Abstract

Non linear load harmonics cause, Air Conditioning is one of the main types of inverters that generate non linear load harmonics. Harmonics on the Air Conditioning so that the reduction must not interfere with the quality of power on the system and network. The ability of an Air Conditioning unit to cool a room can be known as Coefficient Of Performance (COP). This can be seen from the comparison between the heat energy required to cool the room with the electric energy used on the unit. In this case you will know the impact caused by the reduction of the harmonics of the COP. Reduction of harmonics used in this study using 16 F capacitor which also serves as a power factor improvement. The results obtained after using the capacitor found impairment harmonic currents (IHDi). After the measurement of the COP also increased from 2,740 becomes 3,176. This proves that the capacitor also function besides improving the power factor can reduce the harmonics an improve the COP.

Abstract

Las titik (spot welding) termasuk las tahanan listrik. Jenis ini merupakan metode yang paling banyak digunakan dan paling sederhana. Hasil proses pengelasan spot welding perlu diketahui secara detail karena akan berdampak pada kekuatan geser dan kekerasan hasil pengelasan, secara mekanik pasangan elektroda dan lembaran plat perlu diperhatikan tekanan elektroda pada lembaran plat, hal ini perlu reference sifat fisik kekerasan permukaan elektroda terhadap lembaran plat dan sebagai acuan awal pada pemilihan material pasangan elektroda dan lembaran plat dengan ketebalan 0,8 mm, maka perlu diketahui komposisi elektroda dan lembaran plat. Hasil uji pasangan material elektroda (Cu) dan lembaran plat (Fe), setelah dilakukan eksperimen uji spectrometric diperoleh bahwa elektroda memiliki kandungan Cu yang balance dan Lembaran plat memiliki kandungan Fe yang mendominasi namun memiliki Carbon kurang dari 0,25%, maka hal tersebut lembaran plat memiliki kategori karbon rendah, dan dari hasil uji kekerasan menunjukkan Elektroda memiliki nilai kekasaran 130 HV, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa elektroda kategori class 2 [10] dan lembaran plat memiliki kekasaran 128 HV, kecenderungan nilai kekasaran material elektroda lebih besar dari lembaran plat.

Abstract

Information technology has a significant role in the education field. One of the critical roles of information technology is in the form of managing the incoming and outgoing mails. State Polytechnic of Cilacap as a higher education institution feels this role. In this research, the author intends to develop the information systems of the incoming and outgoing mails which is accessible for mobile. The development of this information system implements the waterfall process model. The result of the user testing showed that 75% of the users responded it as excellent, 17% of the users responded it as good, and the rest responded it as enought.

Abstract

Vital signs can be seen human health than body temperature, breathing, blood pressure, and pulse. In this study, designed a prototype monitoring the health condition of the human heart Microcontroller-based devices using GPRS connection to be made in the form of a small box that consists of two measurement points. The steps taken to design a monitoring system jatung human health is to design a system of hardware and software. The sensor used is Pulse Sensor and IC-LM35 spread across two measurement points. These sensors as detection of heart rate, and changes in body temperature, and heart rate measurement results and the temperature will be read and processed in the microcontroller-based Arduino and the measurement results will be stored in SDcard to log data. If there is a weakening of the heart rate in humans this device will send an emergency signal to the server that is the hospital, then the hospital will conduct an emergency response to pasienya. The results of the measurement of body temperature has an error rate of 0.73% and heart rate measurement with ECG sensor error rate of 3% and with manual measurement error of 2%.

Abstract

In this research designed an air conditioning system that is capable of reaching temperatures needed in the pasteurization process in miniature kumbung. The temperature required is approximately 70-80oC. The temperature was maintained for 4 hours. To maintain at that temperature control system designed 'on-off' by using a microcontroller ATMega 8535. This system works by shutting down the system when the temperature has been reached and revive the system when the temperature has dropped to the lower limit temperature setpoint. The results of this research in terms of the time required for the pasteurization process kumbung automatic mushroom faster at less than 5 hours compared kumbung regular mushrooms is 7-8 hours.

Abstract

The high price of a UV-photolithography aligner on the market is the reason for designing and characterize low cost UV-photolithography aligner. Photolithography process is simple but it needs patience, enable to modify photolithography aligner by using commercial components and certainly low price. The objective of this study is analyzing the ability of a commercial product in UV-photolithography process, search optimum exposure time and resolution. The method of photolithography process to be used is the method of contact alignment. Commercial UV lamps and cheap photomask are main component in this study. With a light intensity of 0.2 mW/cm2 require the exposure time at least 50 seconds. The smallest achievable resolution depends on the resolution photomask. The Results of smallest resolution is 165 m with a percentage error 10% of the original design.

Abstract

Stirrer system has analyzed the homogeneity of Uranium Penurnian Installation unit which serves to change the yellow cake (natural uranium) into uranium UO2 powder. in this system of natural uranium in the form of effluent UO2 (NO3)2 maintained homogeneity, with a surface elevation level fixed tank. Uranium purification system involves two (2) tanks interplay output, so the output is obtained in accordance with the sett-point value, then the system needs to be in decoupling. Then the control system is applied to the height of the tank using decouling Level control with shift method eigenvalues.
