CANTILEVER merupakan jurnal penelitian dan kajian teknik sipil yang menyajikan hasil-hasil penelitian di bidang struktur, transportasi, pengembangan sumberdaya air, geoteknik, manajemen infrastruktur, dan rekayasa lingkungan serta arsitektur. Cantilever pertama kali diterbitkan pada tahun 2006 dalam versi cetak. Sejak tahun 2015, cantilever diterbitkan baik dalam versi cetak maupun online (e-journal). Jurnal ini dikelola dan diterbitkan oleh Jurusan Teknik Sipil Fakultas Teknik Universitas Sriwijaya. Cantilever terbit 2 (dua) kali dalam setahun, yaitu pada April dan Oktober.

Abstract

Increasing demand of housing facilities has an impact on the change of land function of an area that originally forest or garden turned into a residential area. Unbalanced water surface and ground surface are the effect of the unbalanced hydrologic cycle. Volume increased and runoff, infiltration capability and groundwater decreased levels are due to hydrological cycle imbalances. That is why water management is needed in order to create a balance of water resources. One way to realize the idea is to apply rainwater harvesting methods to a residential area that is a method of collecting rainwater that is stored in a storage tank for then the water that has been collected can be reused as an alternative source of clean water. The purpose of this research is to aims the potential of rainwater that can be harvested in G-Land Padalarang Housing area, so it can be used as a source of clean water as well as efforts to maintain groundwater availability and balance of hydrological cycle. The method is by using rational method. The data used are primary data and secondary data which then analyzed based on hydrologic and hydraulics analysis. From the analysis result, by applying rainwater harvesting method in G-Land Padalarang Housing area, the volume of water that can be harvested with rainfall 2,929 mm / year and the catchment area of 66 m2 is 173,983 liter / year and can save ground water usage of 52 % of total needs.

Abstract

Road pavement is structural section of traffic lane which has central position in road body. Road pavement age is related to surface durability which can be influenced by oil spill accidently especially for gasoline, diesel oil and lubricant brought by vehicle, so it may decrease road and service age. Because of that, this research will detect the fact of influences by spilling oil out to Lataston-WC. In planning pavement layer model, mix and material testing must be done. There were 15 normal samples in this research with KAR (Pb) to define KAO value and 24 samples with KAO value to be soaked with fuel and lubricant in duration vary from 1, 3 and 5 minutes. Marshall test was done by 1 hour later. Then, it was analyzed and concluded. The result showed that asphalt optimum capacity reached 6,7% which then samples be made and soaked in fuel and lubricant. For normal mix samples, stability value reached 1951,87 kg and soaked samples with 5 minutes duration reached 511,56 kg. It can be concluded that duration of soaking also influences in decreasing stability value.

Abstract

The increasing number of aircraft passenger has resulted in the density of Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport. The impact of this density is the long queue in the check-in area that makes the convenience decrease especially in the peak hours. The purpose of this research is to know how the characteristics of passengers and to model the needs of a convenient check-in area for prospective passengers in conducting check-in process. This research method is descriptive, cross tabulation and modeling Multiple Linear Regression.

Abstract

Muara Enim road segment SP. Sugihwaras very potential to occur landslide based on its location which is on the edge of the river. Recorded by the National Road Implementation Institute (BBPJN) III has been a slope grid in 2014. Slope improvement efforts undertaken by the Ministry of Public Works using a combination of gabion not too successfully overcome the problem. In addition to the strength element of a construction work, the cost and timing of the implementation are also important considerations in planning. Slope at 173 + 535 - Km 173 + 705 along 170 m using soil nailing planned three nails with 19 mmnail diameter and angular slope of 20° with variation of nail length, nail installation spacing, safety factor (SF) and estimated working time to the cost. Using the SPSS.16.0 program, the variations are modeled by nine samples as multiple linear regression equations. Based on the SPSS output, then tested the classical assumption and feasibility test model which produced the model: Cost (million) = - 3159,475 - 54,097 length - 1354,256 distance + 5188,127 SF + 26,483 time. The Budget Plan (RAB) covers preparatory work, drainage system, soil nailing, and shotcrete. An efficient cost estimate of 8 m length nail, 1.5m installation distance, 1.5 safety factor and 64-day working time resulted in a cost of Rp. 3.853.485.500,00 (Three billion eight hundred fifty three million four hundred eighty five thousand rupiah).

Abstract

The development of transportation is now very rapid, especially the existing transportation on land. The development of transportation in Palembang City is also accompanied by problems that are no less complex than the progress. The problems that occur especially in the existing transportation network, the intersection of which is the meeting of two or more roads into a critical point of the occurrence of traffic congestion. Looking at the growth rate of traffic is increasing from year to year in the city of Palembang, so for the future there will be problems of intersection capacity that can no longer accommodate the flow of traffic. Based on the calculation of MKJI 1997 analysis, with the development of Fly Over Sp.Bandara-Tanjung Api-Api and the influence of construction of LRT (Light Rail Transit) of South Sumatra can reduce the level of delays at Simpang Bandara - Tanjung Api-Api, where before the development of value Level of service (LOS) E of 57 dtk / smp after construction of Fly over Sp.Bandara-Tanjung api-api (predicted 2018) increased to a service level / service level (LOS) C value of 18.03 sec / smp and predicted 5 years after development (Prediction year 2023) into value of service level or level of service (LOS) C equal to 18,58 dtk / smp.

Abstract

Sistem pengangkutan sampah berhubungan dengan biaya dalam pengelolaannya. Semakin jauh rute pelayanan dan semakin banyak jumlah ritasi truk maka semakin besar pula biaya operasional yang harus dikeluarkan. Dari pengamatan yang telah dilakukan, TPS-TPS di wilayah Seberang Ulu kota Palembang berjarak cukup jauh dari TPA Sukawinatan. Hal ini mempengaruhi waktu pengangkutan dan biaya angkut sampah. Sistem pengangkutan sampah di wilayah Seberang Ulu Kota Palembang menggunakan Hauled Container System (HCS) dan Stationary Container System (SCS). Hasil analisis aktivitas pengangkutan sampah didapatkan waktu rata-rata untuk pengangkutan dalam satu kali ritasi perhari dengan armroll truck adalah 2,88 jam/hari dan jumlah ritasi rata-rata per hari adalah sebanyak 2,28 ritasi/hari dan armroll truck dengan nomor lambung 81 merupakan armroll truck dengan biaya angkut sampah/m3/hari yang paling mahal yaitu sebesar Rp 15.147,2, sedangkan dengan dump truck didapatkan waktu rata-rata untuk pengangkutan dalam satu kali ritasi perhari adalah 4,77 jam/hari, dan jumlah ritasi rata-rata per hari adalah sebanyak 1,475 ritasi/hari, dan dump truck dengan nomor lambung 71 merupakan dump truck dengan biaya angkut sampah/m3/hari yang paling mahal yaitu sebesar Rp 37.281,8. Dari hasil analisis dapat dilihat bahwa nilai efektifitas yang lebih besar adalah sistem HCS dan biaya angkut sampah menggunakan armroll truck lebih murah dibandingkan dengan dump truck.
