Abstract

The existence of Jl. Kol. Burlian - Jl. Tanjung Api Api junction becomes very strategic because it becomes the entrance and exit of Palembang city. The intersection is access to several places such as Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport, Tanjung Api-Api Port, and the border road to Banyuasin. The position of Jl. Kol. Burlian - Jl. Tanjung Api Api junction which is very strategic cause the long queue of vehicles causing traffic jam. To overcome this the South Sumatra Provincial Government will build a fly over at Jl. Kol. Burlian - Jl. Tanjung Api Api junction. Basically the construction of this fly over as an effort to reduce the volume density of vehicles that accumulate at Jl. Kol. Burlian - Jl. Tanjung Api Api junction. The result of calculation using MKJI method calculation, the delay value before the existing fly over or signal condition is 46 seconds / smp, while the length of delay after the fly over dropped dramatically to 16 seconds / smp. Likewise with the calculation using the VISSIMprogram, the results obtained are not much different from the MKJI method, which is 45.23 seconds / smp for the condition before the fly over, and 15.18 seconds / smp for the condition after the fly over. Thus, the development of an efficient fly over in reducing the length of vehicle delays at Jl. Kol. Burlian - Jl. Tanjung Api Api junction, so it is expected to overcome the congestion that always occurs at the intersection.

Abstract

Landslide is one of the most common problems in improving road structures. One of the landslide cases occurred in the area of Kikim Besar, Lahat District precisely at Km.256. To obtain an optimal solution of the problem requires proper analysis in the reinforcement of the slope. In this study used an alternative slope reinforcement by using sheet pile or geogrid reinforcement. The purpose of this research is to know the condition of natural slope stability at that location and the effect of stability slope change with retrofitting structure using sheet pile or geogrid. This research uses modeling with Plaxis 2D program. Modeling was made to obtain the safety factor values on the natural slopes on the slopes 1-1, 2-2, and 3-3 pieces, comparing the safety factor of each slope before and after the reinforcement, and comparing the safety factor of each slope after reinforcement using geogrid type UX 1700 and sheet pile type W325 A 1000. From the research results obtained that the strengthening of geogrid and sheet pile can increase the value of slope safety factor. The sheet pile modeling has the greatest safety factor value for each slope of 1.794 for slopes 2-2 and 1,532 for slopes 3-3 compared with geogrid reinforcement that produces a safety factor value of 1,325 for slopes 2-2 and 1,343 for slopes 3-3 pieces.

Abstract

Roads are road transport infrastructures covering all sections of the road, including auxiliary buildings and equipment intended for traffic, located on the soil surface, above the soil surface, below ground and / or water, and above the water surface, except roads trains, lorries, and cable roads. Public roads are roads dedicated to general traffic. Parts of the Road are parts of the road covering the road space, road space, and road control room. (Regulation of the Minister of Public Works, Number: 20 / PRT / M / 2010). There is a term that states that 3 (three) main enemies of the road are the first water, second water and third also water. From it can be stated that water, one of which rain water causes damage or reduce the durability of a road construction.pengaruh curah hujan terhadap karakteristik Rigid Pavement dan kuat tekan beton. Abstract

Ground improvement techniques are commonly performed on peat soil is improved physically using geosynthetic materials. The often used is geotextile. In this study the use of geotextile replaced with the use of a tarpaulin and bamboo grid. They are used as reinforcement materials that is expected to be an alternative to increase the bearing capacity of peat soil which is used as the based of shallow foundation. The aim of this study is to determine the increase in the bearing capacity of variation in depth of reinforcement to the base foundation (0,25B; 0,5B; 1B) and variation in width of reinforcement (2B, 3B, 4B) to the value of bearing capacity withouth reinforcement. The research methodologies used is laboratory-testing. The data obtained from these tests were analyzed by comparing the value of bearing capacity between unreinforced soils and reinfoces soils reffered as Bearing Capacity Ratio (BCR). The results showed that the variation in the depth of the tarpaulin and bamboo on the basic foundation of the grid did not always show a rise greater carrying capacity , however, wide variations in accretion reinforcement always indicates an increase in the carrying capacity of the land. In the distance variation of reinforcement to the foundation, the maximum increase is shown at a depth of 0,5 B with a width of reinforcement for the 4B qu at 20,44 kPa. The largest value of BCR is variation in depth of reinforcement to the base foundation 0,5 B and variation in width of reinforcement 4B with a value of 3,78 and a percent increase of 277,8 %.

Abstract

The influence of land cover and intensity is one of the factors that influence the value of surface flow coefficient (C). The coefficient value will affect the surface flow occurs during peak discharge. In this research, calculate surface coefficient (C) with variation intensity 40 mm/h, 50 mm/h, 60 mm/h, 70 mm/h for land cover paving block (brick pattern and matting pattern), grass block , mini elephant grass, sand and concrete pavement. This test is expected to be the solution in choosing the right type of land cover as a substitute for concrete pavement in the parking lot, park, or home or office yard. The implementation methodology was carried out by laboratory testing with rainfall simulator, 4 cm high base layer of sand and various land cover around 4 cm. The test that carried out in this study include filter analysis, rain intensity and surface coefficient value (C) testing. Testing value of coefficient including the test using rational formulas and testing by definition (Scwab, 1981 and Mc Guen, 1989). The result of this research obtained coefficient of land cover paving block pattern of stacking brick 0,857-0,891, in land cover paving block matting pattern 0,825-0,856, while at grass block 0,677-0,765. The coefficient of surface flow (C) for concrete pavement cover is 0.961-0,997, mini elephant grass cover is 0,483-0,538, while without land cover is 0,559-0,639. The value of surface flow coefficient (C) is getting bigger with increased rain intensity and land cover that has fewer gaps, in this case there is a significant difference in the paving block and grass block.

Abstract

Musi Rawas Regency is the best fish producing district in South Sumatera. This area needs a place for fish trade and processing. This study aims to determine the location of development of minapolitan areas, as a center of sales and fish processing. There are 3 districts that can be used as an alternative location of minabisnis area development in Musi Rawas Regency , namely Tugumulyo, Purwodadi, and Muara Beliti Subdistricts. The AHP method is used to determine which location is best as minapolitan. The result of survey shows that the choice of minabisnis development area in Tugumulyo sub district has a value of 125.37, the location in Muara Beliti sub-district has a value of 44,36, and location in Purwodadi has a value of 31,30. The mapping survey in Tugumulyo sub-district also shows that this area is appropriate to de developed as a minapolitan location.
