Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that influence the inflation rate and find out the strategy of the agricultural sector to deal with inflation of food crops in Central Lampung Regency. Data on superior crops of food crops refers to the Decree of the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia number 830/Kpts/Rc.040/12/2016, namely cassava, corn, soybeans, and rice. This study was analyzed using the Consumer Price Index (CPI) and Inflation Rate. The form of the agricultural sector strategy in order to deal with inflation of food crops is created from the results of the FGD.  Factors that influence the inflation rate in terms of production (supply) in Central Lampung Regency are high production costs, increases in prices of agricultural production facilities, rising labor costs, high distribution costs of agricultural products, inadequate infrastructure, weather and pest attacks plant diseases, and slow innovation in agriculture. The strategy of the agricultural sector in Central Lampung Regency is through intensification, extensification and rehabilitation programs that focus on agricultural innovation activities including: using superior varieties adapted to regional conditions, using irrigation systems (SRI), developing supply chain management systems, institutional engineering innovations and partnership, setting reference prices for superior agricultural commodities, using special planting machines for grains, processing cow manure into organic fertilizers, special efforts to increase production and increase in rice, corn, soybean, cassava, new paddy field printing programs, and optimal use of fertilizers.  Keywords: inflation, agricultural sector, strategy

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyze financial feasibility and sensitivity of calamansi syrup industry in Segar Asri, Padang Serai Village, Kampung Melayu Sub-district, Bengkulu City. This research is a case study conducted in April - May 2019. The location of the research is chosen purposively. Data were obtained from the interview process using a questionnaire. The analytical method used in this research is investment criteria (Internal Rate of Return, Net Present Value, Gross Benefit Cost Ratio, Net Benefit Cost Ratio and Payback Period). The results showed that the financial analysis carried out at Segar Asri, Padang Serai Village, Kampung Melayu Sub-district, Bengkulu City was profitable and feasible to continue. Sensitivity analysis of calamansi syrup industry in Segar Asri, Padang Serai Village, Kampung Melayu Sub-District, Bengkulu City is feasible to continue if there is a decrease in calamansi syrup production by 10%, 20%, and 30%.Key words: Calamansi, feasibility, financial, sensitivity, syrup

Abstract

This research aims to determine the level of risk and behavior faced by farmers in dumbo catfish farming. This research was a survey conducted in Kota Gajah Subdistrict of Central Lampung Regency in August-September 2018. Respondents are 44 dumbo catfish farmers members of the Fish Cultivation Group (pokdakan) taken using simple random sampling. The results of this research showed that the dumbo catfish farming in Kota Gajah Subdistrict of Central Lampung Regency has the CV value price risk of 0.04 and the lower limit (L) of IDR15,320. The CV value less than 0.50 means that farmers risk suffered losses due to changes in low classified price. CV value of production risk is 0.04 and the lower limit (L) is 2,449.33 kg. The CV value less than 0.50 means that farmers risk experiencing losses due to changes in production relatively low. Based on the analysis that was done with the quadratic utility approach shows that dumbo catfish farmers in Kota Gajah Subdistrict are 41 farmers behave neutrally and 3 farmers behave boldly in facing the risk of catfish farming.Key words: behavior, dumbo catfish, farmers, risk

Abstract

This study aims to determine decision making, purchasing patterns, and customer satisfaction of fresh flower buckets. The research was conducted at Rose Florist Bandar Lampung using a survey method.with the total samples of 40 customers. The samples were determined using Accidental Sampling. Data collection was carried out in November 2019 - February 2020. Decision making and purchasing patterns were analyzed using qualitative descriptive method and the level of customer satisfaction was analyzed using the Satisfaction Customer Index (CSI) and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). The results showed that the decision making in purchasing fresh flower buckets was mostly influenced by friends and the attribute that was considered was the appearance of the product. The highest number of purchased buckets of fresh flowers.in the last three months was as many as 4 buckets, the frequency of buying was 3-4 times, and type mostly bought was the small bucket. Most the consumers of the fresh flower bucket were satisfied.  Based on the Cartesian IPA diagram, the attribute in quadrant I is price. The attributes in quadrant II are product appearance and freshness of flowers. Attributes in quadrant III are attributes of speed of assembly and ease of obtaining. And, the attributes in quadrant IV are service and the diversity of the flower types.Key words: customer satisfaction, decision making, fresh flower bucket, purchasing patterns.

Abstract

Pupuk organik cair (POC) adalah jenis pupuk organik yang berasal dari kotoran hewan atau tanaman yang dapat menutrisi pertumbuhan tanaman. Tujuan kegiatan ini dapat mengedukasi warga Desa Tanjung Aji khususnya dari kalangan petani untuk mengetahui cara membuat POC dari batang pohon pisang. Artikel ini berupaya memberikan gambaran dan penjelasan terkait program kerja pembuatan POC, meliputi proses, tahapan, hasil, dan manfaatnya. Penulisan artikel ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan dengan model deskriptif-eksplanatif. Hasilnya, masyarakat menerima pemahaman dan wawasan baru dalam hal pemanfaatan limbah batang pisang sebagai POC. Hal ini membantu masyarakat desa untuk memanfaatkan limbah batang pisang yang mereka miliki. Artikel ini dibuat berdasarkan pelaksanaan KKN Reguler Universitas Lampung Periode II tahun 2022. Artikel ini mendukung pengimplementasian poin SDGs dalam bidang pertanian untuk mewujudkan pertanian berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze visitor satisfaction on tourism facilities and infrastructures, travel cost, factors that affect the number of visits, and economic value of Taman Kehati in Mesuji Regency.  This research used a survey method involving 65 respondents.  Data were collected in December 2019.  The first objective was analized using likert scale analysis, the second objective used travel cost method, the third objective used multiple linear regression analysis, and the fourth objective used consumer surplus analysis.  The study suggests that visitors were satisfied with facilities and infrastructure provided by Taman Kehati, travel cost was IDR165.614 per individual with the highest cost allocated for consumption, which was IDR101.656,72 or 61 percent of total travel cost.  The factors affecting the number of visits to Taman Kehati included age, income, travel cost, travel time, day of the visit, and conditions of the park.  The economic value of Taman Kehati is IDR993.850.777.736 per year. Key words: economic value, travel costs, visitor satisfaction.

Abstract

This study intends to interprete the income, the level of household welfare of tofu agroindustry owners and to know the factors related to the level of household welfare of tofu agroindustry owners at the tofu industry center, Gadingrejo District, Pringsewu Regency. The research location is in Pekon Gadingrejo, Gadingrejo District, Pringsewu Regency using a census method. There are 15 respondents who own tofu agroindustry in Pekon Gadingrejo. Data analysis uses a descriptive quantitative analysis that includes the level of welfare according to Sajogyo, BPS, World Bank, and ADB as well as Spearman Rank analysis to determine the related factors. The results showed that the household income of tofu agroindustry owners in Pekon Gadingrejo was before the pandemic of IDR32,214,381.20 per month with a percentage of 97,41% of tofu agroindustry businesses, and income from other businesses of 2,59%. Household income during the pandemic was IDR23,273,759.10 per month with a percentage of 96,63% of tofu agroindustry businesses and income from other businesses of 3,37%. The welfare and poverty level of tofu agroindustry households in Pekon Gadingrejo based on Sajogyo's criteria, most of the group is sufficient, based on the standard of BPS, which is 40 % in the poor category, based on the criteria of the World Bank and ADB, which is a poverty rate of 0 %. Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of banana chips marketing in the pandemics period at Kharisma banana chips agroindustry in Bandar Lampung City. This research involved 5 respondents, namely 1 owner, 2 employees, and 2 consumers.  The research data was collected in January 2022 and analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. Qualitative analysis was conducted based on the field observations and direct interviews with business owners, production employees, sales employees, and consumers. Quantitative analysis was conducted by calculating the EFE, IFE, and IE matrices. The results showed that the internal factors in the marketing of the agroindustry of Kharisma banana chips were product, price, promotion, human resources, physical evidence, and process while external factors were competitors, consumers, technology, suppliers, and the government. The condition that occurred in the marketing of the Agroindustry during the pandemic was that the turnover was decreasing because the number of consumers was reducing due to the pandemic.  Keywords:   Agroindustry, Banana, Marketing, Pandemic
