Abstract

Penggunaan sistem informasi penunjang seperti e-filling, e-ktp, e-procurement dan sebagainya yang sudah mulai diperkenalkan bagi masyarakat luas maupun individu-individu tertentu oleh pemerintah sudah cukup baik, namun sangat jauh berbeda bila kita cermati bagaimana upaya dan usaha pemerintah mendukung demokrasi dalam proses pemilihan umum dengan menggunakan e-voting, padahal saat ini memiliki banyak permasalahan yang memicu konflik-konflik horizontal ditengah masyarakat akibat proses pemilihan umum. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan (1) memberikan bukti empiris tentang pengaruh e-voting yang diterapkan pada tingkat partisipasi yang didasarkan pada model teknologi ditawarkan, (2) menentukan pengaruh langsung variabel prediktor termasuk performance expectancy, effort expectancy, facilitating condition, mobility, security & privacy dan experience untuk tingkat partisipasi masyarakat. Faktor yang diteliti dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model UTAUT. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa penerimaan teknologi REVS dipengaruhi oleh variabel performance expectancy, dimana pemilih berharap agar rekapitulasi hasil suara bisa tepat dan akurat. Selanjutnya adalah variabel mobility dimana pemilih percaya mereka dapat melakukan pemilihan dimana pun mereka berada, tidak dihalangi oleh aturan yang mengharuskan mereka untuk menghadiri ditempat tertentu, sedangkan untuk security & privacy pemilih menginginkan sistem pemilu yang aman dari ancaman baik internal dan eksternal dan tetap menjaga nilai-nilai privasi.

Abstract

Grinding roll is one type of product made by the method of bimetallic casting. The product consists of two types of material that held together with foundry process. Grinding roll has two kinds of different material properties, outer grinding roll should be hard because it would destroy the mine or rock with material hardness at 9.3 mohs. The inside of the grinding roll should be soft,  for machining process , and also for dampen the vibration caused by the grinding process. In use, the outer layer of the grinding roll will be thinned. The purpose of this study to fix the beam Ni-Hard 1 by coating using a material Ni-Hard 1 with variable temperature liquid interface. The methodology of this study is the beam of Ni-Hard 1 to be coated (called die blank) is heated by the flow of liquid metal Ni Hard1. This process is called flushing. The volume of flushing fluid is accommodated at the disposal basin. The design, which has been determined, simulated using software (solidcast 8.2)  to determine the temperature of interface, and then carried out experiments in the workshop.The bond was analyzed by testing the microstructure, composition, and hardness. Results from this study is the technology to coat Ni-Hard 1 with material Ni-Hard 1 that bonding occurs at the surface. Results of research showed that surface fixing with gravity casting method can be applied at Grinding roll, with the temperature variable interface that must be achieved between 887 ° C – 1198 ° C, flushing time between 10-20 seconds, with a pouring temperature of 1438 ° C – 1468 ° C.

Abstract

Existence of constraints increases difficulty in choosing the right goods for a seller. Indeed, the seller wants to optimize the profit gained. Due to limitation of capital and maximum capacity, the seller needs a certain strategy to do the selection. Moreover the fact that each goods has its own probability to sell makes the problem becomes more complex. In this paper, the problem is solved using genetic algorithm. The result of simulation is in a good agreement with analytical solution. The simulation of N-goods selection is also given in the paper.

Abstract

In the industrialized world are required to review hearts always improving performance boost produced by industry, then the findings from the on lead or not separated from the machine using the tools the process piping systems hearts products in produced. The high Reynolds number variation on lead with diameter test sections, resulting in decreased total loss coefficient, (Re) 43 823, 39 985, 32719.8 And Htot 6.1667, 17.2, 17437. The increase in the Reynolds number (Re) will affect against losses pressure (h) at every connection.

Abstract

The fence is one of the leading security in maintaining a building. Conventional fence require operator to open and close it, so it does not effective and efficient. This problem can be solved with automated systems. This research aims to design fance system using finger print sensor  based microcontroller arduino, which is equipped with a locking system that use a solenoid. This experimental research is starts from the design, fabrication and testing. Fences made have specifications 3.2 m x 1.5 m with a total weight is 30.67 kg, path lengthis 2.1 m, diameter sprocket 0.03 m, Voltage DC motor is 12 V  and rotation is 195 rpm. The test results showed a good performance conform with its initial design, where a fence can be opened with a fingerprint has been recorded before. Solenoid can open and lock, likewise with the the photodiode can detect object is on the track. The test results obtained there are differences when opening / closing compared with the results design is 20%, with an average voltage is 12.06  V, current is 1 A, rotation is 135 rpm, and the time it takes 9.9 s, where the torque produced is of 0.64 Nm and maximum load can be driven by a DC motor is at 59.97 kg.

Abstract

One of great potential area in the fisheries sector in West Java province is Indramayu District. Percentage of fisheries production which accounts for 60% of the needs of the fishery. Indramayu community, especially the northern coastal areas of Indramayu district of livelihood relies heavily on the this sector. During this process the dried fish production still relies on the natural conditions of the solar thermal. So that when the rainy season the fishermen feel a loss, because of natural heating hampered and finally ignored orders from customers due to the  and declining fish quality, so prices soaring sales doubled. Hence, the need for attention to improving the quality of production of dry fish processing, is one of the way by utilizing the split Air Conditioning (AC) as a heating dehumidifier for drying fish. This equipment is modified by utilizing the waste heat from the condenser as reheat is then added to the electric heater is controlled according to the needs drying, and after that it was blown with using  fan/blower to the drying chamber containing the fish on the shelves are arranged. The results obtained can be analyzed on the performance, drying temperature and relative humidity (RH) or water content is as expected.

Abstract

Collision test is needed in transportation area in order to anticipate injuries of passangers when the accident occurred. Therefore, this test must be done for achieving standar requirements which is known by crashworthiness. This paper discussed about development of crasworthiness test by using modelling impact transferability by numerical simulation. The goal is to know the error of maximum deformation when given axial dynamic loading between numerical simulation and real experiment. Furthermore, analitic was used to validate duration of stress wave propagation from result of numerical simulation. This simulation used explicit finite element method by using PAM-Crash. The component of this research was impactor and impact of transferability with 80 and 27 kg of mass. The square tube-thin walled structure with holes as crush initator 3 mm of diameter was used as specimen. The result shows maximum deformation and duration of stress propagation error which are 3.90 % and 14.89 %.

Abstract

The goal of this work is to design and build a vibration test bench to simulate unbalance in rotating machine. The vibration test bench made of a 25 mm diameter steel shaft and length of 410 mm supported by two ball bearings. Two steel discs to variate unbalance load installed in the shaft powered by 0.5 Hp electric motor with maximum rotation of 1400 RPM. Inverter used to control rotation from electric motor. Vibration testing conducted at two condition; (1) without load and rotation variation, (2) unbalance load with variation of unbalance mass. Pick up point of vibration measurement at bearing house in radial and axial direction. The vibration parameter measured are amplitude and spectrum (wave form). Amplitude measurement using hand held vibrometer, while spectrum using accelerometer conected to a Data Acquisition. After testing the condition using unbalance load, we conclude that the vibration test bench match unbalance condition as described in theory which is high amplitude at machine frequency, and it’s value proportional to unbalance mass. We find that the highest amplitude is at horizontal direction where machine stiffnes is smallest. Vibration testing with no load condition show that there is harmonic in vibration spectrum indicating rotating looseness, probably caused by bearing wear.
