Abstract

The study aims to describe the process and learning achievement through scrabble media to stimulate the students in knowing the history of Islam to kindergarten students age 5-6 years old. The research was an action reseach on group B at TK Nurul Hidayah West Sumatera. The method of the study was Kemmis and Tagart method by applying some steps including planning, action, observation, and reflection. The techniques to collect the data were observation, interview, field noting, instruments of action observer and documentation. The data were analyzed through quantitative and qualitative method. The results in quantitative showed that the students ability at knowing the history of Islam was improved after treated by scrabble. It can be proved by the average of the percentage before treatment was 50.27%. After some treatments in cycle I, it was improved to 69% and it was also improved in cycle II for 85.95%. Based on the result, it can be concluded that scrabble can improve kindergarten students ability at knowing the history of Islam. Krewords: The history of Islam, Scrabble Media

Abstract

The study aims to describe the tendency of students learning style at History Education Study Program of STKIP-PGRI Lubuklinggau. The study was a descriptive study. the subject of the study was the history students in Strategi Belajar Mengajar class. The techniques to collect the data were observation and questionnaire. The data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that students' learning styles include visual was10,26%, audio was 15,38%, kinesthetic 46% , audiovisual was 5,13%, visual-kinesthetic was 7,69%, audio- kinesthetic was 15,38%. Abstract

The research aims at analyzing text book content in curriculum 2013. The research used qualitative approach. the techniques to collect the data were library study, reading and analyze the whole data in primary data. The finding presented that the text book for senior high school grade X curriculum 2013 was in 'proper' category including proper content and language. However, the notes in the graphic aspect were it needed to be fixed so that the students may understand the content for each chapter easier. Another weakness was there were some parts in the chapter that did not present the supporting material. However, the content has met the standard of BSNP. Finally, content proper, graphic, language, and presentation of the book has met the standard of BSNP. Keywords: Content Proper Analysis, Texts Book, Curriculum 2013

Abstract

The aim of the study was to look at the improvement of the group of Ludruk Organisatie as art performance as well as its role in the social circumstances in Surabaya. This study was a historiography study. The arrangement of historiography must be conducted through some steps of history study method such as heuristic, sources criticism, interpretation and historiography arrangement. The findings were the characteristic performed by Ludruk Organisatie such as 1) ludruk performance has no longer presented mystique elements; 2) presented nationalism symbols as the theme of the show; 3) it was presented commercially. In conclusion, the existence of ludruk was warm-welcomed by the society, especially in East Java as the entertainment as well as the heritage. Keywords: Cak Durasim, Ludruk Organisatie, Nationalism

Abstract

The objective of the study was to analyze the role of islamic boarding school in preventing radicalism in Rejang Lebong regency. The study used qualitative approach with descriptive method. The data collection was done though interview, documentation and observation. The result showed that in playing the role, islamic boarding school recently became the target of people's distrust: this was the place of radicalism and terrorism. According to the analysis, there was no school found as the place of radicalism and terrorism. Some schools even actively prevent radicalism and terrorism effectively. In conclusion, the role of islamic boarding schools in Rejang Lebong to prevent radicalism and terrorism through the tight control was effective.
