Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of leadership style and managerial competence of school principals on the performance of State Middle School teachers in Kayuagung District. The research was conducted at a state junior high school in Kayuagung District. The study used a descriptive quantitative research method, with a total population of 261 teaching staff at SMP Negeri Kayuagung District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. The number of samples calculated using the Slovin formula obtained a sample of 72 people—data collection techniques using questionnaires, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study used the t-test for partial tests and the F-test for simultaneous tests. The results of this study show that the principal's leadership style and managerial competence partially influence the performance of teachers of the SMP Negeri Kayuagung District. In conclusion, the principal's leadership style and managerial competence of the principal have a significant effect on teacher performance at the Kayuagung District Public Middle School Keywords: Leadership Style, Managerial Competence, Principal Teacher Performance

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the implementation of the principal's leadership in the context of implementing school-based management of Madrasah Tsanawiyah. This research was conducted at the Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Prabumulih school, which is located on Jalan Angkatan 45 Muaradua Village, East Prabumulih District, Prabumulih City. This research uses Qualitative Research with descriptive method. The objects or informants in this study are principals, teachers, administrative staff, students, parents, committees and the surrounding community. Data collection techniques in this study used in-depth interview, observation and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques use qualitative data analysis including data collection, data reduction, data display and data verification. The result of this research is that the principal has implemented his leadership in carrying out school-based management in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Kota Prabumulih, by conducting curriculum programs, fulfilling infrastructure and effective supervision. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze and describe the influence of motivation and work ethic together on the performance of teachers of State Senior High Schools in the Mobilization Program throughout the Kayuagung District. This research is a quantitative research with a causal study form. The population in this study were all school principals and teachers who served in State Senior High Schools in the Kayuagung District, totaling 137 people. The number of samples was calculated using the Slovin formula with a result of 58 people. The method of collecting data in this study is a questionnaire/questionnaire method, documentation and observation. Data analysis techniques in this study used descriptive analysis of data, independent variable descriptive analysis, dependent variable descriptive analysis and statistical analysis of research data. The results of this study are that there is an influence between motivation and work ethic together on the performance of teachers of Public High School Program Mobilization Schools throughout the Kayuagung District with an influence contribution of 29.6%. The fundamental difference from this research is that the research subjects specifically examined driving schools in the Kayuagung sub-district. Abstract

This study aims to determine directly or indirectly the influence of the Islamic work ethic and leadership style on the performance of MTs teachers through motivational variables, a case study of MTs teachers in NTT. This research uses descriptive and quantitative research methods. The study population was all MTs teachers in NTT, totaling 1,324 teachers. The sample used was 133 teachers using a purposive sampling technique. The analysis technique used is the Structural Equation Model (SEM) using WarpPLS 7.0. The results of data analysis show that; Islamic work ethic has a significant effect on motivation; Islamic work ethic has a significant impact on performance; leadership style has a significant effect on motivation; leadership style has a significant effect on performance; motivation has a significant effect on motivation; Islamic work ethic has a significant effect on performance through motivation; leadership style influences performance through motivation. In conclusion, there is an influence of Islamic work ethic and leadership style on the performance of MTs teachers through motivational variables keyword : Islamic work ethic, leadership style, performance, motivation.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the managerial capabilities of madrasa heads, madrasah climate, and madrasah quality in Panyabungan District and to analyze how much influence it had both partially and simultaneously. This study used a quantitative approach with descriptive methods; this type of survey research and regression analysis were conducted at 48 madrasahs with 285 teachers and 48 madrasa heads. The number of samples was ten madrasahs with ten madrasa heads and 78 teachers who were taken using Proportionate stratified random sampling. Based on the results of data processing and analysis, it was found that the managerial capabilities of madrasah heads, madrasah climate, and madrasah quality in madrasas in the Panyabungan District were in the very high category. The results showed that the managerial ability of the madrasah principal had a significant positive effect on the quality of the madrasah, the climate of the madrasah had a positive and significant impact on the quality of the madrasah, and together the managerial ability of the madrasah principal and the climate of the madrasah had a significant positive effect on the quality of the madrasah. In conclusion, the Managerial Capabilities of madrasah heads and madrasah climate are important factors that must be built to achieve madrasah quality, especially in the controlling aspect, the madrasah health climate aspect, and the output aspect. Abstract

The research aims to identify and analyze value-based leadership in developing the quality of education at the Amanah Tahfiz Sunggal Islamic boarding school, Deli Serdang. Using qualitative research methods, research techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of the research are values-based leadership at the third amanah Islamic boarding school, beginning with planning which divides its personnel into certain sections to improve the quality of education and dividing the main tasks and functions in the form of improving the quality of education and moving them to achieve the plan. The principal's efforts in carrying out his main role as a leader, manager, entrepreneurship development, and supervisor well, in addition to other roles. As someone who has values ​​trying to improve the quality of education, working hard and intelligent, creative, innovative, committed, and trying to set an example for his school members. Principal leadership to improve the quality of education has been carried out, including coaching and collaboration with all school members, increasing the participation of school members, the community, and stakeholders, establishing cooperation with related parties, conducting guidance and training, inviting resource persons, deepening material, raising funds, social services, promotions, and others. In conclusion, value-based leadership at the Amanah Tahfzd Islamic Boarding School is in accordance with the characteristics of value-based leadership in terms of accountability, professionalism, transparency, and communicativeness, which is a leadership concept that compares various aspects related to values ​​in relationships between members of the organization, cooperation with basic values-based organizations high commitment and serving the school community based on organizational values. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of satisfaction, motivation, and work climate on the effectiveness of private high school teachers in the Air Putih sub-district, Batu Bara district, and was carried out from June 2022 to August 2022. The results show that there is an effect of satisfaction on teacher work effectiveness. The magnitude of the influence is shown by the coefficient of determination R2 (R square) = 26.4, which means that satisfaction affects the efficacy of teacher work by 26.4%. The remainder, 73.6, shows the regression equation Ŷ = 27,096 + .708X1, which means that an increase will follow every rise of one value of job satisfaction in the effectiveness value of 0.708. The results also show that there is an influence of motivation on work effectiveness. The influence is indicated by the coefficient of determination R2 (R square) = 95.9, which means that work motivation's effect on teacher work's effectiveness is 95.9%, and other factors determine the remaining 4.1%. The results of the regression equation Ŷ = 27,096 + 1,152X2, which means that an increase will follow everyone's increase in the value of work motivation in the teacher's work effectiveness value of 1,152. The influence of the work climate on the effectiveness of the work of teachers. The magnitude of the influence is indicated by the coefficient of determination R2 (R square) = 94.8, which means that the working climate influences effectiveness by 94.8%, and other factors determine the remaining 5.2%. The results of a simple regression analysis show the regression equation Ŷ =:27.096+1.025X3, which means that an increase will follow every rise in the work climate value in the effectiveness value of 1.578. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the work environment and infrastructure on the work motivation of teachers, either partially or simultaneously. This research is a quantitative research with survey method and descriptive approach and has a sample of 55 respondents. Determination of the sample using probability sampling technique with simple random sampling method. Data collection techniques were carried out by interviewing, documenting and distributing questionnaires to respondents. While the data processing technique is done by testing the validity, reliability test, data analysis prerequisite test which includes normality test, linearity test, multicollinearity test, autocorrelation test, and heteroscedasticity test, while the data analysis technique is done by correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. Hypothesis testing is done by t test (partial), f test (simultaneous), and the coefficient of determination test. The results showed that: 1) the results of the t-test (partial) of the work environment variable obtained the value of tcount (3.063) > ttable (1.675) and Sig 0.000 <0.05. This shows that the work environment has a positive and significant effect on teacher work motivation; 2) the results of the t-test (partial) of the infrastructure variable obtained the value of tcount (3.550) > ttable (1.675) and Sig 0.000 <0.05. This shows that infrastructure has a positive and significant effect on teacher work motivation; 3) the results of the F test (simultaneous) obtained the value of Fcount (102.659) > Ftable (3.18) and Sig 0.000 <0.05. This shows that the work environment and infrastructure together have a positive and significant effect on teacher work motivation. Through the coefficient of determination test, the coefficient of determination is 0.798. This shows that the effect of the work environment and infrastructure together on the work motivation of teachers is 79.8% and the remaining 20.2% is influenced by other factors not included in this study. keyword: infrastructure, motivation, work environment

Abstract

This study aims to describe the internal quality assurance process by universities to improve sustainable quality through the one-cycle MSS-PT model, which includes: Setting standards; implementation; monitoring; self-evaluation; internal quality audits; formulation of corrections; and quality improvement. The study results found that the SPMI AKBID Repsati Sumedang cycle consisted of seven steps or stages: Standard Setting, Implementation, Monitoring, SelfEval uation, Internal Quality Audit, Formulation of Corrections, and Quality Improvement for stakeholder satisfaction. Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of analyzing and describing the influence of principals' leadership and school culture on teacher performance, either partially or simultaneously. To perform these tests, this research uses quantitative methods. Data collection techniques were carried out through questionnaires and documentation, and the data obtained were analyzed through multiple regression tests which first tested the normality distribution of the data, symptoms of heteroscedasticity and multicollinearity. The results obtained from the research conducted stated that the data were normally distributed, there were no symptoms of heteroscedasticity and multicollinearity so that the test was continued with parametric statistical analysis. So it can be concluded that the principal's leadership partially has a significant influence on teacher performance. Likewise, school culture has a significant influence on teacher performance in partial testing. In simultaneous testing, it was stated that the principal's leadership and school culture had a significant influence on the performance of kindergarten teachers in the Banyuasin III sub-district, Banyuasin Regency.
