Abstract

Some time ago, when the world was hit by the Covid-19 pandemic, many life deposits experienced shocks, including the education sector. It is undeniable that in any part of the world, many students experience learning loss. And many studies have also been conducted related to the condition of learning loss. Where all school activity programs seem to be unrequited, teachers are unable to maximally educate the character of their students. Very different from conditions before the COVID-19 pandemic. This condition was also felt by a boarding school in the North Bogor sub-district of Bogor City. There are so many students who until the post-pandemic period still experience character deviations. This encourages schools to be responsive so that this character change crisis can be handled immediately. This paper will try to analyze the factors that cause changes in the character of students in this school in the post-pandemic period and find the right strategy to overcome them. The research conducted at SMP Nuraida Islamic Boarding School used qualitative methods of data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and document studies. This research is expected to be able to find new strategies to overcome the conditions of character change that occur in the post-COVID-19 pandemic.  Keywords: character change; Strategy; Boarding School.

Abstract

The issue of traffic congestion in DKI Jakarta remains unsolved by the local government. Data from the Indonesian National Police reveals a continuous rise in motorized vehicles, particularly motorcycles and cars, from 2020 to 2022. This is corroborated by the 2023 rankings from TomTom, which position Jakarta as the 29th most congested city worldwide in terms of traffic. The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has introduced public transportation options, including the Jakarta MRT, Jakarta LRT, Mikrotrans, and Transjakarta, to address traffic congestion. Transjakarta has gained popularity, carrying over a million passengers daily in August 2022, indicating a growing acceptance of government-owned public transit services. This study aims to assess how various aspects of service quality impact customer satisfaction within the context of Transjakarta public transportation. A sample of 391 respondents was analyzed using multiple linear regression through IBM SPSS 25 software. Data was collected via Google Forms. Findings reveal that several dimensions, including Tangibility, Responsiveness, Assurance, and Empathy, positively influence Customer Satisfaction. However, the Reliability dimension has no significant impact on Customer Satisfaction. Importantly, collectively, the SERVQUAL dimensions (Tangibility, Responsiveness, Reliability, Assurance, Empathy) demonstrably affect Customer Satisfaction with Transjakarta Public Transportation.

Abstract

Peat restoration is a government strategic program which is a top priority area, especially for Riau Province. Peat restoration is also one of the pilot projects that must be handled correctly, quickly and thoroughly so that it does not repeat the wounds of the disaster like 7 years ago. This is because, as the owner of the largest peatland in Sumatra, history has also been categorized as the biggest source of forest and land fires. It was suspected that the restoration of the peat was originally due to forest and peatland fires, so that the World Bank once estimated that the economic loss from the karhutla disaster reached Rp. 221 Trillion (Mileva et al. 2016). In accordance with Presidential Decree No. 1 of 2016, the government established the Peat Restoration Agency which is the leader in implementing peat restoration in Indonesia (Lebaran et al. 2016). It should be known that peat restoration is indeed designed within the framework of collaboration with many elites (representative groups that are considered capable), namely the Government, communities, NGOs and the private sector, which are the key elites for the implementation of peat restoration (collaborative governance). The elite approach strategy is the focus of this study by using collaborative governance theory as the main research framework. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach assisted by literature studies. Researchers found that there was a failure of peat restoration management strategy in Riau. The unclear status of the Regional Peat Restoration Team (TRGD) and the inactivity of the Riau Provincial Government in supporting the peat restoration agenda became the findings of this study. Researchers see there are several factors that cause it to happen. Economic factors become the main ones because peat restoration is related to investments in forestry and oil palm plantations. Then the cause of the failure of the management strategy, namely failure to understand communication between elites, was also caused by a lack of commitment from elite leaders in Riau.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the procedure for transferring land belonging to the West Manggarai Regency Government through buying and selling, whether it is in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and the legal consequences of transferring rights to land belonging to the regional government carried out by a third party through buying and selling. To answer this problem, a normative juridical legal research method is used by examining all statutory regulations related to the problem under study. The research results show that the procedure for transferring land belonging to the West Manggarai Regency Government can be carried out by selling in the form of auction, exchange, grant or regional government capital participation accompanied by land appraisal and requesting DPRD approval first. Buying and selling cannot be carried out to transfer regional property because it is not in accordance with what is regulated in Article 82 Paragraph (2) of Regional Regulation 11/2017. The legal consequences of the transfer of land by the Government of West Manggarai Regency through buying and selling, resulted in deviations from the legality of the transfer of land rights in the form of procedures, material requirements and formal requirements, resulting in the land transfer being invalid and being canceled due to defects in administrative law through the Head of the Land Office.

According to the results of the analysis, the variables domestic investment and foreign direct investment have a positive significant effect on economic growth. Meanwhile, the variables of population, crime and unemployment have a negative significant impact on economic growth in the long run. However, in the short run, the variables of direct investment, foreign investment, population and crime have a positive significant impact on economic growth. on the other hand, only the number of unemployed has a negative significant effect on economic growth. Based on the results of this study, it is appropriate for the Government of Deli Serdang Regency to optimize programs that are oriented towards increasing investment both domestic and foreign, suppressing the rate of population growth and the number of unemployed and maintaining regional security in the Deli Serdang Regency area.
