Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kontribusi pendapatan kerajinan anyaman bambu terhadap total pendapatan keluarga petani. Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Grujugan Kecamatan Petanahan Kabupaten Kebumen. Pemilihan lokasi penelitian dilakukan denganpertimbangan bahwa desa ini merupakan pusat kerajinan anyaman bambu. Data penelitian diperoleh dari responden yang diambil sebanyak 10% dari populasi yang ada. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kontribusi kerajinan anyaman bambu terhadap totalpendapatan keluarga petani sebesar 61,52%.Kata kunci: anyaman bambu, kontribusi pendapatan

Abstract

This research aimed to know a portrait of entrepreneurship craftsmen souvenirs from processed coconut shell in Karangtengah Village, Subdistrict Baturraden, Banyumas Regency related to some aspect that was pre-production, production process and post production. That data was used primary and secondary data. Sample taken used purposive sampling technique. The survey results revealed that the portrait of entrepreneurial farmers artisans souvenirs from coconut shell related aspects of pre-production include: Provision of raw materials, equipment, provision of workshops and capital. A portrait of entrepreneurship craftsmen souvenirs from precessed coconut shell related post-production aspect include: craftsmen 100% in post-production did not the packing technique. Marketing outlets of souvenirs craft that direct and indirect. Constraint problems that done was the lower prices because many of the competition, a less extensive marketing coverage, the consumerdoes not have deserted so wide.

Abstract

This research is aimed to find out the method of bio activator process and the best basic material used to produce a good qualified POC. This research was done in integrated laboratory of Muhammadiyah University of Purwokerto from April 2013 to August 2013.This research used A Complete Randomized Design with two factors. The first factor was the three kinds of bio activator like decayed banana leg method (A1), bio activator method of fruit and red onion (A2) and bio activator method of stratified water rice (A3). The second factor was three kids of organic waste as the basic material to make the Liquid Organic Fertilizer such as organic waste (B1) manure (B2). Every treatment was done for three times.The result of the research showed that bio activator, organic waste, and bio activator interaction as well as organic waste in fermentation process did not really affect on the weather variable and the pH of Liquid Organic Fertilizer. The result also showed that LiquidOrganic Fertilizer, based on the standard quality by the minister of agriculture regulation Number.28/Permentan/OT.140/2/2009, contained of total N, total P2O5, total K2O in every treatment, and the content of ratio C/N and organic C did not meet the standard quality by the minister of agriculture regulation Number. 28/Permentan/OT.140/2/2009.

Abstract

The objective of the study is to determine the potence of natural agent, a mmushroom of Gliocladium sp. and bacterium Peudomonas fluorencens in resisting against the withering disease (Fusarium Oxysporum f.sp. Cubense) and their effect to the growth of the in-vitrocultured banana plant (Musa paradisiaca L). Thiswas conducted in the experimental farm of Agriculture Faculty, University of Muhammadiyah Purwokerto, in the period of June to December 2013.This research is a single experiment using Randomized Completely Block Design. The treatment was the administration of Gliocladium sp. In three different doses of 10 g/polybag (G1),20 g/ polybag (G2), 30 g/ polybag (G3), and the giving of Pseudomonas fluorencens inthree different dosage of10 ml/l water/ polybag (PF1),20 ml/l water/polybag (PF2) and 30 ml/l water/polybag(PF3) and one control group of no treatment (K0).Based on the result of data analysis, it is proved that the treatment of natural agents of Gliocladiumsp and Pseudomonas fluorencenshas induced the plants resistance against the withering disease of FusariumOxysporumf.sp. Cubense in the banana, as it is indicated bythe increase of phenol compounds, i.e. glychoseda, saponin, and thanin. However, the treatment has no significant effect on the plant growth either on their leaves or their stalk diameter.

Abstract

Land resources is one of the critical success factors of farming systems. One of the potential land is Ultisol with an area of 47.5 million hectares, but has low soil fertility. So it needs to be studied regarding the use of compost of oyster mushroom growing media waste inUltisol in onion cultivation. The research is based on a randomized block design with eight replications. Factors studied were oyster mushroom growing media waste consists of three levels ie without waste (L0), given the fresh waste as much as 20 t ha-1 (L1) and given compost waste as much as 20 t ha-1 (L2).The results showed that giving zeolite as much as 1 t ha-1 in Ultisol did not significantly affect onion crop, whereas giving of waste oyster mushroom growing medium as much as 20 t ha-1 significantly affected the onion crop, although there is no difference between waste freshor composted. There is no interaction between the zeolite and the giving waste oyster mushroom growing media on growth and yield of onion.Keywords: compost, waste, oyster mushrooms, onion

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui rentabilitas ekonomi usahatani jagung di Desa Kaliori Kecamatan Kalibagor Kabupaten Banyumas. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Desa Kaliori Kecamatan Kalibagor dengan pertimbangan bahwa di desa ini banyak petani yang membudidayakan tanaman jagung. Data diambil dari petani responden yang dipilih secara simple random sampling sebanyak 20% dari total populasi yang ada. Data yang diperoleh selanjutnya dianalisis dengan membandingkan antara laba yang diperoleh dengan modal yang dikeluarkan untuk mengetahui tingkat rentabilitas ekonominya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata rentabilitas ekonomi usahatani jagung dari petani responden adalah sebesar 2,35.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efisiensi usahtani lebah madu di Desa Kalisari Kecamatan Cilongok Kabupaten Banyumas. Pemilihan lokasi penelitian dilakukan secara sengaja dengan pertimbangan bahwa Desa Kalisari merupakan sentra peternakanlebah di Kabupaten Banyumas. Data penelitian diambil dari responden secara acak sebanyak 50% dari populasi yang ada. Selanjutnya data penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis R/C ratio.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa analisis R/C ratio sebesar 9,16 yang berarti bahwa usahatani lebah madu di Desa Kalisari Kecamatan Cilongok Kabupaten Banyumas secara ekonomi sudah efisien. Selanjutnya usahatani lebah madu tersebut dapat dikembangkan menjadi sumber penghasilan utama bagi keluarga petani.Kata kunci: usahatani, efisiensi, lebah madu

Abstract

Penyuluhan pertanian diartikan sebagai seseorang yang atas nama pemerintah atau lembaga penyuluhan berkewajiban untuk mempengaruhi proses pengambilan keputusan yang dilakukan oleh sasaran penyuluhan untuk mengadopsi inovasi. Untuk mengidentifikasi keberadaan seorang penyuluh pertanian dalam menjalankan tugasnya maka perlu adanya analisis terhadap profil yang dimiliki penyuluh yang terdiri dari tingkat umur, tingkat pendidikan, lamanya menjadi penyuluh pertanian dan juga metode yang digunakan penyuluh dalam melakukan kegiatan penyuluhannya.Dengan adanya suatu interaksi antara penyuluh pertanian dengan petani padi semi organik Jatijaya maka faktor sosial ekonomi berpengaruh terhadap tingkatan interaksi sosial. Faktor tersebut berupa motivasi penyuluh pertanian dan petani responden, kualifikasipenyuluh, kemndirian penyuluh dan petani responden, tujuan berusahatani petani responden, dukungan keluarga penyuluh dan petani responden, serta dukungan dari aparat Desa Sawangan.Pengaruh interaksi sosial penyuluh pertanian dengan anggota kelompok tani padi semi organik memberi pengaruh yang nyata terhadap produksi padi, ini terbukti adanya suatu peningkatan produksi padi disetiap anggota petani padi semi organik Jatijaya pada musim tanam kedua April sampai September dengan rata-rata meningkat 10 % dan petani responden merasa ada pengaruh yang cukup kuat terhadap peningkatan produksi padi semi organik setelah adanya penyuluhan tentang budidaya padi semi organik.
