Abstract

Mahasantri (an Islamic university students) is an agent for Islamic Higher Education Institution to face the Moderate Islam Malay Era. In Indonesia, for example, there is a university boarding school program for Mahasantri to improve their personality and competence. This study is trying to find out whether the program has been aligned with their satisfaction. One of service they received in the boarding is English Language Learning program. They are going to be interviewed about their satisfaction toward the program. Then, the interview result will be analyzed to generate the satisfaction indicator referring to five dimensions of Service Quality (SQ) by Parasuraman and Berry (1991).

Abstract

This study aims to describe the suitability and benefits of the Integrated Teaching Professional Practice (PPKT) Program for Educational Management (EM) students in developing their competencies. The approach used is program evaluation using the Context-Input-Process-Product (CIPP) model which aims to collect accurate and comprehensive information so that it can be used to assist leaders to make further decisions to redesign, improve, or possibly stop the implementation of the program. The results showed that the PPKT program for EM students was not on target and needed to be stopped immediately or replaced with another program whose value was equivalent because: (1) Theoretically contextual, the PPKT was intended for students from study-based study programs so that it was not suitable for EM students; (2) From the Input aspect, students face the constraints of planning, implementing and evaluating learning, the weak competency of supervisors because their educational background is not from an education degree, teaching staff lack competency; (3) Based on the Process aspect, the PPKT implementation is not appropriate expected especially in teaching and research activities because the supervisor and tutor are not able to carry out their duties and functions properly; and (4) From the Product aspect, PPKT has not been able to improve teaching competence, educational research, educational creation and innovation. The acquisition of a high final score does not reflect their competence because more assessment is based on the subjectivity of tutors and tutors. Based on the results of the study, it was suggested that the Head of the EM Department need to reformulate the vision, mission and competency standards of graduates who are more referring to the competence of education staff, encouraging faculty leaders to immediately issue a decision to terminate the PPKT program for EM students and replace it with other programs with the same weight as PPKT.Keywords: context, input, process, product, PPKT.

Abstract

The management of marketing education services will be good if done correctly and professionally. The aim of the marketing management of education services is to facilitate the institution in marketing its educational services to the community. The purpose of this study is to be able to find out how the implementation of the mix strategy in the marketing management of education services in the Darul Fallah Integrated Aliyah Madrasah (MAT) Bogor. This scientific research uses qualitative methods by collecting data from field observation activities, interviews with relevant sources, and taking documentation from the research site. The marketing mix of education services in MAT Darul Fallah Bogor includes: (1) Product strategy; (2) Price Strategy; (3) Place Strategy (location); (4) Promotion Strategy; (5) People Strategy; (6) Physical Evendece Strategy; and (7) Process Strategy. In addition, this study also discusses the development of marketing education services in MAT Darul Fallah Bogor from year to year and various kinds of educational services products offered so that consumers are more interested in seeing firsthand the advantages of this school.Keywords: management, marketing, education services, satisfaction.

Abstract

In the time of the development of various kinds of disciplines including the science of education, Islam was present as an ideal concept and a perfect model while answering various challenges from the various problems of the development of education. At a time when many Muslims themselves are unaware of the concepts and models of Islamic education and glare with theories, concepts, and models of non-Islamic education. Many institutions labeled Islam, but in reality are still far from the truth, so the graduates are still far from the hopes of the nation and Islam itself. Therefore, to print Islamic put out, it is necessary for the management of tarbiyah to design, organize, implement and control humans so that as students can maintain their nature when carrying out their main duties as khalīfah fī al-ardh to maintain the balance and continuity of life on this earth not damaged by dirty hands that have been damaged and even lost their nature in the form of religion and morals. This paper explains the meaning of management in Islam and aims to find out the management intentions of students in the perspective of Islamic education.Keywords: management, education, students.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the extent to which the theory of management according to William Spriegel which includes Planing, Organizing, Controlling or abbreviated POC harmoniously applicable to the management of Islamic Primary School Unified Islamic School (SUIS) Bogor.The research was conducted with qualitative inductive methodology, and the main subjects were Headmaster, Deputy Head of Curriculum and teacher/ homeroom teacher. The data were collected through observation and interviews and document analysis.The result of the research proves that POC theory is aligned with the management of SD IT SUIS in curriculum aspect. Abstract

Lambaga pendidikan Islam merupakan salah satu lembaga pendidikan yang sangat dibutuhkan oleh masyarakat, eksistensinya diakui masyarakat mampu mempertahankan nilai-nilai dan norma yang berlaku dimasyarakat dan sesuai kaidah Al Qur’an. Kehadiran TKIT Mutiara Insani Delanggu mampu membantu masyarakat Delanggu dalam memfasilitasi anak usia dini  untuk berkembang sesuai tahapannya. Motivasi merupakan dorongan psikologis yang mengarahkan seseorang ke arah suatu tujuan. Dengan motivasi pengabdian yang tulus maka mereka para pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan akan dapat bekerja dengan optimal. Lembaga ini berusaha untuk mengimplementasikan teori-teori motivasi dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan. Teori kebutuhan oleh Abraham Maslow tentang variasi kebutuhan manusia dipandang tersusun dalam bentuk hierarki atau jenjang. Setiap jenjang kebutuhan dapat dipenuhi hanya kalau jenjang sebelumnya telah relative terpuaskan. Teori harapan yang dipostulatkan Vroom bahwa semakin tinggi ekspektansi seseorang terhadap suatu keberhasilan maka semakin besar pula motivational force yang akan timbul dalam mengerjakan tugas tersebut. Teori tujuan (goal setting) berpandangan bahwa sumber kekuatan motivasional (motivational force) seseorang adalah tujuan yang menantang sehingga seseorang terpicu semangatnya untuk mencapainya. Model-model motivasi ada dua yaitu motivasi intrinsik didefinisikan sebagai suatu keinginan untuk melakukan sesuatu karena memang menikmati kepuasan dalam melakukan tindakan tersebut, dan motivasi ekstrinsik yang didefinisikan sebagai suatu keinginan untuk mengejar suatu tujuan yang diakibatkan oleh imbalan-imbalan yang bersifat seperti gaji, popularitas. Kata kunci : Lembaga Pendidikan Islam, Motivasi Kerja, Teori Motivasi.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing how to implement the Office Plan Work Plan (RKP) at the Az-Zikra Sentul Foundation. The focus of this study is related to the office work plan with three subfocuses, namely (1) what is the mechanism for preparing the RKP by Aaz-Zikra, (2) what are the types of plans made, and (3) which types of plans have been realized. This study uses a qualitative research approach and descriptive method. Data collection techniques carried out in qualitative research are in-depth interviews where in this study the researcher himself is the main instrument for finding data by interacting symbolically with the informants studied. The findings obtained at the Az-Zikra Foundation related to the implementation of the RKP are: (1) The program planning mechanism at the foundation was initiated by K.H. Muhammad Arifin Ilham who now serves as Chair of the Board of Trustees. Starting from the habit of dhikr in mosques to the famous abroad until finally having a dzikir mosque funded by the Libyan government until now it is able to stand up to fund the foundation program independently. (2) There are four types of planning based on organizational goals made by the management of the Az-Zikra Foundation. (3) Which can be said to be realized by the Az-Zikra Sentul Foundation, starting from strategic planning, tactical planning, operational planning and situational planning.Keywords: implementation, work plan, office.

Abstract

Makalah ini bertujuan menjelaskan akan pandangan Islam tentang kepemimpinan dalam membentuk budaya yang baik pada sebuah organisasi dan pengaruh keteladanan pemimpin terhadap peningkatan kinerja seorang pegawai dalam mengemban amanah pekerjaan. Kerangka yang ingin disampaikan dalam makalah ini ada dalam beberapa poin berikut; konsep dan pandangan Islam tentang kepemimpinan, pemimpin sebagai pencipta budaya dalam lingkungan organisasi, pemimpin sebagai teladan dan pengaruhnya dalam meningkatkan kinerja pegawai. Makalah ini menyimpulkan bahwa pemimpin yang benar-benar menjalankan tuntunan dan ajaran Islam dalam kepemimpinanannya, akan mampu menciptakan budaya yang baik dalam lingkungan organisasinya dan mempengaruhi kinerja pegawai. Abstract

Abstract Office layout is a condition where the employees used it in an organization, if the layout is arranged well, it will influence their performance at the school.  This research is to know the influence of office layout toward employee performance and to see factors influencing both variables.  It was a quantitative research using simple linear regression technique to study about office layout (X) and employee performance (Y) at Pharmacy Vocational High School of Ikasari Pekanbaru.  This research aimed at knowing whether there was a significant influence of office layout toward employee performance at Pharmacy Vocational High School of Ikasari Pekanbaru.  The subjects of this research were 31 employees using total sampling and the data analysis was helped with SPSS 20.00.  The research findings showed that (1) employee performance level score was 84.87% and it was on very good category, (2) office layout score was 84.96% and it was on very good category, (3) there was a significant influence of office layout toward employee performance at Pharmacy Vocational High School of Ikasari Pekanbaru with 5% significant level 0.550 (0.826>0.3550).  The calculation result of determination coefficient (R Square) was 0.672.  It showed that the influence of office layout toward employee performance was 67.2%, and the rest 32.8% (100%-67.2%) was influenced by other variables that were not mentioned in this research.  The school was expected to upgrade the office layout in order that employee performance could be better.

Abstract

Sekolah sebagai penyelenggara pedidikan formal sangatlah penting dan berperan dalam memajukan sumberdaya yang berpendiddikan bagi manusia karena didalamnya terdapat kegiatan proses belajar mengajar yang teratur dan terencana. Agar kegiatan proses belajar mengajar dapat berjalan dengan baik, maka harus ada pemimpin yang dapat mengatur dan mengelola kegiatan proses belajar mengajar, yaitu guru yang kompeten yang mengambil peran tersebut. Dalam pembangunan di bidang pendidikan, tuntutan kepemimpinan di sekolah dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan proses belajar mengajar menjadi keharusan, sebagai salah satu faktor untuk meningkatkan keberhasilan prestasi belajar siswa. Salah satu dalam fungsi manajemen dalam melaksanakan kepemimpinan seorang guru dalam kompetensi mengajar adalah dengan melaksanakan fungsi pergerakan agar peserta didik dapat menerima pengajaran yang baik, yang merupakan bagian dari fungsi manajemen.
