Abstract

Measurement of ascorbic acid in fruits can be implemented by various methods. The method often used to measure ascorbic acid levels is the iodometric titration method. In this research applying digital image processing with color segmentation to measure levels of ascorbic acid using iodimetry titration method, because end point indicator of titration is a change of blue color in the titration solvent. From the research, digital image processing is capable to detect the blue color changes in the titration solvent. Measurement of ascorbic acid level in lime fruit by implementing digital image processing with color space transformation to HSV showed that the average ascorbic acid content was 0.037% and an average error value of 17.54%.

Abstract

Supporting the implementation of effective learning process, can not be separated from the use of teaching materials that is module. Modules are also developed in electronic form / format called emodules E-module Is an interactive module that displays / loads images, audio, video and animations that are packaged in a Web base of hydrocarbon compound subjects. Educators are expected to teach  the  learning in the real world so that students are able to remember, understand, and apply the science in everyday life called contextual learning. Techniques of data collection using interviews, questionnaires and observations used to obtain data aspects of functionality and usability. The instrument used in the aspect of functionality using four Likert scales is very feasible, feasible, less feasible, and not feasible. For usability instrument use four likert scale that strongly agree, agree, disagree, and disagree. In portability aspect use 4 web browser that is Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, and Opera as testing. On the efficiency aspect of using GTMetri application that produces 2 tests, namely YSlow put forward by Yahoo Developer Network and PageSpeed Insights recommended by Google Developer. From the result of data analysis, the functionality aspect of the media expert produces the value of functionality (X) of 1. For the data of the functionality aspect of the material expert gives a value of 90.79% which indicates a very feasible value. From the test results portability aspect using 4 types of web browsers to produce data in the form of all web browsers succeed, but there is a problem in the resolution that resulted in the display becomes small. From the results of the efficiency resulted in an average score of pagespeed of 97.5% and for the yslow score yielded an average score of 96.5%. Abstract

The problems faced in the agricultural sector are very huge, from the availability of land, energy, seasonal changes, pest, to crop failure. The development of modern technology is expected to help overcome some of the problems that occur. In this study will integrate microcontroller technology in agriculture. The research method starts from the stage of making greenhouses starting with designing images of smart greenhouse models. Then the stage of making a greenhouse frame from wood, for the manufacture of plant shelf frames using iron, assembling electric power generating components, making automatic control systems on the greenhouse, making formulas on Arduino Uno, testing the temperature and humidity in the greenhouse, making the plant rack manipulator on the smart  greenhouse. The short-term goal of this control system is expected to help the performance of farmers  or greenhouse management officers in controlling the watering of the crops they plant in the greenhouse, so that one day the manager does not have to always go to the greenhouse when they want to water the plants or check soil moisture.The trial was carried out for 30 days with soil temperature and humidity parameters The result, when the air temperature in the greenhouse is more than 32 C, the fan will turn on. The fan causes hot air to come out. when the temperature reaches 25 C the fan will turn off. Then when the soil moisture value on the LCD shows 17.11%, the water pump will turn on. Water from the pump is flowed to the plant media to keep the soil moist. when the value of soil moisture exceeds 70.31%, the water pump will automatically turn off. From this result, the system can be applied in building integrated farming systems and smart greenhouses.

Abstract

Oyster mushrooms besides good also have many benefits for health but in its cultivation requires a fairly complicated treatment. Mushroom farmers have difficulty in regulating temperature and humidity in real time. If the temperature and humidity of the environment where the mushrooms grow is not as needed, it will inhibit the growth of fungi. To overcome this problem, it is proposed to make an Internet of Things based temperature and humidity control device. In this study the main components used are the Dht11 sensor and Arduino Uno and connected via Android via the Esp826601 module. The temperature and humidity suitable for oyster mushrooms are not 25oC and not 75%. The temperature and air humidity are detected by the Dht11 sensor and the measurement results from Dht11 are displayed on Lcd then the temperature and humidity values are sent to the android user via the Esp8266-01 module. The function of this android is besides being used to display  the value of temperature and humidity also functions as a remote controller, there are 2 buttons to  turn on / off the Dc Fan and the Water Faucet. Dc fan serves to increase the humidity of the air if the humidity is less according to the needs of the fungus and the water faucet serves to reduce the temperature if the temperature in the kumbung is too hot. The use of the internet of things concept  aims to facilitate the work of mushroom farmers because farmers can monitor temperature and humidity and take action through their androids even though farmers are far from the mushroom cultivation site as long as the device is connected to the internet network

Abstract

Meat needs, especially beef, are increasingly increasing, because human awareness of the importance of nutritional needs derived from animal meat. The high demand for beef needs has resulted in farmers and cattle traders trying to sell as many animals as possible. Farmers and cattle traders in Indonesia are still largely unprofessional. For the sake of getting a lot of profit, it was time to takeaction that harmed cattle and consumers. One such action is to sell “glonggongan” meat which is to increase the mass / weight of beef by giving excessive drinking water before the cow is cut. One way to overcome this action is to provide information to buyers through a net weight analysis system for normal beef and glonggings using an expert system with case-based reasoning. The research will be carried out starting from the collection of data from normal and glaucous cows by looking at the body  weight, gender, upper-lower cows circumference of the abdomen, side of the cow's overall body  circumference, height, leg height, head length, butt width, body length cow. In obtaining output with a 95% truth value, the base of the case stored in the database is at least 150 cases. All input variables will be analyzed and matched on a case basis using an expert system with CBR (case-based reasoning) method

Abstract

Industrial industrial products on the market are manipulating between original and imitation products, products that are imitated are sold at lower prices and have lower quality. However, the product is in great demand by the public. The research aims to determine the quality level of the original and imitation front axle, both from the hardness, and the chemical composition of the material, and to compare the prices given with quality. This research was conducted by testing the chemical composition using a spectrometer and brinell hardness testing carried out in the STTQ Bungah Gresik mechanical engineering laboratory. In addition, the research uses materials with two front wheel shafts for testing chemical composition with six wheel shaft specimens both original and imitation. Research with spectrometer testing showed that the shaft is included in the low carbon steel group with an original carbon content of 0.192% and an imitation shaft of 0.155%, also included in the low alloy steel group because the number of alloys is less than 2.5%, while in hardness testing brinell found the original shaft harder than the imitation shaft, either on the surface or inside with a percentage of 52.14% difference between the two. For the comparison between price and quality given between the two shafts, the percentage where the value of the comparison of violence is greater is around 49.97% to 52.14% rather than the price ratio of around 20% given by the producer, it would be better for consumers to buy original shafts than the imitation.

Abstract

The use of fuel in the automotive world is very important because it can improve the performance of the fuel motor. Fuel with high octane numbers will be able to boost the performance of the fuel motor. The selection of the right fuel will also be a reference in the process of motor maintenance in the automotive world in Indonesia, now again being incessantly making creations and innovations. This research is to find out the power, torque, and average effective pressure (BMEP). The research method used is an experimental method using two fuels, namely Pertamax 92 and Akra 92. This needs to be done because both of these fuels have the same octane number as the performance test against the need to prove which one can be used for gasoline type vehicles. From the research results obtained the power, torque, and the firstx BMEP 92 are higher than the power, torque and BMEP akra 92.
