Jurnal Ilmu Ilmu Agribisnis: Journal of Agribusiness Science is published by the Department of Agribusiness, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Lampung, in collaboration with PERHEPI, the Indonesian Agricultural Economist Association. The first printed Journal was published in 2013 and the online version started in May 2018 edition. The scopes include agribusiness, agricultural economics, agricultural development, rural sociology, agricultural extension, food security, and other subjects related to agriculture and society. This Journal is published four times a year, February, May, August, and November.

Abstract

The purposes of this study are to analyze factors that influence cassava production, the cost structure of cassava farming, and the amount of cassava farming income in the Seputih Banyak District, Central Lampung Regency.  The determination of the location of the research was carried out intentionally in the District of Seputih Banyak in Central Lampung Regency.  Respondents in this study were 70 cassava farmers.  This research was conducted in October 2019. This research method uses a survey method.  Data were analyzed using the Cobb-Douglas production function, farm income by calculating Revenue Cost Ratio (R/C), and cost structure.  The results showed that the factors that significantly affected cassava production and gave positive values were seeds and labor, and the factor that gave negative value was urea fertilizer.  The cost structure incurred for variable costs is higher than fixed costs, with the largest total cost structure being the labor cost of 38.56%.  The biggest cost structure for cash costs and calculated costs is 56% of non-family labor costs and 92% of land rent.  Cassava farming is profitable with income from the total cost of IDR11,799,517 per hectare, and R/C value over total cost of 1.67.

Abstract

The research aims to study preference, consumer satisfaction, post-purchase behavior of banana crispy in two MSMEs at Gedong Tataan District.  The research location was determined survey method in Banana Melted Lampung and Banana Monalisa.  There are 45 respondents in this study who were taken by sampling quota.  Data were collected in January-March 2022.  Data of preferences and purchasing decisions were analyzed by descriptive quantitatively, while satisfaction level were analyzed using Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI).  This research results indicated that consumers preferred banana crispy at Banana Melted Lampung than at Banana Monalisa.  The level Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) in consuming banana crispy at Banana Melted Lampung was in the very satisfied criteria, while at Banana Monalisa was in the satisfied criteria.  The number of purchases of banana crispy in the two MSMEs is two boxes per month.  In purchasing decisions, after consumers evaluate the product, 11 people still consume Banana Melted Lampung, then 10 consumers only consume Banana Monalisa, and the rest still consume both. Key words: Crispy banana, decision, preference, satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the attitude of consumers and the factors that influence the purchase of meatballs bulk in Bandar Lampung.  The markets which are analyzed in this research are Way Halim Market, Koga Market, and Gintung Market.  The method that is used in this study is a survey method.  Respondents in this study were selected randomly using the Accidental Sampling method.  Respondents in this study were consumers of bulk beef meatballs that had bought bulk beef meatballs at least 3 times in the last 2 months.  Types of data used in this study are primary data and secondary data.  Before analyzing attitudes by Fishbein's multi-attribute analysis, the validity and reliability tests are first performed.  To determine the factors that influenced the number of purchases of beef meatballs in bulk in Bandar Lampung City, multiple linear regression analysis is performed.  Most respondents were housewives.  The reaserch showed that attribute with the highest attitude score was the endurance attribute, while the cleanliness attribute, was the attribute with the smallest score.  Factors that influence the number of consumers who bought meatballs in bulk were the price of bulk meatballs, the price of fish meatballs, the price of mustard greens, and the tastes of consumers.  Fish meatballs were substitutes for bulk meatballs, if the price of bulk meatballs increases, consumers will choose to consume fish balls.  Mustard was a complementary item from bulk meatballs, if the price of mustard greens increase, the purchase of bulk meatballs will decrease.  Consumers who like the meatballs will tend to buy bulk meatballs with more amount than consumers who don’t like. Key words: attitude, consumers, decision, meatballs, purchasing

Abstract

This study intends to interprete the income, the level of household welfare of tofu agroindustry owners and to know the factors related to the level of household welfare of tofu agroindustry owners at the tofu industry center, Gadingrejo District, Pringsewu Regency. The research location is in Pekon Gadingrejo, Gadingrejo District, Pringsewu Regency using a census method. There are 15 respondents who own tofu agroindustry in Pekon Gadingrejo. Data analysis uses a descriptive quantitative analysis that includes the level of welfare according to Sajogyo, BPS, World Bank, and ADB as well as Spearman Rank analysis to determine the related factors. The results showed that the household income of tofu agroindustry owners in Pekon Gadingrejo was before the pandemic of IDR32,214,381.20 per month with a percentage of 97,41% of tofu agroindustry businesses, and income from other businesses of 2,59%. Household income during the pandemic was IDR23,273,759.10 per month with a percentage of 96,63% of tofu agroindustry businesses and income from other businesses of 3,37%. The welfare and poverty level of tofu agroindustry households in Pekon Gadingrejo based on Sajogyo's criteria, most of the group is sufficient, based on the standard of BPS, which is 40 % in the poor category, based on the criteria of the World Bank and ADB, which is a poverty rate of 0 %. The factors related to the level of household welfare of the tofu agroindustry are the level of household income and household expenditure. Key words:  household, income, tofu, welfare

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the performance production of baked fish crackers kerupuk kemplang in Skip Rahayu Agroindustry, Bumi Waras Subdistrict, Bandar Lampung. The method used in this research is a survey method. The location was determined purposively with the consideration that the area is the production center of kerupuk kemplang agroindustry in Bandar Lampung. The samples in this study are 13 baked fish crackers kerupuk kemplang agroindustry owners that are randomly selected disproportionately. Data collected were in March - April 2021 and the data analysis method used in this research was qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. The study results are kerupuk kemplang agroindustrial performance based on productivity aspect, capacity, quality, speed of delivery, and the speed of the process has been good, but based on the flexibility aspect it is not optimal. Key words: kerupuk kemplang, production performance

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of production efficiency of lowland rice farming and lowland rice farming income. The study was conducted using a survey method. The research was carried out in Sidomukti and Bumi Jaya Villages, with the consideration that both villages had the same type of wetland, namely the largest type of irrigated paddy in 2018. The number of respondents was 75 paddy rice farmers selected using a simple random method. Data collection was carried out in March-April 2019. The amount of income was analyzed by calculating the R/C and the level of production efficiency was analyzed by the stochastic frontier production function. The results showed that lowland rice farming was not yet technically efficient, economically very efficient, and very efficient in price. The income of lowland rice farming in season I to cash costs is IDR9,653,092.11 per ha with an R/C of 2.66 and the income of lowland rice farming to the total cost of IDR5,647,645.87 with an R / C of 1.58 per ha  meaning that farming is profitable to be cultivated. Key words: income, lowland rice farming, production efficiency
