Abstract

The purpose of this study to analyze the effect of board of directors diversity and monitoring intensity to profitability. Board of directors diversity measured by a composite index of gender, age, education, citizenship, and independence of the board of directors. Meanwhile, monitoring intensity measured by the composition of audit quality, number of meetings, and the number of committee. The objects are banks listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange period of 2015-2017 with a panel data regression. Selected samples was 40 banks and 120 observation. The results showed that board of directors diversity had a significant negative on profitability, this result provoke a gap to the previous research. While monitoring intensity is positive significant to profitability. Some practical and implications will be discussed in this study.

Abstract

Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengamati dampak dari pertukaran atasan dan bawahan terhadap perilaku keterikatan kerja melalui mediasi perasaan kewajiban dan adanya moderasi dari ideologi pertukaran. Sebanyak 214 responden berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini, mereka merupakan pegawai pada Badan Pemeriksa Keuangan (BPK). Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode survei dengan kuesioner yang diadministrasikan sendiri (langsung dan daring). Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa pertukaran atasan dan bawahan memiliki dampak terhadap perilaku keterikatan kerja dengan mediasi parsial dari perasaan kewajiban. Namun ideologi pertukaran terbukti tidak memiliki efek pemoderasi dalam hubungan antara pertukaran atasan dan bawahan terhadap perasaan kewajiban. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) mediasi parsial dari perasaan kewajiban mengindikasikan adanya hubungan langsung antara pertukaran atasan dan bawahan terhadap keterikatan kerja dan dimungkinkan adanya variabel-variabel lain yang dapat memediasi, di luar variabel-variabel yang diuji dalam penelitian ini, dan (2) ideologi pertukaran tidak memiliki efek pemoderasi, hal ini memperlihatkan indikasi adanya kemungkinan hubungan langsung antara ideologi pertukaran dengan perasaan kewajiban serta pertukaran atasan dan bawahan. Manajer dan organisasi perlu untuk mempertimbangkan bagaimana cara untuk meningkatkan kualitas dari hubungan pertukaran atasan dan bawahan yang dapat meningkatkan keterikatan kerja karyawan. Mereka juga perlu memperhatikan ideologi pertukaran yang dimiliki oleh karyawan karena dimungkinkan dapat berpengaruh langsung terhadap perasaan kewajiban serta pertukaran atasan dan bawahan.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang umum terjadi dalam pelayanan rawat jalan di rumah sakit adalah lamanya waktu tunggu, proses administrasi, ketersediaan informasi, dan yang lainnya. Salah satu pendekatan perbaikan kualitas yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lean hospital dengan tujuan untuk mencapai efektivitas dan efisiensi penggunaan waktu, tenaga kerja, ruang, dan sumber daya lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran value stream mapping (VSM), menganalisa hal yang menjadi waste, dan usulan perbaikan menggunakan pendekatan lean hospital pada pelayanan rawat jalan poliklnik penyakit dalam RS “X” di Indonesia. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif melalui observasi langsung, wawancara mendalam dan telaah dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai Non Value Added tertinggi adalah pada unit poliklinik yaitu sebesar (97,09%) dengan Value Added sebesar (2,91%) dan waiting time (107,22 menit) pada pelayanan pasien non-asuransi dengan pemeriksaan penunjang. Waste yang terjadi berupa waste of waiting, transportation, overproduction, overprocessing, inventory, motion, human potential dan defect. Dari hasil fishbone diagram diketahui bahwa akar penyebab masalah yang terjadi di unit poliklinik adalah dalam hal manajemen, peralatan, layout, petugas dan sistem informasi. Usulan perbaikan yang dapat diberikan berupa usulan jangka pendek, jangka menengah dan jangka panjang. Kata kunci: rawat jalan, lean hospital, waste, value added, non value added, VSM

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to examine the effect of monetary incentives on unattractive task. Pre-test and post-test were conducted to examine the effect of monetary incentives on unattractive task. The data generated from University Student in Indonesia. Total 53 participant follow two stages of the experiment to do the assignment. The first stage to examine individual performance in the assignment without incentives and the second stage is the treatment group. One group with financial incentives while another group without financial incentives. The T-Test was examining to evaluate the difference between pre-test and post test result. The result shows that monetary incentives could not change people perceived of unattractive task become attractive and could not increase individual performance in unattractive task. But people that perceived the assignment as attractive, they improve the performance when there are monetary incentives. This research found that money could not shift people perception on task attractiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of profitability on the value of companies with gender diversity as moderation variables whether able to strengthen or only weaken. The population used is property and real estate sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2017 to 2019. Sampling techniques use purposing sampling as many as 13 companies while hypothesis testing method using descriptive analysis techniques and classical assumption test and moderation regression analysis (MRA) with SPSS program. The results showed that the profitability of Return On Asset (ROA) and Return On Equity (ROE) had a positive and significant effect on the company's value. Gender diversity affects the value of the company and gender diversity is able to strengthen the relationship between profitability and the value of the company. This study supports the signaling theory.

Abstract

Kebijakan dan operasional suatu perusahaan menjadi hal yang sangat penting bagi kelangsungan suatu perusahaan. Sudah bukan rahasia lagi bahwa manajer suatu perusahaan biasanya adalah orang-orang yang masih mempunyai hubungan keluarga dengan pemilik perusahaan. Tentu keputusan ini bukan semata masalah kepercayaan antara pemilik terhadap keluarganya, tetapi juga karena perspektif keluarga yang memandang perusahaan sebagai aset keluarga yang harus diteruskan kepada generasi berikutnya. Oleh karena itu, unsur keluarga bisa berpengaruh baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung terhadap kebijakan dan operasional perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh family ownership terhadap kinerja perusahaan melalui corporate social responsibility. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh perusahaan industri sektor infrastruktur, utilitas dan transportasi serta industri properti, real estate dan konstruksi bangunan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode tahun 2018. Penggunaan teknik purposive sampling menghasilkan 65 family business yang digunakan sebagai sampel dalam penelitian ini. Hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan Partial Least Square (PLS) 3.0 menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Family ownership berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja perusahaan; (2) Family Ownership berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap corporate social responsibility; (3) Corporate social responsibility memediasi pengaruh family ownership terhadap kinerja perusahaan keluarga. Hasil penelitian memberikan alternatif struktur kepemilikan bagi perusahaan untuk menghadapi tantangan revolusi industri 4.0 dan rekomendasi bagi family business dalam menganalisis komponen-komponen yang dapat mempengaruhi kinerja perusahaan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of web quality, fulfillment, and satisfaction and its impact on repurchase intention of e-commerce customers. This type of research used survey methods, the population in this study were all Tokopedia consumers in Pontianak city-Indonesia. The sample in this study used 100 respondents using purposive sampling technique and the data analysis carried out with path analysis. Results of the first substructure was fulfillment and web quality had positive effect to satisfaction. The second substructure was the fulfillment did not effect the repurchase intention while the web quality and satisfaction variables had positive effect on repurchase intention. Satisfaction mediated the effect of fullfillment and web quality on repurchase intention.
