Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe how transformational  leadership increases employees’s  job satisfaction.  The  research was conducted at Islamic Elementary School of An-Nizomiyah, located at Jalan Masjid Al Fajri, Pejaten, South Jakarta.It showed that Transformational Leadership and Employees’ job satisfaction at this school are generally good.  The achievement oftransformational leadership indicators reaches at 82.77%, and the achievement of employees’ job satisfaction indicators reaches at 81,66%.  It can be said that transformational leadership has been successfully implemented to increase employees’s  job satisfaction at this school. Based on the research result, the employees’ job satisfaction could be enhanced by increasing the indicators of transformational leadership through idealized influence, individualized consideration, intellectual stimulation, and inspirational motivation.  It proves that transformational leadership can increase employee’s job satisfaction.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the good and bad sides of the factors that affect the growth of the Indonesian economy, analyzing the fundamentals of  economic growth in Indonesia, and formulate strategic recommendations to improve the economy of Indonesia in the future.In the middle of the advancement of the economy in a country, the more the amount of money and goods / services that are circulating in the country. Society has a wide range of economic activities in the conduct of the circulation of money and goods in the form of production, consumption, distribution, and other economic activities in the form of buying and selling foreign currency, export and import activities, as well as the company's stock transactions at home and abroad. Recent developments in the world and domestic economic conditions pose challenges to maintaining the stability of economic growth in Indonesia. This research uses qualitative descriptive analysis focused on the fundamental strategy of growth of the Indonesian economy by purposive sampling and literature study of statistics at the Ministry of Finance, the Central Bureau of Statistics, and the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia in 2013 - 2015 as the primary and secondary data.From these results it can be seen that during 2013 and 2015, the United States, Britain, Australia, Japan, and the countries that joined the European Union have a consistent level of inflation lower than Indonesia, the movement of SBI rate sufficient flutuaktif massively from 5.75% to 7.5% during the years 2013 to 2015, Indonesia public debt has increased significantly in 2013-2014 so that the government and people of Indonesia should encourage economic growth in a positive direction through a mix of monetary and fiscal policy expansionary appropriate expected.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to find empirical evidence whether the reverse stock split policies have a significant impact on the stock volume in companies that conduct the policy. This study uses event study approach, which made observations on the activity of trading volume during  ten (10) days before,on that 10 (ten) days  and  the  10 days after reverse stock split policy. The sample used in this study were 16 (sixteen) company of 31 companies which perform a reverse stock split policy for the years 2003 u to 2013. The hypothesis examine using parametric inferential statistics  that  through the Wilcoxon signed test rangks test such  the data are not normally distributed. The results of this study showed that the difference between the average trading volume activity before and after the reverse stock split policy is  statistically significant, where the probability value (0.023) is smaller than the significance level (?) = 5% or 0.05, so the hypothesis (Ha ) which states there is a significant difference between the average trading volume activity before and after the  reverse stock split acceptable policy. That is the reverse stock split policies have a significant impact on the company's stock trading volume.

Abstract

Investment activities  in Indonesia have an impact on domestic market foreign exchange activity which can be affect the fluctuation of  the exchange rate. In order to support the stability of the rupiah and as prudent step in ensuring the integrity and stability of financial corporation system have needs necessary steps to reduce pressure on the rupiah. Exchange rate fluctuation may also cause incertainty in the investment activity, so that hedging is a  need for investment activity. Hedging  is management risk technique by using derivatives or other hedging instruments to offset changes in fair value or cashflow changes in assets, liability, and future transactions. And effect of the hedge accounting is gain or loss on hedging instrument and the all item protects recocnized in the same period. In this case the author choose derivatives instrument  currency swap hedging with option contracthedging. This research aims to find  hedging method which review the lower debt payment among  swap contract  with option contract hedging. This study through literature,relevant research and publications related to the topic. Result of the study are expected to be a reference for development of international trade in Indonesia.

Abstract

The success    key   to    culinary business  is not  only depend    on quality products, but also on  other significat  factors  such as    hospitality, hygiene and sanitation  are said as   HHS in running the culinary business   getting succes. However, those    three factors, don’t put on    serious attention, especially for the  Business  Actor Micro (PUM), who worked in the food    as well as culinary business, even for the beginers as well as the experieinced one,    especially in tourist areas Setu Babakan, South Jakarta. Therefore,suppose HHS practices in operations will   not be  optimalize, in the long term, these conditions would have a negative impact  to  culinary business as well as the tourism business overall  in Setu Babakan. PUM in Setu Babakan,’s  donethe  businessjust  on conventionally based. They run  all processing  steps,  start from  raw materials handler    to the serving     to the customer,   just   ignoring    the HHS  factors. Processed foods that will be served directly to customers, is still done by gloveless.  Similarly, where  all  kitchen workers are not using an apron, which limits to groceries vulnerable infestation microbiology and  mor that those,  there is no hospitality in serving as well ingreating to the customers. This study aims to find out how to PUM be aware that HHS is very important in business they are doing and how  toform  suitable  training    for the PUM (Training Need Assesment/TNA), so they can run  the culinary business by applying HHS firmly as well.

Abstract

Indonesia tourism potential is high enough. Jakarta is one of the destinations that have considerable tourism potential in Indonesia. Jakarta tourism development requires a serious governance. The successful development of Jakarta into an international tourist resort depends on the seriousness of the government to maximize the management of tourism in the city of Jakarta. This study aims to describe descriptively, the foreign tourist market segmentation in Jakarta based on length of stay, the amount of expenditure and the type of accommodation (hotel). Qualitative methods using secondary data related to length of stay, the amount of expenditure and the type of accommodation (hotel) used for foreign tourists visiting Jakarta. Expected results of the study could  be the rationale in establishing the Jakarta tourism more broadly.

Abstract

Usaha Kecil Menengah (UKM) berkontribusi banyak terhadap perekonomian Indonesia. Hal ini tercermin dari penyerapan jumlah tenaga kerja. Perkembangan UKM menjadi meningkat menjadikan persaingan dipasar semakin ketat. Pemerintah berperan melindungi Usaha Kecil Menengah melalui kebijakan yang proaktif. Usaha Kecil Menengah juga perlu melakukan perluasan pasar agar semakin berkembang usahanya. Salah satu cara mengembangkan pasar bisa melalui  e-commerce. Berdasarkan hal ini, perlu diketahui perkembangan penjualan produk UKM melalui e-commerce,  strategi apa yang dilakukan UKM melalui  e-commerce, dan sektor usaha apa saja yang mengalami peningkatan penjualan. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer yaitu diperoleh dari hasil wawancara langsung oleh pihak internal perusahaan x dan juga data sekunder yaitu melalui literatur dan juga data mitra UKM perusahaan x. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan bahwa strategi penjualan melalui  e-commerce  mengalami peningkatan sebesar 348% dari tahun 2014 ke tahun 2015. Peningkatan juga terjadi tahun 2015 sampai Juli 2016 sebesar 25%. Hal yang dilakukan pengusaha melalui e-commers yaitu pendekatan kepada pelanggan dan memberikan kemudahan dalam melakukan transaksi pembelian. Sektor usaha yang diminati pasar adalah sektor makanan (food), fashion dan rumah tangga.
