Abstract

The potential of sugar palm spreading in Boalemo Regency strongly supports the development of paletan bioethanol in this area. However, these efforts face several interrelated and complex problems. This research aims to determine the key factors that influence the success of bioethanol development in Boalemo Regency, Gorontalo Province. This research uses Interpretative Structural Modeling (ISM) approach. The results of the analysis indicate that the key factors of bioethanol development in Boalemo Regency consist of: (i) development objective, which is to increase community's income; (ii) development needs, namely; availability of raw materials and human resources; (iii) the institutions involved, ie UPTD KPHP V Boalemo and KLHK Research, Development and Innovation Center; (iv) obstacles in development, namely regulatory / regulatory constraints; and (v) indicators, namely the level of public income and the amount of bioethanol production

Abstract

To know the growth analysis of Gmelina ( Gmelina alborea.Roxb ) and Mahoni (Swietenia  magrophylla.King). It is necessary to look at the growth at a certain period in which a certain moment of growth will decrease so that the consideration in the maintenance can be done very evectively and consideration to harvest as needed in the processing of sawn timber or playwood. Mean Growth at age 10, diameter of gmelina 2,4 cm / tree / year, total volume 144,43 m3 / ha, MAI 14,44 m3 / atun, CAI 28,46 m3, Medium point of intersection of MAI and CAI occurred at age 15 years with total volume 251,80 m3 / ha. The growth of Mahogany at the age of 20 years after the measurement in the field with the width of I ha of 510 trees with an increase of diameter 1.38 cm / year, the number of Volume 174.35 m³ / ha and MAI 8.72 and CAI 12.58. At the time when MAI 9.37 and CAI 9.27 were at one point then it was allowed to harvest with age 30 years with a total voLume of 281.03 m3 / ha. This growth analysis can be used to analyze a tree type and help in analyzing an industrial plant where we want is a shorter age for harvesting so that time and cost are not much wasted

Evenness of bird species in agroforestry ilengi in the category unstable. The role of local communities for conservation is good enough to understand the habits of birds in agroforestry ilengi, such Local naming each of the birds found 61% of respondents know about the birds in the research sites.

Abstract

The ground as a system that dynamic, the ground can be turned off than time to tim , according its properties which includes the physical properties , the chemical nature and the nature of mechanical, as well as the state of the environment that productivity a whole determine the ground .A pattern of land use affect the trait of land especially the physical properties of a soil , because the use of or cultivation of the land can result in a system of capillaries on the dotted the ground and the breakdown of the limits of the horizon the ground which gives rise to a setback the physical properties of soil and chemical , as forfeited to the element of the disturbances and organic matter .  The opening of the woodland plant industry ( HTI ) indirectly affect the physical properties on the ground .Reason this is research objectives , which is to know the true nature of the physical land in the land clearing areal woodland plant industry (HTI). This research is divided into two (2) , activities in the field of the sample collection and testing the sample in the laboratory .The sample collection in the field in a purposive sampling .While the sample done in a laboratory to determine soil texture ,the permeability, the heavy volume ,a color of soil ,the stability of a structure. The result showed that a color of soil the area of land clearing dominated by the orange color criteria class texture clay , to be the area of natural forest dominated by a shade of brown with class criteria soil texture loam clays , and to the acreage the planting of crops jabon the age of 4 years is dominated by a shade of brown with class criteria soil texture loam clays .Permeability class each area ranged ranging from class criteria rather slow until with the class rather fast.
