Betabur shirt is a traditional wedding dress used during wedding ceremony in Mukomuko Regency of Bengkulu Province. Characteristic of this traditional wedding dress on the head decoration using a headlight on the groom, singal on the bride and use the birds kilek. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. Data were collected using observation, interview and documentation techniques. Types of data in the form of writing and non-writing (recording) obtained through interviews, documentation and literature study. Data are reviewed and analyzed by data reduction steps, data presentation and conclusions. The validity of the data by extending the observation, increasing perseverance, triangulation, peer and auditing. The results showed that the design of traditional women's wedding dress Mukomuko consists of the clothes betabur,4songket cloth, accessories and accessories. The groom is comprised of baju betabur, pants, songket cloth, accessories and accessories. How to wear traditional women's wedding dress starting from the bun, head ornament (singal), songket cloth, shirt, pedalan, shoulder shavings, necklaces, bird kiln, earrings, bracelets and sandals. The groom begins with pants, songket cloth, baju betabur, peding, necklaces, and sandals. The traditional bridal attire of men and women has meaning, symbol or advice on the symbols used.Keywords: design (model, material, color and decoration), complementary clothing, manner of usage and meaning.

The purpose of this study to describe the dark-light color (value), the flatness of the color, the intensity of the color (chroma) and describe the dark-light color (value), the flatness of color, and color intensity (chroma) to the effects of differences in long immersion. Data obtained in the form of primary data sourced from 15 panelists, then the collected data is processed and analyzed analysis of varianceone. Results dyeing time of 15 minutes to produce a color Pale Violet Red #D26990. Immersion with 30 minutes to produce a color Mulberry Violet #C55F88. Immersion with 45 minutes to produce a color Mulberry Violet #D75880. For light and dark colors (value) is Fcount â‰¤ Ftable = 2.344 â‰¤ 3.22 Then Ho is accepted, meaning that there is no significant effect due to differences in long dyeing. Flatness color is Fcount > Ftable = 12 011 > 3.22 So Ha accepted, meaning that there is significant influence due to differences in long dyeing.The intensity of the color (chroma) is Fcount â‰¤ Ftable = 2.662 â‰¤ 3.22 Then Ho is accepted, meaning that there is no significant effect due to differences in long dying.Keywords: Effect time dyeing, croton leaf extract

The purpose of the research as an effort to solve the college students problem in Gambar Anatomi lectures at drawing the proportions of the body, because students have difficulty in drawing body proportions. This research is a research and development known as Research and Development (R & D) which aims to produce a learning media valid and practical.The research procedures include define, design and develop stages. The data was from validity test, small group and big group of college students practicallity test, and advisor of Gambar Anatomi leature subject. The validity test given to 4 validator, practicallity test given to 10 college students, big group practicallity test given to 40 college students and given to 1 advisor of Textile Analysis lectures subject. Based validity test the researcher got score 4,54 which categorized as valid. The result of practicallity test from small group was got score 84,19% which categorized as very practical, big group test was got score 82,75% which categorized as very practical and test from advisor of lectures subject was got score 90,00% which categorized as very practical. Computer applications courses mandatory for students dressmaking Family Welfare Department, but there is no module as media student learning, so that students are less active and creative in the PBM. This study aims to generate media forms of learning modules that can help students dressmaking Department of Family Welfare in learning computer applications to design decorative materials using CorelDRAWX4 program. Research also gain an overview of the feasibility of the learning module as a learning medium of computer applications, including the validation module and the practicalities of the module.This study is a Research and Development (R & D) is a research method used to produce a particular product and test the feasibility of the product. In this case a learning module. This learning module is tested its validity by 4 people validator experts in media and materials and tests performed on the practicalities of S1 students dressmaking class of 2014 the number of 18 people. The steps undertaken in the development of this learning module are: 1) define phase. 2) design phase, 3) stages develop. At this stage of the development of data analysis, namely: 1) the validity of the data analysis module, 2) data analysis module practicalities. Data analysis techniques used by calculating the mean.Based on the research results, test the validity of the obtained scores of 4.31 validator can be categorized as very valid. While the practicalities of the test results performed to a small group of students obtained a score of 3.21 categorized as very practical while testing the practicalities of a large group obtained a score of 3.54 categorized as very practical. These modules are in decent Criteria used as a medium of learning courses computer applications student dressmaking Family Welfare Department, Faculty of Engineering University of Padang on designing decorative materials using CorelDRAW X4 program.Kata kunci: Pengembangan Modul , aplikasi komputer, mendesain ragam hias menggunakan progrgram CorelDRAW X4

The aim this study is to describe of studentsâ€™ perceptions about the quality of the sewing machines in terms of their damage and maintenance for worskshop in fashion boutiques laboratorium of SMKN 8 Padang. The typr of this research is quantitative descriptive, with 25% population from each local of dressmaking class at SMKN 8 Padang. Amount of sample total are 30 students. Taking sample used random sampling technique, mixed sample. The data processing was done by specifying and categorizing the percentage of observed items. The results of this study indicated that studentsâ€™ prceptions about the quality of sewing machines reviewed from their damage is in the low category (59%) and the maintenance is in th good enough category (77,16%). For that reason, need to inprove the quality of sewing machines and their maintenance in order quality of them can support pactice learning at the clothing boutique of dressmaking programs at SMKN 8 Padang.Kata Kunci: Persepsi Siswa Tentang Kualitas Mesin Jahit

The aim of research is to describe the weakness basic pattern of Danckaerts system on a short fat woman, how to fix the weaknesses of Danckaerts basic pattern system on a short fat woman and the adjustment one short fat woman. Then the kind of research is applied research. The object research is a basic pattern of Danckaerts system which it tailored to the short fat woman. The rated by 5 panelists the result who is experts in the field of pattern. The instrument used a questionnaire with Likert scale. Techique of analysis use descriptive statistics in the form of the calculation formula porsentase and SPSS. The results showed that the basic pattern adjustment Danckaerts system on a short fat woman is classified into categories is in accordance with the achievement scores by 95% of respondents.Key words : Adjustment, basic pattern of Danckaerts system

This research aims to produce a product media Modul Computer Embroidery withWILCOM ES 2006 Program of Embroidery lesson at IKK FPP UNP. In addition, thisresearch also aims to know advisability of validity, practicality and effectiveness media.The subject research is students of Bachelor Fashion design 2015 are taking Embroiderylesson on January-June 2017. The method which use 4D (four-D) model consist of Define,Design, Develop and Desseminate. But in this research desseminate has not use becauselimitations of researcher. Technique of accumulation data uses the questionnaire,observation and test. Analysis method used presentation data. This result is advisability ofmedia modul with 92,36% rating of validity test that included in very advisability category,87,97% rating of practicality test that included in very practical category, and the modulâ€™seffectiveness indicates a decrease in percentage of students who score under KKM from76,2 % to 4,8% and learning outcomes of students who score on KKM is increase from23,8% to 95,2% that include in very high category. This conclusion of media ModulComputer Embroidery with WILCOM ES 2006 Program of is very advisability to use inEmbroidery lesson.Kata kunci : Learning Media, Embroidery, Embroidery Computer, WILCOM ES 2006

Typical Batik Tebo yet well know neven Tebos ociety, because theproblem sare fearedlostits cultural value. The lack of activity and the results of learning in students of SMK N 4 Padang in sewing technique learning applications caused by learning which is still centered on the teacher (Teacher Center) and the model of learning that has not varied. To increase business activity was conducted and the results of student learning on subjects of sewing Techniques application by using the learning model of Explicit Learning Instruction Cooperatif. The research is the research of class action is done in two cycles. Each cycle three times. Each cycle consists of four steps, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection which is used as the basis to conduct the repairs on the next cycle. The instruments used are observation sheets, tests the results of the study, and a note field. The collection of data through observation sheet is aided by an observer. The data obtained were analyzed in two ways namely qualitative data were analyzed with narration and provided arguments and quantitative data. Success criteria actions for the learning activities of students is 80%. The results of the research achievement of the learning activities of students reached 86%. Success criteria actions for student learning outcomes are 80% reached 75. The research results of student learning is 86%. The student has already obtained a value of 75. Thus it can be concluded that the use of model learning Cooperatif Learning Expicit Instruction can increase student learning outcomes and activities on subjects of sewing Techniques application of student SMK N 4 field.Keywords: Learning Activities, Learning Outcomes, Learning Cooperatif Learning Of Explicit Instruction
