Abstract

This study aims: 1) to determine the effect of factors on the income of fishermen in the Village Bongo Batudaa District Beach. 2) to analyze how the income of fishermen in Bongo Village, Batudaa Pantai District. The research method used in this research is survey with data analysis using descriptive analysis and multiple linear analaisis. The results of this study show: 1) Capital, labor, experience and mileage to sea together have real effect on the income of fishermen in Bongo Village, Batudaa Pantai District. While partially only capital and mileage of the sea that influences very real, while the labor and experience have no effect. 2) The average income of fisherman respondents in Bongo Village, Batudaa Pantai District is Rp. 7,473,852 every three months.

Abstract

This research aims to 1) investigate attitude and behavior of farmers in adopting information of extension man related to legowo row planting system in Sub-district of Dungaliyo; 2) identify internal and external factor which influence farmers in implementing legowo row planting system in Sub-district of Dungaliyo; and 3) compile strategy of counseling and agricultural communication in the implementation of legowo row planting system in Sub-district of Dungaliyo. The research applies survey method and it is conducted from April to May 2017. The aplied data analysis are descripteve and SWOT. Research samples are 54 respondents that are determined by purposive sampling. Research finding reveal that 1) implementation of legowo row planting system achieves positive response from majority of farmers in Sub-district of Dungaliyo, District of Gorontalo. Ther are 34 respondents or 62,97% out of 54 have implemented also this as it is profitable while the rest 20 respondents or 37,03% have implemented also the system only for trial; 2) internal factors are age, status of land, knowledge of farmers about advantage of legowo row planting system while external factors are role of counseling institution, support of government, alsintan aid and production facility; 3) strategy of counseling in the imlementation of legowo row planting system is through diagram of SWOT analysis which elaborates that its strength is greater than its weakness, it creates X axis in diagram SWOT and it is in quadrant I which means that it supports aggressive strategy or SO (Strength-Opportunities) strategy, very profitable situation since it has strength and opportunity that can be used as good and as much as possible.

Abstract

This research aims to: 1) Knowing clove marketing channel in Taludaa Village Bone District of Bone Bolango District. 2) Analyze margin and distribution of clove marketing margin in Taludaa Village, Bone Sub-District, Bone Bolango District. 3) Knowing the fluctuation of clove prices in Taludaa Village, Bone Sub-District, Bone Bolango District. This research was conducted in Taludaa Village Bone Sub-district of Bone Bolango Regency from September to October of 2017. The method used is survey method that is data collection based on interview and observation. Dotampel sampling technique is done by using Simple Random Sampling method, that is random sampling from all population located in Taludaa Village Bone Sub-district of Bone Bolango Regency where in this study population consists of 52 respondents farmers and taken multiples of 2 so as to get a sample of 26 people . Types and data sources used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Data analysis used to calculate marketing analysis using qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that: 1) Clove marketing channel included in the category of indirect marketing. the distribution channel that is the farmer sells to the collector merchant then proceeded to the wholesaler. 2) The marketing margin on clove marketing channel is Rp.5.000 / Kg. 3) Clove prices fluctuate at the farm level. In August the price of cloves jumped by Rp 135.00 / kg, in September the price of cloves dropped slightly by 11.1% at a price of Rp 120,000 / kg from the previous price caused by several factors. In October and November the price of cloves decreased by 4.17% with the price of Rp115.000 / Kg because in that month was the time of harvest and the production in this month greatly increased so that the price of clove is quite stable. So even the price of cloves at the merchant level in August rose as much as Rp 146.000 / Kg influenced by several factors. Clove prices In September decreased slightly 14.38% from August prices at Rp 125,000 / kg. While in October and November the price decreased 4% ie Rp 120.000 / Kg, but relatively stable as the price at the farm level. Some factors that affect the fluctuation of clove prices are not yet arrived harvest time, the number of requests by collectors and weather factors.

Abstract

This reseacrh aims at analyzing: 1) the sources of corn growers’ income in Tolotio Village Tibawa Sub district Gorontalo District, 2) houshold income of corn grower in Tolotio Village Tibawa Sub district Gorontalo District, and 3) household comsumption of corn grower in Tolotio Village Tibawa Sub district Gorontalo District. This research is conducted in Tolotio Village Tibawa sub district Gorontalo district staring from April to May 2017 with 50 corn growers as the samples. The method applies survey method. Data analysis applies descriptive analysis, farm income analysis, and household incoe analysis. Finding show that sources of corn growers’ income in Tolotio Village Tibawa Sub district Gorontalo District come from two sources which are the agriculture sectorand outer agricuture sector encompassing to artisan, driver, tradesman, and civil servant. The household income of corn grower in Tolotio Village Tibawa Sub district Gorontalo District is IDR. 5.881.173,92. Based on the farm income is IDR. 1.140.000. the household consumption is clustered into food and non-food consumtions. The average of household consumtion in Tolotio Village Tibawa Sub district Gorontalo District is IDR. 5.832.940/season.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze: 1) Analyzing income inequality that occurs in corn farmers in District Pulubala Gorontalo District, 2) To analyze income outside corn farming on income inequality of corn farmers in District Pulubala Gorontalo regency. This research was conducted in four villages which became observation area in Pulubala District of Gorontalo Regency from August until November of 2017. The method used was survey method that is data collection based on interview and observation. The sampling technique is done by using simple random sampling method, which is random sampling from all population located in District Pulubala Gorontalo Regency where in this study population consists of 100 respondents farmers and taken multiples 2 so that the sample obtained as many as 50 people. Types and data sources used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Analysis of data used to calculate the level of income inequality using the formula Gini Ratio figure. The results showed that: 1) The income of corn farmers in District Pulubala sourced from corn farming alone is in the category of low lenght is 0.173 or 0.3. 2) Other income outside maize farming has an effect on inclination trend of household income of farmer where there is decreasing income inequality. This can be seen from the Gini Ratio figures obtained from the income of all farms that is equal to Gini Ratio = 0.167 and for Gini Ratio ratio of all household income of Gini Rasio = 0, 161.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan perindustrian di Provinsi Gorontalo telah mengalami perubahan kemajuan pada setiap sektor usaha, tercatat pada Tahun 2017 terdapat 36.465 unit usaha tersebar di Gorontalo. Peneltian ini bertujuan 1) Mengetahui inovasi produk apa saja yang mempengaruhi keputusan pembelian pada UKM Flamboyan di Kota Gorontalo. 2) Menganalisis variabel apakah yang paling mempengaruhi keputusan pembelian pada UKM Flamboyan di Kota Gorontalo. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan maret – april 2018 di UKM Flamboyan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian menggunakan survey dengan analisis data menggunkan analisis deskriptif kualitatif, dan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) Variabel kualitas produk berpengaruh positif tetapi belum cukup signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian produk pada UKM Flamboyan dengan nilai thitung 1,202. 2) Variabel varian produk berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian produk pada UKM Flamboyan dengan nilai thitung 3,816. 3) Variabel desain produk berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian produk pada UKM Flamboyan dengan nilai thitung 2,621. Koefisien determinasi (R2) = 0,552 yang menunjukkan 55,2% pengaruh kualitas produk, varian produk, desain produk dan 44.8% dipengaruhi faktor lain yang tidak diteliti.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk :1) mengetahui pendapatan petani yang berasal dari usahatani jagung, 2) Mengetahui pendapatan utama rumah tangga petani, 3) Mengetahui kontribusi usahatani jagung pada pendapatan rumah tangga. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survey dengan mengambil sampel sebanyak 66 responden petani jagung dan dilakukan secara acak. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis pendapatan dan analisis statistic uji Z. hasil analisis menunjukan. 1) Sumber pendapatan petani jagung di Desa Tonala Kecamatan Telaga Biru Kabupaten Gorontalo yaitu Bersumber dari pendapatan usahatani jagung dengan rata-rata Rp.4.832.35, pendapatan luar usahatani jagung rata-rata Rp.3.506.400 dan pendapatan luar sektor pertanian rata-rata Rp.8.338.758. 2). Kontribusi usahatani jagung pada pendapatan rumah tangga petani yang ada di Desa Tonala Kecamatan Telaga Biru Kabupaten Gorontalo sebesar 29% atau berkontribusi sedang. 3). Berdasarkan perhitungan diperoleh ZHitung = 64,28 ZTabel = 1,654 maka H0 diterima dan H1 ditolak, dengan demikian berdasarkan kriteria maka kontribusi usahatani jagung berkontribusi secara signifikan terhadap rumah tangga petani di Desa Tonala Kecamatan Telaga Biru Kabupaten Gorontalo.
