Abstract

This research was conducted to explain the thinking process of students in solving mathematical problems of pattern generalization based on Polya measurement in terms of Reflective cognitive style. This research is a qualitative descriptive research with class X class IPA 1 SMA N Kalidawir consisting of 25 students. Selection of research subjects using cognitive style instrument that is Matching Familiar Figures Tests developed Warli, the test was given to all students class X IPA 1 to determine the subject of research. The data collection in this research uses generalized pattern test with think aloud method, interview, and triangulation technique to check the validity of the data. Data were analyzed using the concepts from Miles and Huberman: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the process of thinking of the Reflective subject at the stage of understanding the problem experienced the process of dominant assimilation thinking to arithmetic, the problem planning phase experienced the process of assimilation thinking, accommodation and dominant abstraction to algebra, accommodation and abstraction, assimilation of accommodation and the dominant abstraction into algebra, and at the stage of re-experiencing the process of assimilation thinking and the dominant abstraction into algebra.

Abstract

Supporting the implementation of effective learning process, can not be separated from the use of teaching materials that is module. Modules are also developed in electronic form / format called emodules E-module Is an interactive module that displays / loads images, audio, video and animations that are packaged in a Web base of hydrocarbon compound subjects. Educators are expected to teach  the  learning in the real world so that students are able to remember, understand, and apply the science in everyday life called contextual learning. Techniques of data collection using interviews, questionnaires and observations used to obtain data aspects of functionality and usability. The instrument used in the aspect of functionality using four Likert scales is very feasible, feasible, less feasible, and not feasible. For usability instrument use four likert scale that strongly agree, agree, disagree, and disagree. In portability aspect use 4 web browser that is Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, and Opera as testing. On the efficiency aspect of using GTMetri application that produces 2 tests, namely YSlow put forward by Yahoo Developer Network and PageSpeed Insights recommended by Google Developer. From the result of data analysis, the functionality aspect of the media expert produces the value of functionality (X) of 1. For the data of the functionality aspect of the material expert gives a value of 90.79% which indicates a very feasible value. From the test results portability aspect using 4 types of web browsers to produce data in the form of all web browsers succeed, but there is a problem in the resolution that resulted in the display becomes small. From the results of the efficiency resulted in an average score of pagespeed of 97.5% and for the yslow score yielded an average score of 96.5%. Abstract

Dalam proses analisis data memerlukan suatu alat analisis yang dikenal dengan Statistika. Ilmu statistika adalah ilmu yang mempelajari tentang data, mulai dari pengumpulan, penyajian, analisis, interpretasi sampai penarikan kesimpulan dari data.  Namun seiring dengan kemajuan yang pesat dalam bidang teknologi, muncul berbagai program komputer yang dirancang khusus untuk membantu pengolahan data statistic secara tepat, cepat dan praktis. Pengolahan data statistik menjadi jauh lebih mudah dan menyenangkan tanpa mengurangi ketepatan hasil outputnya. Namun banyak orang, termasuk guru, yang masih enggan untuk belajar sendiri iri ataupun mampu melakukan teknik pemrosesan namun tidak mampu memahami proses dan mengintepretasikan outputnya dengan baik. Untuk mencari alternatif solusi pemecahan masalah di atas, maka diadakan pelatihan analisis data dengan salah satu software statistik yaitu SPSS (Statistical Products and Solution Services). Jika dilihat dari namanya, software SPSS memang sangat membantu memecahkan berbagai permasalahan, khususnya permasalahan dalam ilmu pendidikan. Sasaran dari pelatihan ini adalah para pengajar pondok pesantren Jawaahirul Hikmah III yang terletak di kecamatan Besuki, Tulungagung dimana pondok pesantren ini termasuk pondok dengan basis pendidikan modern. Tujuan dari pelatihan ini adalah memberikan cara praktis dalam teknik analisis data dan aplikasi software SPSS bagi para pengajar pondok pesantren Jawaahirul Hikmah III. Sedangkan untuk tujuan jangka panjang, meningkatkan kemampuan dan kreativitas para pengajar dalam melakukan penelitian (karya ilmiah) sehingga mampu meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran yang otomatis berdampak positif pada kualitas sekolah (pondok pesantren).

Abstract

Di era otonomi daerah, desa merupakan bagian yang sangat penting dalam menentukan  keberhasilan  pembangunan  dan   bersetuhan  langsung  dengan  masyarakat terutama dalam pelayanan publik. Masalah yang timbul dan dihadapi adalah minimnya tingkat ketrampilan aparatur desa dengan tuntutan masyarakat yang lebih dinamis serta sistem pengelolaan arsip masih bersifat konvensional memicu resiko tinggi. Sejalan dengan agenda reformasi dari Kementerian Pemberdayaan Aparatur Negera dan Reformasi Birokrasi bahwa setiap individu dan organisasi dituntut untuk mengembangkan diri guna meningkatkan pelayanan masyarakat. Pengelolaan administrasi dan arsip yang konvensional harus diubah menjadi berbasis sistem dan digital. Selain itu Desa juga perlu mempublikasikan seluruh potensi yang dimilikinya sehingga masyarakat semakin mudah untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang desa, disamping perlu untuk melukan transparansi publik. Berkaitan dengan masalah tersebut, Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat (IbM) khususnya di desa Bangoan dan desa Tulungrejo ini memberikan solusi untuk menyelesaikan persoalan tersebut dengan memberikan bantuan pengembangan website desa dan sistem informasi untuk mengelola data di desa, sekaligus pelatihan pengelolaan administrasi   menggunakan sistem informasi manajemen yang telah dikembangkan. Selain itu kegiatan ini dilakukan dalam rangka peningkatan kemampuan dan ketrampilan aparatur desa dengan memberikan workshop dan sosialisasi UU ASN tahun 2014.Tujuan pelaksanaan program ini adalah untuk memberikan media untuk mempublikasikan segala potensi yang dimiliki desa,  tertatanya pengelolaan administrasi yang telah berbasis digital serta meningkatnya kemampuan dan keterampilan   apartur   desa.   Sebagai   hasil   program   berupa   peningkatan   kualitas pelayanan kepada masyarakat dan publikasi ilmiah

Abstract

Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi komputer berpengaruh perkembangan teknologi Internet. Media  internet  yang memiliki  sifat  interaktif, sangat bermanfaat jika dimanfaatkan untuk dunia pendidikan. Salah satu bentuk pemanfaatan Internet pada bidang pendidikan adalah melalui pengembangan Learning Management System (LMS). LMS merupakan suatu sistem yang digunakan untuk mengelola resource-resource pembelajaran berbasis web atau lebih dikenal dengan nama e-learning. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (R&D) dengan menggunakan beberapa fase. Pada fase penilaian, LMS diuji cobakan pada dua kelas yang mengikuti perkuliahan Matematika Diskret. Data dikumpulkan dengan metode observasi, angket dan tes. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa : 1) Berdasarkan proses pengembangan, prototype III merupakan LMS yang potensial efektif digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. (2) Berdasarkan observasi, tingkat motivasi mahasiswa yang belajar mandiri menggunakan LMS 82,9% berada pada kategori termotivasi dan sangat termotivasi. (3) Sikap mahasiswa terhadap LMS yang dikembangkan 78,95% berada pada kategori tertarik dan sangat tertarik, dan dua orang dosen yang dijadikan responden masuk dalam kategori tertarik. (4) Hasil belajar mahasiswa yang menggunakan perpaduan antara pembelajaran di kelas dan menggunakan LMS hanya 2,44% yang masuk dalam kategori gagal.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of dynamic geometry software (DGS) by mathematics teachers in their teaching and learning activities. This study case involves two junior high school mathematics teachers who use DGS in their teaching activities. The data of this study were collected by recording teacher activity and interviewing the teachers. The data were then analyzed through data transcription, data categorization, data reduction, data review and analysis, and conclusion. The results of this study involved, first, the use of DGS in teaching and learning activities can be categorized into two activities: 1) shifting and 2) delivering content. The delivering content is later divided into two activities: a) applying representation and b) modeling. Shifting activity occurred when teachers had an interval period while conducting one activity to another. Delivering content-applying representation activity occurred when teachers were using DGS to deliver both conceptual and procedural materials to the students. Delivering content-modeling activity occurred when teachers were using DGS to make students acquire knowledge and have a problem-solving skill as performed by their teachers. The modeling activities occurred either explicitly and implicitly.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the mistake of vocational student in solving linier program question in term of conceptual and procedural understanding. The research was conducted at SMKN I Boyolangu Tulungagung. Subject was chosen based on the highest number of mistakes when completing linier program question. Data collection techniques in this research are test and interview. The instruments used in this research were the main instrument and supporting instrument. The main instrument is the researcher itself, while the supporting instrument are the test sheet and interview guidelines. To test the data validity in this research used time triangulation. Data analysis based on indicator of conceptual and procedural understanding that include data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The result of this study indicate that students who make mistake do not have a good conceptual and procedural understanding. This can be seen from subject cannot explain how to solve the question. In addition, subject cannot continue the answer because subject do not know the next step that must be done. Subject alsocan not explain the steps in solving linier program question. For this reason, teacher need to pay attention to students? understanding when learning in class, especially conceptual and procedural understanding. In addition, teacher mut choose or design a conceptual learning design and procedural understanding to achieve the learning objective.

Abstract

Today's education requires students and teachers to be friendly with IT. Where in the learning process using applications that help the learning process and provide a pleasant effect for students. The Kahoot platform is a medium that can be used as an alternative in learning. The purpose of this paper is to explain the role of the Kahoot educational game in supporting mathematics learning, which teachers can later use as an alternative to learning so that learning is more varied, less boring and more fun. The writing of this article uses the literature study method by examining journals related to Kahoot!. The results of this study are the use of Kahoot media in mathematics learning, namely: student learning outcomes increase, accelerate understanding of material, increase student motivation and independence, increase thinking and learning skills, students have a positive attitude in learning, students are more active in learning, learning more fun and not boring, and increase interest in learning. It is recommended for teachers to use Kahoot media in mathematics learning, although not all material is presented with Kahoot. Kahoot can be used as an alternative learning media combined with learning methods.
