Abstract

The problem in this research is that there are some students who are known to have smoked in MTs Al-Azhar. The purpose of this study was to determine differences in the level of smoking behavior before and after students treated. The method used is experimental method with type pre-experimental design in the form of One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The method of solving the problem is to provide information services using audiovisual media on the sample after the pre-test. The population is the entire class VIII MTs Al-Azhar and the sample is one class of 30 students. The sampling technique in this research is purposive sampling. Data analysis techniques used in this study are descriptive statistics and inferential statistics Wilcoxon test with the help of SPSS application version 22. Based on the results of descriptive analysis obtained pretest results of 37% and posttest of 32%. Then based on Wilcoxon test statistical analysis results with the help of SPSS 22 applications obtained Zhitung of -3.817 with 5% significance level of 0.05 and Asymp.Sig = 0,000. Because Asymp.Sig = 0.000 <0.05, Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected so it can be concluded that there is a significant difference of smoking behavior of grade VIII students of MTs Al Azhar Alalak Sub-district, Barito Kuala District in the year 2017/2018 between before and after given information service using audiovisual media. Keywords: Information Services; Audiovisual Media; Smoking Behavior

Abstract

Learning activities at school, we are faced with a number of diverse student characteristics. There are students who can take their learning activities smoothly and successfully without experiencing difficulties, but on the other hand not a few students who actually experience difficulties. For this reason, it is necessary to be interested in conducting a research.This study uses qualitative methods to examine the natural object conditions where the researcher is a key instrument of data source sampling conducted purposively, collection techniques with triangulation, qualitative data analysis is inductive, and the results of qualitative research emphasize the meaning rather than generalization. Qualitative research relies on a natural background holistically, positioning humans as a research tool, conducting data analysis inductively, prioritizing the process rather than the results and the results of research conducted agreed by researchers and research subjects.The results of observation, interviews and documentation, the authors conclude that the BK Teacher at SMP NEGERI 3 Banjarbaru plays an active role in the learning that takes place in school, including BK teachers acting as educators who become role models for students, facilitators whose task is to provide ease of learning, advisors who help in each problems experienced by students. The BK teacher must work together with the subject teacher in order to know and monitor the extent to which students have difficulty learning so that the BK teacher can provide the right solution for each student with different characteristics. Keywords: Individual Counseling, Learning Difficulti

Abstract

This research is based on phenomena that occur in the Bhakti Bangsa Vocational School which shows that many students commit violations and school rules. The purpose of this research is to overcome school undisciplined behavior through counseling with contractual engineering behavioral approaches.The type of research used is handling cases. Research focus is behavior that often violates discipline. Data collection methods used are observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis used is data reduction, data review and description. Research subjects are students who have undisciplined behavior problems.The results showed that the fourth counseling before counseling had undisciplined behavior in school. There are students caught storing indecent videos so that they are embarrassed and do not want to go to school for a few days, often do not go to class without explanation, often skip school because they like to play online games at the cafe, often go home sooner before the school bell rings. After being given counseling services with behavioral contractual behavioral approach, counselees begin to understand the importance of school.Overall counseling conclusions on counselees who have undisciplined behavior can be overcome through individual counseling with a contractual behavioral approach. It is proven that there are behavioral changes that are not disciplined to be more disciplined. School counselors are expected to be able to overcome the problem of students through counseling and guidance services, especially counseling with a contractual behavioral approach to address undisciplined behavior, accompanying, motivating and always monitoring the counselee's progress in order to continue to commit to no more school discipline violations. The headmaster is expected to be able to facilitate the counselor in the implementation of guidance and counseling services and supervise the development of problematic students. Keywords: Discipline, Behavior Approach, Guidance and Counseling Teachers

Abstract

Adolescence is a time of changing life dependence on others. Teenagers begin to determine their way of life. During undergoing the formation of maturity in attitude, various mental changes occur, maybe even shock. Such conditions are strongly influenced by the environment in which he lives. On the other hand teenagers often do not have a place to complain to solve the problems they face. So that as a teenager escape often falls, such as smoking, drinking, narcotics, free sex, and other criminal acts.In this study, researchers used qualitative research methods with descriptive types. The source of the data in this study is the Guidance and Counseling teacher and some problematic students who are known through the interview process with data sources, namely the Guidance and Counseling teacher.The results of this study indicate that the Handling of Efforts carried out by the Guidance and Counseling teacher in overcoming the problems of students in Banjarbaru National Vocational High School is to find the background of the problems faced by students, so the BK teacher and the school are able to solve the problem by looking at the factors or causes why students experience or get the problem. And to give a deterrent effect to students who are in trouble, the BK teacher will give mild or severe sanctions depending on the problems made by students.Efforts that have been made to overcome the problem of students with procedures in the process of handling the problem is to find the cause of the problem and then provide direction and guidance advice so that students are able to understand and the same error does not happen again. Abstract

Broken home is usually used to describe a family that is not harmonious and does not walk like a harmonious and prosperous family due to frequent conflicts that cause disputes that can even lead to divorce. This will have a major impact on the household atmosphere that is no longer conducive, parents no longer pay attention to their children, thus triggering negative behavior in development, especially in the psychological child. This research of individual counseling counseling services for broken home students aims to determine the role of individual counseling services from students who are Broken Home, as well as to find out how students can obtain motivation in learning at school.This research is the type of interview. The interviews used in the study were false in structure. The purpose of this type of interview is to find the problem more openly, where the parties invited to the interview are asked for their opinions and ideas (Sugiyono, 2007). Data analysis techniques performed on the analysis activities in this study focused on the data collection process taking place in the form of: reduction, display data, conclusion / verification miles and huberman.The results of this study are students who are Broken Home in order to have a high sense of responsibility for themselves, besides that they should not do negative actions that can harm themselves and the future, and are advised to study diligently and diligently so as to increase their motivation for achievement. For Guidance and Counseling Teachers at the school concerned to give more serious attention and guidance to students from the Broken Home family as a motivation and motivation to learn in order to get better performance. Keywords: Broken Home, Counseling, and motivation
