Abstract

The rapid growth of MSMEs in West Java and the decline in consumer purchasing power due to the pandemic can cause MSME to innovate their products and carry out broader marketing/promotion strategies to survive and compete with similar businesses. MSME can use a website to increase product marketing as one of the promotional media. The advantage of a website can reach consumers widely, globally, and anyone can access it anywhere. Kirihuci is one of the SMEs from Bandung West Java, with good potential business but has not used the website as a promotional medium. The purpose of this study was to design the Kirihuci SMEs website using the Design Thinking method. The method focused on the user interface, user empathy, and user experience. Mixed-method is the research method, by conducting observations, interviews, distributing questionnaires, and searching for data literature through books or journals related to research. The results obtained in this study are the application of the Design Thinking method to the design of the Kirihuci UMKM website has provided convenience for its users. The results are from user feedback carried out at the usability testing stage regarding the appearance of the website interface design with good results.

Abstract

The dissemination and promotion are very important for an independent music records label business. However, with the change in consumer behaviour, conventional ways of disseminating information through radio, television, or magazine/newspaper advertisements are no longer relevant and too much expensive. The use of social media and websites are potential efforts to be developed. But, the dissemination of information and promotion through social media are very limited to algorithms and technological capabilities. The importance of website could be very an effective medium for records label players. Website can create many varieties content informations and product campaigns. Moreover, with changes in consumer behaviour in consuming recorded music, there is a need for an ideal means of information and promotion to consumers. Through a design thinking approach, this design will focus on the needs of the end-user through the stages of empathy, define, ideation, prototype, and test. This series of processes are the stages that will be carried out in designing this website. Making this website can be an access to information and promotion for independent record labels, which so far have had various limitations. With the presence of this website, it is also expected to encourage information dissemination, access to promotions and marketing, as well as user data needs that can encourage the creation of various economic opportunities.

Abstract

Poster sebagai sebuah media berfungsi untuk menyampaikan informasi kepada masyarakat luas dengan tujuan menumbuhkan kesadaran dan mampu mengubah prilaku masyarakat ke arah yang lebih baik untuk kepentingan bersama atau bersifat sosial. Kementerian Pariwisata Ekonomi Kreatif Republik Indonesia (Kemenparekraf RI ) ‘Yuk Kurangi Sampah Plastik Mu!’ dan tidak menutup kemungkinan dari hasil peninjauan terhadap unsur visual ditemukan suatu pemaknaan melalui pesan visual atau verbal yang diinformasikan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Temuan utama dari penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah meninjau aspek-aspek visual pada desain poster Iklan Layanan Masyarakat konsep ide dan gagasan merepresentasikan konsep didasari dengan kebiasaan membuang sampah sembarangan bagi para turisme lokal yang berkunjung ke tempat- tempat objek wisata. Secara umum, persoalan sampah sangat rumit dan sulit diatasi, hal ini dikarenakan kebiasaan masyarakat yang sering membuang sampah sembarangan. Maka dari itu, Kemenparekraf RI merancang sebuah poster Iklan Layanan Masyarakat yang unsur visualnya mampu environment sustainability). Berdasarkan tinjauan unsur visual poster ini sudah menerapkan prinsip-prinsip desain grafis yang baik, sehingga pesan dan informasi yang disampaikan mudah dimengerti.

Abstract

During the colonial era of the Nusantara kingdoms, photos could be said to be a luxury item, only some people from certain groups had a photo of themselves, Raden Adipati Soeria Nata Ningrat was the one who had a portraiture photo, so it is interesting to study his photo. Studies related to portrait photos of Raden Adipati Soeria Nata Ningrat using Primadi Tabrani Bahasa Rupa have never been done before. From the portrait photo, a study can be carried out using Primadi Tabrani's Bahasa Rupa, to analyze the message to be conveyed from the photo of Raden Adipati Soeria Nata Ningrat, especially from the symbol of social status. Where the symbol of social status can be seen from the attributes of the clothes worn, such as the motifs on the clothes, the position of the keris, to the selection of batik worn in portrait photos.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to utilize information technology in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic in designing websites that are useful in promoting types of businesses for the Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises sector. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative which focuses on the design process which begins with organizing the concept to the website of the work produced. The result of this research is the design of the Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises website using the wix.com application as a model in designing the website, because the researcher wants to know the process of making a website using the application without losing the design principles and the user interface. So in this study, we can find out the website design process using the wix.com application which is considered easier to use, easy to access, and practical.

Abstract

The application of the user interface is very important for those who develop media in assessing the success of an interactive multimedia design. Ideally a media can function according to the plan and can meet the needs and desires of its users. If planning and analysis are not clear, it can cause problems that will have an impact on development activities. This study will provide an overview of the implementation of the user interface with the prototyping method in interactive multimedia development activities, with the hope of producing a prototype design as one of the first steps in a digital media development activity. The prototype is made with the aim of providing a common perception and initial understanding of the basic process of the user interface to be developed, so that there will be good communication between developers and system users. The results of this study can be used as a reference or reference for interactive multimedia design developers who have followed the prototyping steps in a structured manner, thus providing a clear process for users and observers of the science of developing interactive multimedia design.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Game Fate/Grand Order merupakan salah satu game yang memiliki gameplay strategy seperti game kartu yang cara bermainnya bergantian sesi antara player dan enemy pada suatu daerah dan cerita yang dimiliki oleh karakter berupa pahlawan pada masa dan daerahnya tersebut. Dalam game tersebut pahlawan akan disebut sebagai Servant atau pahlawan yang akan dikoleksi menjadi berbagai macam karakter sehingga memiliki lebih dari 1000 cerita yang tersedia. Dalam penelitian ini menganalisis visual karakter dalam game Fate/Grand Order yaitu Arjuna. Permasalahannya pada penelitian ini adalah bagaimana ciri-ciri fisik dan pemaknaan visual karakter Arjuna yang terdapat dalam game Fate/Grand Order. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis deskriptif, Teknik pengolahan identifikasi data secara visual dengan wayang orang dalam cerita mahabharata, teknik analisis data deskriptif menggunakan semiotika. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, diketahui bahwa ciri fisik Arjuna terinspirasi dari tokoh legendaris Arjuna dalam cerita India Mahabharata. Karakter Arjuna dalam Game Fate/Grand Order dapat mencitrakan Arjuna yang tenang, berwibawa, dan dapat mensupport rekan-rekan seperjuangan karena terlihat dari pakaian yang bertarung pada garis belakang dan panah. Karakter Arjuna dapat membuat sebuah cerita rakyat dapat dilestarikan dalam Game agar cerita rakyat tidak dilupakan dengan mudah.
