Abstract

Textbooks as one of the learning tools play an important role to improve the quality of learning that is carried out by a teacher. Textbooks can affect the reader either teachers or students in all aspects, i.e thinking, attitudes and behavior. Writers on this occasion would explain the quality of textbooks on the subjects of faith and morality particulary at primary school in Grade 4, 5 and 6. Analyzed book begins from standards of competence and basic competence, purpose, material in the book as well as an image or chart in that book. Next, the analysis is done by comparing the standards of competence and basic competence with the material displayed in the book which consists of images, making the proposition, multicultural and gender mainstering.Keyword; textbook learning, moral and faith learning

Abstract

National exam or Final examination as an instrument to determine the student’s achievement by the end of this year still become an interesting discussion to be discussed. This theme is great interesting because it has big implications on many components including on the students. This paper will discuss the implications of national exam to personality development of students. It will begin with the basic policy implemented UN and be continued with the implications of the implementation of related social problems of personality development students. The writer also reveals about the advantages and disadvantages of many educational components as a result of the implementation of the UN. Keyword; National Exam, Student’s personality development.

Abstract

Professional needs of teachers in the Elementary School is a very huge necessity, moreover government assigned National Standards of Education and teacher certification. However, the various efforts made by the government has been not significant results yet although the government's efforts can’t be considered pity. The one reason is because it still seems unclear concept of professional teachers in Elementary School. From the results of this literature study, it was found that the required professional teachers especially in Elementary School must have a capacity of four, namely intellectual and research, spiritual, moral and ethic capacity, and last is emotional capacity. Keywords: quality of education, certification, capacity, professional teachers.

Abstract

Management is the all process for carrying out a job through someone else done by two or more people to achieve a state goal which has been determined.  In other word, management is a means of managing the organization. Improving the quality of education need to continuous quality improvement which is a formula or approach should be one of the paradigms of school based management. Improvement of quality approach countinuely is expected to overcome the problem of education quality’s which is not only uses conventional approaches, but in need of an approach in order to optimize resources and fund. It is intended to achieve state objectives effectively, efficiently, creatively and innovatively. The directions approach to improving the quality of the school led to recognize and implement the total quality management. It is an integrated quality management undertaken by all levels of management and the institutional part of the system with the goal of providing outstanding service to customer. Then every school must optimize the management to improve the quality and economic value. Abstract

The development of science and technology today is very fast, it can not be dammed again, and in fact all elements of society feel the impact of these developments. With the advancement of science and technology now Indonesian society in general forced to literacy Saintek to sustain life in the present and future. The results of a survey conducted in the UK showed that about 30 % of workers use science in some aspects of his work . This situation is expected to continue to increase from year to year . The results of a similar survey also showed that competence is most often used by workers is the competence to solve problems, work in teams, and communicate . The second survey showed a similar thing, which both point to the same three competencies : problem solving, working in teams, and communicate . It's all included components Soft Skill. The method used is the method of development up to implementation. demonstrated that the results of observation in science learning that has been implemented in MIN 1 Wonosari got an average score of 115 with a good category " B ". And the formation of character is evident in perubahanya include : increased student atusias, curiosity has been growing, encouraged to work together in groups and are encouraged to problem solving. Keyword: Soft skill, science instruction, living education

Abstract

Discuss the issue of science and religion, we would come to the discussion of the interaction of science and religion at the same time meaningful symbolic level. In geneologis we can see the complexity of the interaction of religion and science in the debate between faith dimension textually understood and understand the marginalizing science because of religious doctrine often considered incompatible with the common sense arguments. Though science and religion born from the same womb that is the "experience" of humanity. Up to now, there are still strong presumption in the wider community who say that "religion" and "science" are two entities that can not be met. Both have their respective areas, separated from each other, both in terms of formal object-material, research methods, criteria of truth, the role played by scientists. Key words : Integration, interaction of science and religion

Abstract

The new order era efford’s to improve the quality of human resources is done through the development of alignment between islamic schools (madrasah) and schools. The reign of new order era beginning with the collapse of the old order to do some serious efforts to improve the alignment. This paper will explaint the development of Islamic education in the new order era in the socio-historical context. Writing begins with the reign of the early efforts of the new order era in making policies to align islamic schools and schools. It was developed with the implementation of the policy of the new order era to improve the quality and quantity of viable islamic shools that align with the school on a variety of dimensions. The lates, be concluded with the results of development policies on the quality and quantity of the various dimensions of the islamic school, either in the curriculum or civil effect causes. Keyword; Islamic education, sosio –history contect
