Abstract

This research is motivated by so many things that make consumers interested to buy a cosmetic product, one of them is to buy a facial whitening cosmetics. Based on the purpose of this study was to determine buying interest of the facial whitening cosmetics by the students in Hairstyling Department of SMK Negeri 7.This type of research is quantitative descriptive. The population in this study was students in grade XII, which consists of two classes, namely class XII Beauty 1 and XII Beauty 2 Hairstyling Department of SMK Negeri 7 Padang which amounts to 36 students and all of the population used as a sample (total sampling). A data collection technique is to use a questionnaire, which has been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using the Achievement Level Percentage of Respondents (TPR).The results showed that the percentage of respondents’ level of achievement on the indicator products (78%) with the Medium category, the percentage of respondents’ level of achievement on the indicator price (80%) with the High category. While the percentage of respondents’ achievement on the indicator promotion (80%) with High category. For the percentage of respondents’ to the achievement of students' interest in buying facial whitening cosmetics (79%) with the Medium category. It is suggested to students and other consumers into buying facial whitening cosmetics are not only based on price and promotions, but rather the product itself.Keywords : Interest But, Product, Price, Promotion

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the nutritional knowledge, nutritional adequacy and analyzing their relationship with the knowledge of nutritional adequacy. This study is correlational with a population of 182 people and a sample of 28 people who is taken amid proportional random sampling technique. Data collection techniques for knowledge of nutrition using a questionnaire enclosed in the form of multiple choice, while for nutritional adequacy using open questionnaire form of food recall. The results showed that the nutrition knowledge of students included into the category is as high as (25%) and (17.8%) students have the knowledge of the high category. In the variable nutritional adequacy indicates that the highest energy intake of students (3999.4kcal) and the lowest intake of (421.2kcal). Correlation test results showed that the correlation is positive and significant correlation between knowledge with nutritional adequacy with thitung 6,961 students at the significance level of 0.000. Contributions knowledge of nutrition on the nutritional adequacy of students amounted to 24.1%Keyword: Nutrition Knowledge, Nutritional Adequacy

Abstract

This research was motivated by complaints that are made by the guest to the front office employee regarding low responsive and low empathie by the guests, the absence of confirmation and clarification of issues that the guest had given to the employee. The research uses consisted of four indicators witch are hear them out, emphatize, apologize, and taking action and follow up. The research use descriptive study with qualitative data, and collected using Method interviews, observation, and documentation, for the sample use snowball sampling. These results indicate that the handling of guest complaints by front office employees at Grand Rocky Hotel Bukittinggi using the HEAT are as follows: 1)the front office employees had conducted hear them out by listening carefully, respect and respond actively and understand guests,2)the front office employee had conducted emphatize to guests 3)the front office employee had conducted apologize and humble to guest 4)the front office employee had conducted taking action by clarified, give a solutions, approval and take action and follow-up. Key Word : Hear them out, emphatize, apologize, taking action and follow up.

Abstract

In General purpose, this research is to make an inventory of potential Nagari Barulak to be a tourist village. This study was a descriptive study with qualitative approach. The sampling technique is done by purposive sampling, data were collected by observation, interview, and documentation involving informants and respondents. According to the research, the authors found some potential, Barulak has (1) Cultural Attractions, they are Masjid Taqwa Barulak, Randai Sawahliek, Silek Kampuang Datuak Malano, Pulang Padi Limo Boleh, Batagak Panghulu, Yasinan Nagari, Khatam Alqurán, Pawai Pusuang, Pangek Lapuak, Saka Anau, Tujin Jaguang, Sambalado Baluik, Randang Talua dan Kawa Daun, (2) Nature Attraction : Siboji, Puncak Kubu, Puncak Batu, Batu Baroda, Batu Kursi, Kebun Kol, Ghimau Aka (Macan Tutul), Kambing Super Boncah (3) Sepcial interest tourism: Manyuluah, Malukah, Tambakau, Baburu Kondiak. Nagari Barulak adequate public transportation such as public transportation and buses, besides Nagari Barulak have a tourist village infrastructure, such as irrigation systems, communication networks, health facilities, terminals, power supply, sewerage, roads to the security system. Barulak also has a complete tourist facilities such as Tower House, Rumah Gadang and Villa boncah highway as accommodation, 3 restaurants, traditional markets, and Barulak has public facilities such as mosque and toilet. And the important thing, Barulak communities themselves also have the courtesy, respect and hospitality to tourists.Keywords: Inventory, Potential, Tourism Village

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to (1) analyze the relationship industry field experiencewith the job readiness of graduates, (2) analyze the relationship between workmotivation and job readiness of graduates, (3) analyze the relationship betweenindustry field experience and motivation to work with the job readiness of graduates.This research is a quantitative research using correlation approach. The datacollection technique using a questionnaire prepared by the "Likert Scale". Analysis ofthe data used is descriptive and correlational analysis. The results showed (1) Field Experience Industry has a positive and significant relationship with the ReadinessWork Graduate Studies Program of Family Welfare as indicated by the calculatedvalue coefficient of correlation of 0.562, (2) Work motivation has a positive andsignificant relationship with the Readiness Work Graduate Education ProgramFamily welfare as indicated by the calculated value correlation coefficient of 0.482(3) Field experience and Motivation Industry Working together has a positive andsignificant relationship with the Work Readiness Program Graduate EducationStudies of Family welfare as indicated by the double correlation coefficientscalculated value obtained 0.617.Keywords : Field Experience Industry, Work Motivation, Job Readiness

Abstract

The oldest and famous embroidery business in Bukittinggi is Sulaman Ambun Suri. This study aimed to describe embroidery motifs, forms and techniques of making embroidery kerancang in Ambun Suri. The method used is a qualitative descriptive. The type of data in the form of primary data and secondary data. Informant are the leaders and craftsmen in Ambun Suri. The technique of collecting data through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Extension of the validity of the data with observations, increased observation and triangulation. The study states that the embroidery motifs in Ambun Suri are very diverse which are inspired by nature. Embroidery has a decorative motif with naturalistic shapes, geometric shapes, and decorative shapes made up of the main motif, complementary motifs, and patterns filler. There are 23 shapes of kerancang used. The making of the embroidery is done by using a manual sewing machine by sewing it directly using embroidery thread branded „double penguin‟. The stage of making embroidered kerancang is starting from tracing the motif, mengkuku thatch or mensuji motif, cutting, embroidering and the last thing is finishing process by smoothing embroidery.Keywords: Bordir Kerancang, Motif Bordir, Bentuk Kerancang, Teknik Pembuatan Bordir1Prodi Pendidikan

Abstract

This article aims to reveal the relationship between motivation to learn the Discipline Learning course on hairdressing student of Jurusan Tata Rias dan Kecantikan Fakultas Pariwisata dan Perhotelan UNP.This research is a quantitative descriptive correlational. The population in this study were all students of batch 2013 Department of Jurusan Pendidikan Tata Rias dan Kecantikan, the sampling technique is total sampling. Data collection techniques is using a questionnaire (questionnaire) by using Likert scale. Mechanical analysis of the level of achievement of respondents with a percentage formula, test requirements analysis using normality test and linearity test, while using the Pearson correlation coefficient analysis Product Moment Correlation and continued with the t test for significance analysis of the correlation coefficient and hypothesis testing.Based on the analysis of data obtained an average score of 58.67% percentage of learning motivation with low category, Discipline Learning is the percentage of 54.75% with a low category. The results of the analysis of correlation of 0.615 with the interpretation of a strong correlation, while the test based on the mean of the correlation obtained by the price t count> t table (3,613> 2.011) which means that Ha which reads "There is a relationship that is positive and correlation between Motivation to Discipline Learning Course Pruning of Jurusan Pendidikan Tata Rias dan Kecantikan FPP UNP ".Keywords: Relationships, Motivation, Discipline Learning, Trimming Hair.
