Abstract

This study aims to identify 1) the source of production risk in some indigenous leaf vegetables, especially basil 2) the level of risks encountered, and 3) formulate strategies tocontrol the risk of production of indigenous leaf vegetable. The research was conducted in Kecamatan Kadudampit Sukabumi, the method of sampling used simple random sampling.The number of farmers were 42 farmers. In specialization activities, the method to process risk data used are analysis of variance, standard deviation and coefficient of variation. Theresults showed that the source of production risk faced by farmers were weather / climate, pest and disease diseases and seed quality. The expected return value of basil commodityRp.1.801.204 with the risk level of losses was 0.382 or 38%. Strategies that could be done to reduced the risk was the diversification activity with . timing and appropriate commodities of diversification activities, plan intercropping cropping pattern between two combination basil with lettuce were 60% and 40% and basil with gourd were 60% and 40%, risk managementin production through preventive strategies with improvement of physical facilities and mitigation strategies with pest and disease controls encountered.Keywords: basil, variance analysis, standard deviation, coefficient of variation, risk management.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui keragaan pengolahan pisang menjadi Keripik dan Sale Pisang, nilai tambah serta marjin pemasaran. Pengambilan data dilaksanakan diKelurahan Dangdeur Kecamatan Subang dari bulan Agustus 2014 sampai September 2014. Metode penelitian menggunakan analisis deskriptif untuk menjelaskan keragaan pengolahan pisang, analisis nilai tambah menggunakan Analisis Hayami, marjin pemasaran menggunakan analisis marjin pemasaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keragaanAgroindustri Sale Pisang Industri Kecil “Srikandi” terdiri dari pengadaan bahan baku pisang dan pengolahan pisang. Nilai tambah dari pengolahan pisang menjadi Keripik Pisang adalahRp2.607,53 per kg dengan rasio 27,04 persen yang tergolong bernilai tambah sedang yaitu 15–40%. Nilai Tambah yang diperoleh dari pengolahan pisang menjadi Sale Pisang adalahRp3.217,91 per kg dengan rasio 42,27 persen, ini menunjukkan nilai tambah usaha pengolahan pisang menjadi Sale Pisang berkategori tinggi, di atas 40%. Harga jual KeripikPisang di tingkat produsen (Industri Kecil “Srikandi”) Rp40.000,00. Pada saluran pemasaran tingkat I didapatkan margin Rp17.542,96. Pada saluran II pengecer tetap membeli Keripik Pisang ke produsen seharga Rp40.000,00, marjin yang didapat adalah Rp10.000,00. Harga jual Sale Pisang di tingkat produsen Rp40.000,00. Pada saluran pemasaran I, marjin yangdidapat Rp24.507,62. Pada saluran II pengecer tetap membeli Sale Pisang ke produsen seharga Rp40.000,00. Marjin yang didapat adalah Rp 10.000,00.Kata kunci: Keragaan, Nilai Tambah, Marjin Pemasaran, Keripik Pisang, Sale Pisang

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of the perception and satisfaction of the community to CSR and its impact on socioeconomic in Bogor regency. Questionnairewere distributed to 250 respondents . Likert scale was used prior to testing with multiple regression. The results showed that the implementation of CSR programs in Bogor has been done quite effectively. Perception and satisfaction of the community have an influence simultaneously and partially on CSR. The CSR activities in education, health , environment , increasing of desire and basic human needs and security simultaneously have influences towards the socio-economic communities. Partially, education has no effect on socioeconomic condition. The implementation strategy of using Importance Performance Analysis ( IPA ). The strategies which have been generated are 1 ) making ongoing improvements so that the performance attributes ( CSR programs expectancy ) will be increased ; 2 ) maintaining so that the performance will not be declined; 3 ) should be managed seriously because community usually can lead to a disappointment ; 4 ) evaluating all activitiesKeywords : CSR program, Community Satisfaction and Social Economic of the community

Abstract

This study was aimed at assessing the extension activities conducted in Hurip Farmer Group, Cikarawang Village, Dramaga District, Bogor Regency. It was also done to assess farmers’ income level and extension performa.  A descriptive analysis was used.  Respondents were farmers aged 26-60 years. They had various education and farming experience levels. They had elementary school education with 3-20 years farming experience, junior high school education with 5-10 farming experience, and senior high school education with 3-20 years farming experience.  The average income gained by these farmers was Rp 9,850,000/1 ha with an income over cash cost of Rp5,675,000/1 ha. The R/C over cash cost value in this sweet potato farming business was 1.72 indicating that this business was profitable and feasible.  It was concluded that extension activities in Hurip Farmert Group was done well and farmers’ income improvement-oriented. Key words: extension. farmer income, sweet potatoes

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify and assess the consumer characteristics of chrysanthemum plants at Pusat Promosi dan Pemasaran Bunga dan Tanaman Hias Rawa Belong, West Jakarta, and analyze consumer preferences towards attributes chrysanthemum plants andanalyze the level of customer satisfaction of chrysanthemum plants. The analysis used is descriptive analysis, Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) using Minitab 16 and the analysisof Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI). The results showed the average level of performance of chrysanthemum plants was 4,07 and the average level of consumer interest is 4,19 with acompliance rate of 97,06%, so it can be said that the performance of chrysanthemum plants have to meet consumer expectations. CSI value amounted to 81,87% at an interval of 80-100% can be interpreted so that consumers are satisfied with the performance of the marketing mix PusP2BTH Rawa Belong West Jakarta.Keywords: Consumer Preferences, Chrysanthemum, IPA, CSI

Abstract

This study was aimed to identify internal and external factors in BFFFG, develope alternative strategies to conduct SWOT analysis. The study was done in Kedisan Village, KintamaniDistrict, Bangli Regency, Bali. Data were collected for 4 months from 12 June to 2 October 2006 through direct interview by using open questionnaires and discussion. IFE, EFE, andSWOT analysis. Based on the results of SWOT analysis, strategies were developed. These included introducing ”Bali Fresh” products to areas outside Bali island, maintaining thecompany’s marketing strategies, and utilizing abandoned vegetables to open new opportunity for the company. Several recommendations given were : the establishment of kindergarten for children of partner farmers, adding more young labors, transparency on harvested product price. For PT DIF Nusantara, it was recommended that new consumers be sought in order to reduce wasted vegetables.Keywords: Strategy, Working time allocation, SWOT
