Abstract

Pemanfaatan Puskesmas merupakan upaya dalam meningkatkan derajat kesehatan. Diketahui bahwa jumlah rujukan dari Puskesmas Sidomulyo ke rumah sakit mencapai 617 kasus, menunjukkan tingginya kebutuhan masyarakat dalam pemanfaatan Puskesmas tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan status pekerjaan dan pendapatan dengan pemanfaatan pelayanan kesehatan di Puskesmas Sidomulyo. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif, dengan rancangan Cross Sectional menggunakan teknik accidental sampling yang dilaksanakan selama bulan Mei-Juni 2021. Populasi adalah seluruh masyarakat di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Sidomulyo kota Bengkulu dengan sampel sebanyak 50 responden. Data di analisis dengan menggunakan aplikasi SPSS 16, data yang di analisis adalah uji univariat, bivariat. Hasil analisis univariat menunjukkan bahwa responden telah memanfaatkan pelayanan kesehatan yaitu 40 orang (80%), bekerja 37 orang (74%) dan responden yang mempunyai pendapatan ≤2.000.000 sebanyak 27 orang (54%). Variabel yang berhubungan dengan pemanfaatan Puskesmas sebagai pelayanan primer di puskesmas Sidomulyo adalah pekerjaan (p=0,046), sedangkan pendapatan tidak terdapat hubungan (nilai p). Diharapkan pihak Puskesmas untuk terus melakukan sosialisasi terkait pelayanan kesehatan yang ada sebagai upaya peningkatan pemanfaatan.

Abstract

Background: Puskesmas as First Level Health Facilities (FKTP) plays a vital role during the Covid-19 pandemic in preventing and controlling the number of Covid-19 cases by anticipating, detecting, responding to events. However, at this time, the puskesmas are still underutilized by the community. The highest confirmed positive cases in Bengkulu City were in the Gading Cempaka District, with 990 cases. This study aimed to determine the variables related to the utilization of puskesmas in Bengkulu City. Methods: This research was quantitative research with a cross-sectional study design. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to respondents using an accidental sampling technique executed in March-August 2021. The research population was the entire community of Bengkulu City, with a sample of 110 respondents from the Gading Cempaka District, Bengkulu City. Data were analyzed by univariate to multivariate logistic regression. Results: The results show that 88 respondents (78.2%) have utilized the puskesmas, as many as 86 (78.2%) were female, 86 respondents (60.9%) belonged to the young age group, respondents with higher education were 73 respondents ( 66.4%), 73 respondents (66.4%) worked and as many as 79 respondents (71.8%) have income <UMP. The bivariate analysis results showed that the factors related to the utilization of the puskesmas (p<0.05) were variables of age, education, occupation, and income despite no relationship between gender, distance, knowledge, and family support (p>α). The results of the multivariate analysis showed that education was the dominant factor influencing the utilization of the puskesmas with (p-value = 0.010; B = 2.707; 95% CI = 1.892-118.569). Conclusion: The community has taken advantage of the puskesmas in terms of preventing Covid-19. The utilization of puskesmas is affected by age and education level.

Abstract

The results of a survey on fathers of under-five in Brimobda Bengkulu found that their children were not given exclusive breastfeeding. Fathers do not know what exclusive breastfeeding is, the benefits, and forms of father support that can support the success of exclusive breastfeeding. The service activity aimed to improve the understanding and skills of fathers in providing support for breastfeeding, especially exclusive breastfeeding through counseling activities and providing examples of the role of fathers in exclusive breastfeeding. The activity was carried out with the target of prospective fathers and fathers of under-five. The implementing team for this activity is a lecturer at the health sciences faculty of the University of Muhammadiyah Bengkulu. Community service that was carried out online using zoom media. This was due to the Covid-19 pandemic situation. Implementation was carried out in April 2021. Complete information about breastfeeding was given to fathers/husbands so that they understand what exclusive breastfeeding is, and provide support to breastfeeding mothers. The results of this activity indicated an increase in fathers' knowledge about breastfeeding and exclusive breastfeeding. Participants seemed enthusiastic in participating in this activity. It is advisable to continue to provide education about breastfeeding to groups of fathers and other prospective fathers. To be able to prepare to support breastfeeding. ABSTRAK Hasil survei pada ayah yang memiliki anak balita di Brimobda Bengkulu ditemukan bahwa anaknya tidak diberikan ASI Eksklusif. Ayah tidak mengetahui apa itu ASI Eksklusif, manfaatnya serta bentuk dukungan Ayah yang bagaimana dapat mendukung keberhasilan ASI Eksklusif. Kegiatan pengabdian bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan ayah dalam memberikan dukungan pemberian ASI khususnya ASI Eksklusif melalui kegiatan penyuluhan serta memberikan contoh bentuk peran ayah dalam pemberian ASI Eksklusif. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan sasaran calon ayah dan ayah yang mempunyai Balita. Tim pelaksana kegiatan ini adalah dosen fakultas ilmu kesehatan Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan secara daring menggunakan media zoom. Hal ini dikarenakan situasi pandemi Covid-19. Pelaksanaan dilakukan pada bulan April. Informasi lengkap tentang ASI diberikan kepada para ayah/suami agar mereka memahami apa itu ASI eksklusif, serta memberikan dukungan kepada para ibu menyusui. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan Ayah tentang ASI dan ASI Eksklusif. Peserta terlihat antusias mengikuti kegiatan ini. Sebaiknya edukasi tentang ASI terus dilakukan kepada kelompok ayah dan calon ayah lainnya. Agar bisa mempersiapkan diri untuk mendukung pemberian ASI.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the differences between the effectiveness of Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) and Slow Deep Breathing Exercise (SDBE) on BP of hypertension patients. The research was an experiment with a randomized pretest and posttest with three group design without a control group. There was no significant difference on the effectiveness between the three groups after intervention. The optimal time of reduction in systolic BP in the PMR and SDBE groups occurred on day three. In diastolic BP, the optimal time of reduction did not occured. Conclusion, the three relaxation techniques effectively reduced blood pressure of hypertension patients.The effective time of blood pressure reduction occurred on the third day. Abstract

This study aims to describe the level of parental anxiety when children interact socially during the Covid-19 pandemic in the work area of the Beringin Raya Public Health Center, Bengkulu City. The research method used in this study is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The results showed that the description of the level of anxiety of parents when their children interacted socially during the COVID-19 pandemic from 45 respondents, the category of not being anxious was five respondents (11.1%), mild anxiety was 37 respondents (82.2%), and moderate anxiety was three respondents. (6.7%). In conclusion, the description of the level of anxiety of parents when children interact socially during the COVID-19 pandemic in the work area of the Beringin Raya Public Health Center in Bengkulu City is mainly classified as mild anxiety. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of slow deep breathing exercise on reducing blood pressure in hypertensive patients in the Telaga Dewa Health Center work area, Bengkulu City. This research method is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental research design. The results of univariate analysis obtained that the average respondent was 64 years old, with the majority gender being female, namely seven respondents (53.3%). Most respondents have a family history of hypertension, as many as 12 respondents (80%). The results of the bivariate analysis showed that the p-value <0.05. In conclusion, there is a decrease in systolic and diastolic blood pressure before and after slow deep breathing intervention in hypertension sufferers in the Telaga Dewa Health Center Work Area, Bengkulu City. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of brain Gymnastics and playing puzzles on improving the motor skills in preschool children in the work area of the Basuki Rahmad Health Center in Bengkulu. The Quantitative research design used the quasy experiment design, one group pre-post test equivalent without control design. The results of the univariate analysis with brain gymnastics and playing puzzles intervention showed the 15 respondents before doing brain gymnastics and puzzle, there were nine children (60%) experiencing motor skills deviations and after giving therapy ten children (66.7%) experienced standard motor skills. The bivariate results of the Wilcoxon test have a significant effect between before and after brain gymnastics and puzzle intervention with p-value = 0.001 on motor development at the preschool children. It can conclude that an increase in the average motor picture before and after brain gymnastics and playing puzzles interventions in the Basuki Rahmad Community Health Center in Bengkulu. Abstract

This study aims to identify the effect of isometric handgrip exercise on changes in blood pressure in people with hypertension. Quasi experimental research design with two group pretest postest research design on 16 respondents. The results showed that there were changes in systolic and diastolic blood pressure after the isometric handgrip exercise intervention (t = 8,279, p = 0,000), (t = 6,154, p = 0,000). In conclusion, there was a difference between the decrease in systolic and diastolic blood pressure in the isometric handgrip exercise intervention group. Abstract

This study aims to explore the psychological experiences of single parents with confirmed COVID-19. The design of this study is a phenomenological approach because what is being studied is experience. The participants involved were single parents with confirmed COVID-19, with the instrument used as an in-depth interview guide related to their psychological experiences with confirmed COVID-19. The results of this study obtained five themes, namely the transmission of covid-19 occurs due to infection from friends in the work environment and after traveling, feelings when confirmed with covid-19, single parents experience shortness of breath, anxiety, worry, fear, shaking, insomnia, headaches, and anxiety. Was. In self-care, single parents ask to be cared for independently at home by taking medicines, vitamins, herbs to maintain progress and experience changes in excessive eating patterns. This he also applies to his children so that children stay healthy. The conclusion is that single parents experience psychological problems, namely anxiety, with a moderate level when confirmed positive for COVID-19. Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between religious practices of people living with HIV/AIDS. The design in this study is a descriptive-analytic study. The survey results from 153 respondents that most of the religious practices of Islam in the HIV/AIDS group were moderate 105 (68.6%). In conclusion, there is a significant relationship between the level of spiritual practice of people living with HIV/AIDS. Keywords: HIV/AIDS, Religious Practice
