Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the law enforcement process, obstacles in supervision and law enforcement against criminal acts of violation of residence permits for foreign nationals in Class II TPI Belawan Immigration Offices. The research method used is an empirical legal research method. Empirical legal research is carried out by collecting primary data as the first source by going through empirical results obtained through interviews with the Head of Class II Immigration Office TPI Belawan. This research is a descriptive analysis which is analyzed qualitatively. Based on the results of this study, enforcement of foreign nationals who abuse their residence permits in the Belawan area in 2022 will be subject to Immigration Administration Actions in the form of prevention and deterrence, detention, delegation of detention centers and deportations. In the process of detaining foreign nationals prior to deportation, rights are given according to their basic daily needs. Obstacles in general are unresponsive coordination with embassies, minimal human resources for both immigration officials and PPNS in terms of supervision and law enforcement and relatively long time in completing case files. In particular, there are frequent tidal floods, unstable electrical voltage, and buildings that can be said to be unfit. Supporting factors are the presence of TIMPORA (Foreigner Monitoring Team); There is APOA (Alien Reporting Application).

Abstract

This paper aims to analyze the importance of understanding multiculturalism in knitting diversity into a force of peace in resolving conflicts over the construction of the GKI Yasmin house of worship, Bogor. The problem is focused on understanding multiculturalism on the formation of people's mindsets, attitudes and behavior. In order to approach this problem, theoretical references from Tilaar, Lawrence Blum, Baedhawy and Galtung are used. The data collected in this study are data obtained from field research through interviews, observation and documentation at the source of the conflict which were analyzed using qualitative methods. This study concludes that the understanding of multiculturalism is very decisive in the resolution of conflicts over the construction of the GKI Yasmin house of worship in Bogor City. This conclusion is based on the low understanding of multiculturalism in the Bogor City community and evidenced by the occurrence of horizontal conflicts. If this condition is left without efforts to resolve it, it will become a prolonged SARA conflict. In addition, weaknesses were also found in preventing conflict in the aspect of the role of local government in implementing regulatory policies that were not quite right.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between self-motivation and procrastination, permissive parenting with procrastination, self-motivation and permissive parenting with academic procrastination of Pharmacy Study Program students at Sari Mutiara Indonesia University in Medan.The type of research used in this research is quantitative research. The results of this study are as follows: (1) Self-motivation is negatively and significantly related to academic procrastination of Pharmacy Study Program students at Sari Mutiara Indonesia University in Medan with a t count > t table (-2.067 > 1.65309) and a significance value of t is smaller than 0.05 (0.040 <0.05); (2) Permissive parenting has a positive and significant relationship with academic procrastination of semester students of Pharmacy Study Program at Sari Mutiara Indonesia University in Medan with a t count > t table (9.571 > 1.65309) and a significance value of t is less than 0.05 (0.000 < 0, 05); (3) Self-motivation and permissive parenting have a joint effect on the variable of academic procrastination in students of the Pharmacy Study Program at Sari Mutiara Indonesia University in Medan with a F count > F table (50.867 > 3.04) and a significance value of t is less than 0.05 (0.000 <0.05).

Abstract

Based on the results of the performance appraisal of civil servants at the Medan City Population and Civil Registration Office in 2020 and 2021, it shows that employee performance has decreased, and there are employee discipline issues that need to be corrected. So the formulation of the problem in this study is how is the performance of employees at the Department of Population and Civil Registration of the City of Medan and what factors are hindering the performance of employees at the Office of Population and Civil Registration of the City of Medan. The research method used in this research is descriptive with qualitative analysis. Sources of data obtained from interviews, documentation, and observation. With the results of the study that the performance of Medan City Disdukcapil employees in population administration services is still relatively poor. Performance indicators according to Mangkunegara theory that have not been implemented properly are the quantity of work, work discipline and work initiatives. While the indicators of work quality and responsibility have been carried out properly by employees. While the recommendation in this study is that Medan City Disdukcapil employees need to be more aware of the importance of working time discipline, so that employees work at all predetermined working hours. Leaders need to be more assertive in disciplining employees who violate work time regulations so that they can provide good learning for all employees. Employees should seek efforts to speed up the handling of population administration work without compromising quality or accuracy in carrying out work. It is better if the leader needs to exercise better supervision of his subordinates so that there is no opportunity to abuse the authority given to him.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work climate and work motivation on job satisfaction at PT. Fastfood Indonesia Tbk. KFC Mataram Medan. The hypothesis put forward is the influence of work climate and work motivation on job satisfaction. The sample in this study amounted to 102 people from a population of 102 people. The sampling technique is by using the total sample. The data collection method is the Likert scale of work climate, work motivation, and job satisfaction. Data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis model. The results of this study are: 1) There is a significant influence of work climate on job satisfaction, with a determinant coefficient value (R2) = 0.322 and p = 0.000 <0.050, meaning that the better the work climate, the higher job satisfaction. 2) There is a significant positive influence between work motivation on job satisfaction, with a determinant coefficient value (R2) = 0.303 and p = 0.000 <0.050, meaning that the better the work motivation, the higher job satisfaction. 3) There is a significant positive effect of work climate and work motivation on job satisfaction seen from the value of the determinant coefficient (R2) = 0.430 with p = 0.000 <0.050, meaning that the better the work climate and the higher the work motivation, the higher job satisfaction. Based on the results of this study the proposed hypothesis was declared accepted.

Abstract

This study describes conflict resolution using the theory of symbolic interactionism by Herbert Blumer and George Herbert Mead. The theory of symbolic interactionism contains three main substances, namely mind, self and society. The self-concept put forward has three criteris, namely emotions, attitudes, beliefs, and values. Self-concept is an attempt to understand and interpret the actions of others through symbols, so that an agreement or compromise occurs. Conflict resolution is an effort to understand and interpret actions based on the symbols of conflict actors, so that an agreement can be reached, thereby creating conflict resolution.The discussion of conflict resolution uses the theory of symbolic interactionism by Herbert Blumer and George Herbert Mead, that self and self-concept are conflict resolution construction models that prioritize discussion and negotiation.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the concept of restorative justice in the perspective of criminal law in Indonesia, judges' considerations and the application of restorative justice in traffic accident cases. The case that is the focus of the author is the application of restorative justice in solving traffic accident cases in Samarinda City. in decision number 7/Pid.Sus-Children/2020/PN Pnj. The type of research that the authors use in this study is empirical juridical. Empirical law research is an unwritten positive legal research regarding the behavior of community members in social relations. The results of the study state that the concept of restorative justice. The criminal justice system is a system in society for managing crime. Its main aim is to prevent the Consensus agreement from being actually nothing new to Indonesian society. Considering, that children who are in conflict with the law are not miniature adults who must be fully responsible for their actions, but children who commit crimes must have their rights protected, they must be restored to become children of the nation who have a future as the hope of the nation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation of Presidential Instruction No. 12 of 2016 on the National Movement of Mental Revolution at the North Sumatra Provincial Unity and Community Agency and the constraints faced. The research method used is qualitative with data analysis techniques using a qualitative approach. Data collection was obtained from observation, interviews, and documentation. The research results refer to Edward III's theory with indicators of communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. The findings show that the implementation of Presidential Instruction No. 12 of 2016 on the National Movement of Mental Revolution in terms of communication and resources has not been running well. Communication is still lacking, especially with external parties. The employees of the North Sumatra Unity and Community Agency also lack work ethics. However, in terms of disposition and bureaucratic structure, the implementation of the Presidential Instruction has been running well. The constraints faced by the agency in implementing the National Movement of Mental Revolution are the lack of public awareness of the importance of the movement, difficulty in socializing in remote villages, and the delay in the provision of funds, which often hinders the implementation of the policy.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the performance of the bureaucracy in preparing administrative materials for making rank order lists and position analysis for the Langsa City DPR Secretariat and to find out the factors that support and hinder bureaucratic performance in preparing administrative materials for making rank order lists and position analysis for the Langsa City DPR Secretariat. The method used is a qualitative method with an inductive approach. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation. This research was conducted at the Langsa DPRK Secretariat Office from October 2022 – September 2022. This research used the method of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study revealed that there were 5 stages in knowing the performance of the bureaucracy in preparing administrative materials for making rank order lists and analysis of program and financial positions of the DPRK Langsa Secretariat consisting of (1) Productivity found a discrepancy between the position map structure of the DPRK Langsa Secretariat and Job Analysis and Workload Analysis, (2) Responsiveness found the position analysis document of the DPRK Langsa Secretariat last made in 2018 which was not in accordance with the Organizational Structure, (3) Service Quality found that there were no problems and was counted well, (4) Responsibility found that the head of the General Administration Subdivision and Personnel do not know the main tasks and functions of the position before taking office and after taking office, (5) Accountability is known in the General Administration and Personnel Sub-Division that has not been able to meet accountability criteria such as being result-oriented and improving work.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the changes in the function of the ronggeng amen from ceremony to performance. The problem is focused on changes in the form of presentation, accompaniment music, and make-up and clothing used. Data - data collected through observation, interviews, literature, documentation, and analysis qualitatively with descriptive analysis method. Ronggeng amen is one of the traditional arts that developed among the people of Pangandaran Regency. The origin of the Ronggeng Amen art is the development of the Ronggeng Gunung art which was popular in the Pangandaran community. At first, the Ronggeng Gunung art was performed in the fishermen's thanksgiving event which coincided with Friday Keliwon in the month of Muharram. The results of this study obtained data and information regarding the changes in function that occur in ronggeng amen from ceremonies to performances. With the change in function of ronggeng amen, the local community enjoys this art more as a means of entertainment. This study concludes that the existence of ronggeng amen art which functions as a means of entertainment is of benefit to the people of Pangandaran, especially among the Z-gen generation who can regenerate ronggeng amen art well and know more about the art, and this can be a reference for research next in studying the theory of ronggeng amen.
