<![CDATA[Teaching and learning process carried out must always go through the final process of evaluation, so that the results to be achieved are better. One of evaluation technique that is often used by educational institutions is achievement tests. Achievement tests are tests that are arranged in a planned manner to reveal the subject’s maximum performance in mastering the material or material that has been taught. In compiling test instruments for achievement tests, the test instrument must go through the Validity and Reliability Test. So the, test that will be prepared can be commensurate with the ability of someone who will be given a test. The test instruments that are prepared should not be too far below or above the ability of the test participants, and the level of difficulty of the items should be in the medium category. In the study of the test there are two approaches that can be used, namely the classical approach (CTT) and the modern approach based on Item Response Theory (IRT)]]>

<![CDATA[The last step in an educational institution management is controlling. controlling includes evaluation through controlling, surveillance, and direction. The ideal controllings are carried out by professionals, who are capable of working through various stages and on proportional goals. Controlling in educational institutions is aimed at the implementation of the overall program, expecting to improve the quality of educational institutions, such as in public schools, pesantren and dayah (Islamic schools) and other educational institutions. Controlling within educational institutions is urgent. Thus, supervisors must understand the steps and strategies of the implementation, can differ supervising and controlling, and know the duties of the school supervisor who serves an important role inthe supervisory task.]]>

<![CDATA[Historically education in the form of madrasah can not be isolated in the history of the nation of Indonesia, education in madrasah is the core key, the only educational institution that has long been growing and developing in Indonesia before the Dutch colonial government came and introduced the school system on the 19th abd. The colonial presence of the colonials made the education system into a duality of its style, where Islamic education at the madrasah at that time continues to run in order to expand and deepen the science of education about the Islamization for Indonesian nationals who are Muslims and on the other side of the school built by the colonial government also continues to run . Both run in very different conditions both in the provision of learning materials and in terms of performance.]]>

<![CDATA[Understanding the concept of islamic education to children is very important thing, boys and girls are the next generation of nation that must have the value and character as expected by nation, state and religion, because the use of islamic values as the provision of life in facing the growth of individuals who called us Insal kamil. Education which inculcates the values of faith and the good deeds is a process of internalization of divine valeus which must understood by every kids who will grow and develop as the successor of the nation in the future. Looking at some important aspects of the quranic teaching are faith, worship and morals. Especially the moral education that must be applied by both parents to their children from early childhood until the age of adolescent, because many cases that occur among children of early childhood to adolescent that reflects the bad attitude and behavior, for examples kicking his friends, speak harsly and snapped at both parents. The purpose of this study is to know the method or the way of applying moral education based on sural Al-Luqman. Based on the purpose stated above, this study will use a form of inductive and deductive descriptive study based on quran surah luqman verses 12-19. The result of the study found that the story of luqman al- Hakim containing his advice to his kids about moral education and the advice should be applied by parents to their children in their family]]>

<![CDATA[The laboratory is a place equippep with tools and materials that are utilized in experiment. Natural science is one of the subjects in the curriculum of basic education level. Natural science is a dicipline that is dynamic and always evolving in accordance with the advancement of science and technology. The implementation of the practical method in learning natural science needs laboratory as a place to do practical work activities. The utilization of laboratory for practical activities is part of the teaching and learning proces. Through practical activities, students can examine the existing concepts or theories andexperience a process or experiment, then make the conclusions. This activity will support students undestanding towards the subject matter. Experiment is one of the methods of learning that can foster students sense of curiousity, creativity, innovation and scientific honesty in dealing with an real life issues. The laboratory has a very important role in learning natural science at the level of primary education as in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI)/ Sekolah dasar (SD).]]>

<![CDATA[The existence of dayah as an educational institution, which still adopt traditional and modern education system, has a great influence in the life of Acehnese and Indonesian. From time to time, dayah has developed well both quality and quantity. Many people pay great attention to dayah as an alternative education. The dayah education is developing because its model is harmony with the soul, spirit, and personality of Indonesians who are dominantly Muslims. In general, the dayah education aims to foster moslem to behave based on Islamic education, to have a sense of religion in all aspects of life and to make themselves benefited to religion, society and country, as well as to devote themselves to God which is relevant to the aims of humans’ creation. The dayah education has differentcharacteristics from other educations. It also happen with curriculum in which it has itself curriculum with learning models in the form of talaqqi and bersanad. Nowadays, the dayah education has changed significantly compared to the past, such as it has started to implement a combination of traditional and madrasah education both at the secondary level and Aliyah and even at universities level.]]>

<![CDATA[Writing is a productive skill which means that it is a process of exploring one’s mind into words in a good grammar. The objective of this study is to look at some given theories or research on the use of clustering technique for writing skill. The discussion of the approach is focused on a clustering technique as the pre-writing technique should be used in teaching writing for second grade of junior high school students. The study found that clustering technique is very effective used in pre-writing stage because it can stimulate idea in writing process. Teaching writing by using clustering technique is one of technique that gives positive impact to the success of teaching writing because it is a strategy for the students to begin writing with exploring the ideas. It is also found that the studentsare highly motivated to learn the language by using clustering technique. The method used in this study is library research. Readings obtained from various are processed and described in a descriptive way. Based on the research findings and experts’ statements, it is found that clustering technique is effective to enhance the students’ writing skill. This study is expected to be useful for other English teachers and readers.]]>
