Aims and scope: Aims Jurnal Pendidikan Teknologi Kejuruan aims to present high-quality and relevant scientific articles in the form of original research results in the field of Technical and Vocational Education and Training. The scope of TVET research includes, but is not limited to, the following areas: Curriculum Development: Research focuses on designing and updating curricula that align with industry needs, technological advancements, and job market demands. Teaching and Learning Methods: Studies explore effective pedagogical approaches, instructional techniques, and innovative technologies that enhance the teaching and learning experience in vocational settings. Abstract

Preliminary study of the solid waste treatment of Padang Beach tourist area has done in order to analyze solid waste generation, composition, the potency of recycling, and to recommend the appropriate treatment system applies on the tourist area. The study revealed that daily waste generated as 18.648 L, the components of the waste dominated by food waste 84.215%, plastic 9.254%, paper 2.087%, and non-metal ferrous 1.945%. The potency of recycling of the waste was food waste 91.732%, plastic 88.074%, metals 78.947% and glass 75.758%. By this study it is recommended that waste that has economic value such as plastic, paper, and metal should be collected and sold to the third party, biodegradable waste such as food waste and yard waste should be composted, while others waste that has potency to produce handy craft such as seashell, coconut shell, and sachet packaging should be collected and processed, all treatment activities can be done at the recycling center that located in the tourist area.

Abstract

Currently, the management of employee attendance in the City Government is still done manually, where the leadership does not have any media that can be used to monitor attendance, causing problems including recapitulation and slow employee attendance reporting. The calculation of the percentage (%) of the employee performance allowance (Tukin) is not carried out proportionally according to the attendance discipline. The impact of the current system is undisciplined employee attendance. Attendance management system which aims to manage employee attendance data. Attendance data obtained every morning and evening is stored on a server at the Pekanbaru City Information and Communication Office. This data is then processed to determine the whereabouts of an employee and become a reference for determining the percentage (%) of the performance allowance that will be received. In addition, this attendance management can be used by Regional Leaders and Heads of Services / Institutions to monitor employee attendance quickly and quickly. The research method used for data collection is to use interviews and literature. While the method in software development uses the method of The Rapid Application Development (RAD). Attendance Management is built on the basis of the Laravel framework using the MVC (Model View Controller) method. The MVC programming pattern that separates logic and views makes program code cleaner, easier to trace when troubleshooting or debugging. The Blade feature of laravel makes using html / php templates simple. This application provides online information about employee attendance. Regional Leaders, Heads of Services / Institutions can monitor the condition of employee absenteeism in Pekanbaru City Government online every day. Employee attendance reports for each Department / OPD are generated automatically. The Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency can use it as a monthly attendance summary report.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce a valid e-modules based on discovery learning, and effective in basic food subjects. This e-modules based on discovery learning is designed to improve student’s understanding so that it can improve students learning outcomes. The method in this study uses Research and Development (R&D) with 4-D development procedures (Define, Design, Develop, Desseminate). The data of analysis technique uses descriptive analysis techniques to describe the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of e-modules based on discovery learning. The results obtained of this development research: The validity of e-modules based on discovery learning is declared valid on the media and material aspects. The practicality of e-modules based on discovery learning from teacher and student responses is stated to be very practical. The effectiveness of e-modules based on discovery learning is stated to be effective in improve to learn the outcomes. Based on the findings of this study it is concluded that the e-modules based on discovery learning is valid, practical, and effective to be used as a learning aid in basic food subjects.

Abstract

The problems in this study are 1) The lack of subject relevance at schools with its implementation in the industrial world, 2) DU / DI instructors only provide guidance on what needs to be done in the field, without giving direct guidance, 3) Inadequate career guidance received by students at school. Students only get a little information related to the expertise program they choose, 4) The advisor is only limited to monitor students in the Internship, without providing optimal reinforcement and direction to students. This study aims to: 1) Contributing as career guidance to student work readiness at SMKN 2 Padang, 2) Knowing the contribution of internship experience with student work readiness at SMKN 2 Padang, 3) Knowing the contribution of mentoring teacher to student work readiness at SMKN 2 Padang, 4) Knowing contribution of internship career guidance and advisors together with the student work readiness at SMKN 2 Padang. This type of research is quantitative using correlational research methods. This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 2 Padang. The population of this study were students of grade 12 at SMKN 2 Padang. The sampling technique was proportional random sampling, with a total sample of 83 students. The data analysis technique used is quantitative data analysis techniques. Based on the research results, it was found that the data were normal, linear and did not occur multicollinearity. The results of the research are: 1) There is a contribution of career guidance to student work readiness at SMK N 2 Padang, 2) There is a contribution of internship experience to student work readiness at SMKN 2 Padang, 3) There is a contribution of a advisor to student work readiness at SMK N 2 Padang , 4) Career Guidance Internship Experiences and advisors together provide a positive relationship to student work readiness at SMK N 2 PADANG by 78.0%.

Abstract

This article aims to explain about study was to develop a learning module on the subjects of Food and Beverage Service in students majoring in food services SMK Putra Anda Binjai. This study was Research and Development (R & D) by using ADDIE development model. The results of research and development has been done in this study indicates that the validation results by learning modules covering material expert’s feasibility content with value Aiken's V = 0.78 valid criteria, eligibility presentation of Aiken's V = 0.80 on valid criteria, aspects of language with Aiken's V = 0.8 on valid criteria, and validation of design experts with Aiken's V = 0.80 on valid criteria. Test practitioners learning modules to two teachers showed an average yield of 81.67 category of "very practical", while practitioners by 3 students showed an average yield of 79.32 category of Very Practical overall results of the validation by subject matter experts, expert media practitioners and the overall test states that learning modules rated valid and practical, so that used to test for effectiveness. The result of the effectiveness of the learning modules have an average pretest score is 50.83 while the average post-test values to 76.95 so that it can be concluded posttest value results more significant. Therefore, from the validity of the test results, the practicalities and effectiveness, then learning modules on subjects worthy Food and Beverage Service use as a source of student learning Vocational High School Programs Hospitality
