Abstract

Pressure injury (PI) is still a problem in health and home care both in developing and developed countries. PI is important to prevent because it has an impact on the physical, psychological, social, and economic aspects of the patient. One of the preventions of pressure injury is to choose the right textile, therefore this literature review aims to identify the right textile and can control microclimate in preventing PI. The Method used by searching the literature of scientific publications in the time of years between 2009-2019 using database Pubmed, Science Direct, Willey Online Library, Cochrane Library dan Google Scholar, there were 2.152 articles. The results of the literature review found six articles that fit the inclusion criteria and related to the use of textiles that can control microclimate in preventing pressure injury including textiles made from synthetic fabrics of silk, polyester, and synthetic fiber. Synthetic fiber textiles are best used as bedding because they control microclimate and reduce friction that can prevent the development of pressure injury.

Abstract

The impact of online game dependence includes aggressive behavior, lack of respect for other people, and threatening persecution. Playing games will not be controlled if parents do not supervise or set limits. Time out is expected to reduce the intensity of playing online games in school-age children. This study aims to determine the effect of time out by parents on the intensity of playing games in school-age children. The design of this study was an experiment with one group pre-test post-test. Respondents were 50 parents with school-age children who had moderate and high-intensity games. Time out interventions (isolation time out) are carried out by parents with a time adjusting the child's age, carried out for 5 days. The intensity of gameplay describes the duration of gameplay in a day, the classification is low, moderate, and high. The results showed that the intensity of playing games before being given time out was mostly in high classification (54%). Statistical test results indicate that there is a time out by parents of the intensity of playing games in school-age children (p= 0.0001).

Abstract

Nutrient labels provided information regarding food production and lead to healthy eating. Prior health and nutrient literacy skills could support effective food label usage. Nurses needed to have good literacy skills during the education process. This study aimed to identify knowledge in reading the nutrient label and packaged food consumption in nursing students. This study used a quantitative descriptive research design. The sample was recruited from all students at the Faculty of Nursing with 42% of the response rate obtained (n= 229). Data were collected using a nutrient label questionnaire (20 items) and FFQ (83 items). Data were analyzed using a univariate method. The result showed that 55.5% of nursing students had good knowledge of reading nutrient labels. There were 5 types of processed food that most consumed by nursing students consisting of yogurt (59.8%), pudding (50.2%), chocolate bar (55.9%), cake (54.6%), and processed meatballs (54.1%). Based on the results, it can be concluded that the nutrient label knowledge of nursing students was good enough, but there needed to be an even distribution of nutrients label knowledge across the entire student stage. This can be achieved by taking several actions to increase health literacy, for instance, nutrient label booklet and nutrient label cards.
