workers experienced 59.5% deficiency and 37.8% insufficiency. The relationship between sun exposure and blood Vitamin D3 levels p = 0.175 (fisher exact test) The results of the Kendall's tau_b correlation are r = 0.047, p = 0.722, age vs vitamin D levels are r = 0.246, p = 0.141, and bodyweight vs vitamin D levels D is r=0.312, p = 0.060. Based on the examination results of vitamin D levels, most of the research subjects who were health workers experienced 59.5% deficiency and 37.8% insufficiency. In conclusion, the relationship between sunlight, age, and body weight with vitamin D levels showed that it was not significant, but this indicated that other variables influenced the deficiency state of health workers. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of applying atraumatic care with audiovisuals to reduce or minimize the anxiety of hospitalized children during the COVID-19 pandemic at Harapan and Doa Hospital, Bengkulu City. This research method is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental design. The results showed that the difference in the average decrease in anxiety frequency before and after the intervention was 2,500 with a standard deviation of 1,761, the value of 95% CI (0,652 - 4,348), p-value obtained 0.018 < = 0.05. In conclusion, there is a significant effect on the level of anxiety of preschoolers before and after the audiovisual intervention at Harapan and Doa Hospital Bengkulu City. Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between motivation and supervision with the performance of nurses in implementing infection prevention and control in hospitals in Aceh Province. The research method used was a cross-sectional study. The results showed that motivation and supervision were significantly related to the performance of Infection Prevention and Control Nurses in Banda Aceh City Hospital and Kab. Aceh Besar (P-value < 0.05). In conclusion, the motivation variable, namely the need for achievement, is the most dominant predictor associated with the performance of Infection Prevention and Control Nurses at the Banda Aceh City Hospital and Kab. Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors associated with self-care management in hypertensive patients at the Kabawetan Public Health Center. The method used in this study is a quantitative study with an analytical survey design using a cross-sectional research design. The results showed that from 42 hypertensive patients, the majority of respondents with good self-care management were 24 people (57.1%), 14 people (33.3%) with poor knowledge, 22 people (52.4%) with individual scores. Good, and 25 people (59.5%) with good self-efficacy. The results of the bivariate analysis showed that the p-value <0.05. In conclusion, there is a significant relationship between knowledge, individual values, and self-efficacy with the self-care management of hypertensive patients at the Kabawetan Public Health Center. Abstract

This study aims to analyze career paths and interest in being an intensive nurse and develop problem-solving solutions by conducting interactive discussion activities to disseminate intensive unit services to attract interest in becoming an intensive nurse. The method used is a case study and analysis of results and implementation gaps with a discussion based on the literature review. The results of the career path analysis research, respondents have a D3 nursing education level (90%), 5-8 years of service (87.5%), occupy the last PK level 1-5 years (93.4%) and attend BHD, PPI training, PCNT, BHL/PALS, and basic KMB training (53.3%). Interest in being an intensive nurse (63.3%). Interest in carrying out their respective roles as caregivers, educators, and researchers (60%). In conclusion, some nurses are interested in becoming intensive nurses with the appropriate level of education, tenure, and career level and have attended basic training to become intensive nurses. However, when internal recruitment is carried out to become intensive nurses, few nurses are willing to become intensive nurses, so that still needs proper implementation. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of slow deep breathing exercise on reducing blood pressure in hypertensive patients in the Telaga Dewa Health Center work area, Bengkulu City. This research method is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental research design. The results of univariate analysis obtained that the average respondent was 64 years old, with the majority gender being female, namely seven respondents (53.3%). Most respondents have a family history of hypertension, as many as 12 respondents (80%). The results of the bivariate analysis showed that the p-value <0.05. In conclusion, there is a decrease in systolic and diastolic blood pressure before and after slow deep breathing intervention in hypertension sufferers in the Telaga Dewa Health Center Work Area, Bengkulu City.
