Abstract

The study is set against the background of the success of teenage dropouts in trepreneurial activities that are thought to be the result of excellent training. The study is aimed at knowing the training, entrepreneurial activities and revealing the training relationship to the out and go activities of young dropouts. The observation of the writer takes place in aisle 4 tourist attraction. The study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The population in this study is all in trainees in November 2020. This research sample was taken using a random sampling cluster. Data collection techniques using angkets and data analysis techniques using percentage formulas and spreman rho formulas. The result showed that the training performance was categorized as good, that entrepreneurial activities were categorized as good and there was a significant relationship between training and entrepreneurial activities by dropout teenagers. The suggestion from this reseach is that it is hoped that school dropouts will learn more about entrepreneurial activities to dedvelop their entrepreneurship and create new things about entrepreneurship. Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of the uniqueness of character education learning from the understanding of the sumbang duo baleh's at PAUD Terpadu Inclusion Istiqamah Islamic School Surau Kamba, Ampek Angkek District, Agam Regency. This study aims to determine the methods, media and evaluation of the implementation of character education from the understanding of the sumbang duo baleh in PAUD Istiqamah. This type of research is qualitative with a case study method that uses data collection techniques by means of observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using triangulation techniques. The results of this study are (1) ways of habituation, strengthening and demonstration in the implementation of character education learning from the understanding of the sumbang duo baleh in PAUD Istiqamah, (2) the media used by the educators themselves as role models, pictures and videos, (3) evaluations carried out with authentic assessments and peers in the implementation of character education learning from the understanding of the sumbang duo baleh. The implementation of character education learning from this sumbang duo baleh's understanding is to be able to increase children's positive behavior from an early age.Keywords: Implementation, Learning, Character Education, Sumbang Duo Baleh

Abstract

Aims to describe planning, organizing, and supervising reading community. The concept of George Robert Terry (2007:31) "Management as a typical process, carried out to determine and achieve the goals that have been set by the use of human resources and other resources." Qualitative research approach. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects were one manager, one volunteer, and two residents student of reading community Pelosok Bumi, Karawang. Analysis of the research obtained there are four stages in the management begins with the identification of learning needs in the planning stage. Organizing is done by grouping the teaching staff into study groups. The implementation started on Saturday. The media, the strategies and methods used were returned to the volunteers. Supervision is carried out by going directly into the study group and immediately after the implementation there is a learning evaluation meeting. Suggestions Institutions can add volunteers so that the learning situation can be conducive.Keywords: Management, Reading Community

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low activeness of the training participants at the West Sumatra Agricultural Training and Extension Center, this is presumably because it has something to do with the low effectiveness of communication in learning. This study aims to: describe the effectiveness of communication in learning, describe the activeness of the training participants, and see the relationship between the effectiveness of communication in learning and the activeness of the training participants at the West Sumatra Agricultural Training and Extension Center. This type of research is quantitative research with correlational descriptive technique. The study population was all avocado training participants batch 1 and 2 at the West Sumatra Agricultural Training and Extension Center. The data collection technique is in the form of a questionnaire with a data collection tool in the form of a questionnaire. The data analysis technique uses the percentage formula and product moment. The results showed that the effectiveness of communication in learning was categorized as low, the activeness of the training participants was categorized as low, and there was a significant relationship between the effectiveness of communication in learning and the activeness of the training participants at the Training and Agricultural Extension Center of West Sumatra. It is hoped that institutions and instructors will pay attention to the effectiveness of communication in learning because this is related to the learning activities of training participants, and it is suggested to other researchers to be able to look for other variables that affect the learning activities of training participants.Keywords: Activeness, communication effectiveness, training

Abstract

This research is motivated by the high non-academic achievement of SMA Negeri 1 Padang students in the field of music. This is supported by the complete facilities owned by the music extracurricular, good guidance from music extracurricular teachers, good guidance from seniors, and a strong desire from within the students themselves. The purpose of this study was to see a description of students' persistence in participating in extracurricular activities in music, to see a description of students' attitudes when facing difficulties in learning musical instruments, and to see students' enthusiasm in practicing during the music art extracurricular training process. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative. The population in this study were all students who were members of the extracurricular music arts at SMA Negeri 1 Padang, while the sample was taken partly from the total population. The data collection technique used a questionnaire distributed to the sample. The data is then processed using the percentage formula. The results showed that (1) students were always diligent in participating in extracurricular activities in music; (2) students have a good attitude in overcoming difficulties during extracurricular activities in music; (3) students are always enthusiastic to carry out music art extracurricular exercises. Based on the results of the study, it is recommended that students continue to increase their motivation so that they can maintain and improve their non-academic achievements. Meanwhile, for the builder teacher to continue to direct and guide the students of extracurricular members of the art of music in practicing so that students' self-motivation is not lost, thereby reducing students' interest in practicing music.Keywords: motivation, perseverance, attitude, and spirit.

Abstract

The number of early childhood children in Kampung Akad, Pesisir Selatan Regency who experience delays in cognitive development is the background of this research. The cause of the slow cognitive development of children is thought to be due to the lack of stimulation provided by the family. This study aims to see an overview of stimulation in the family, a description of children's cognitive development, and the relationship between stimulation in the family and the cognitive development of children aged 5-6 years.his type of research is quantitative with a correlational approach. The population in this study were mothers who had children aged 5-6 years, while for the sampling using simple random sampling. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire, while for data analysis using the percentage formula and Spearmen Rho. The results showed that a) stimulation in the family was still low; b) children's cognitive development is still very low; and c) there is a significant relationship between stimulation in the family and the cognitive development of children aged 5-6 years.Keywords: Stimulation, cognitive development, family

Abstract

In 2017 Handriva Fauzi founded the GADABAK! in South Solok Regency, West Sumatra Province as a tool to fulfill organizational needs for young people who have an interest in education, arts and culture, tourism and the environment. The research approach used is qualitative with a phenomenological design. The results of this study indicate that the life experience of institutional managers is a manifestation of the impetus that influences the emergence of decisions to take voluntary action as the basis for managing the institution.Keywords: voluntarism, non-formal education, development, community

Abstract

The background of this research is the low discipline of students during online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic at SMA Pertiwi 1 Padang. Allegedly caused by the lack of parental guidance for children when studying from home, this study aims to: 1) describe parental guidance; 2) describe student learning discipline; 3) see the relationship between parental guidance and student learning discipline during the covid 19 pandemic.This research is a quantitative correlational study. The population in this study were all students of SMA Pertiwi 1 Padang in class X and class XI, which amounted to 521 students and 78 students were used as research samples using stratified random sampling technique. The data collection technique used a questionnaire, the data obtained were analyzed using descriptive analysis and the product moment correlation formula.The results of this study indicate: 1) parental guidance is categorized as low dominant 2) student discipline is categorized as low; 3) there is a significant relationship between parental guidance and student learning discipline during the covid 19 pandemic at Pertiwi 1 Padang High School. The research suggestions are: 1) it is hoped that formal school educators will pay more attention to student learning activities while online 2) it is expected that parents can guide their children in studying at home so that children can obtain maximum learning outcomes; and 3) it is hoped that further researchers will find or examine other variables that affect learning discipline, especially when studying from home.Keywords: Parental Guidance, Tutoring

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low motivation to learn sociology of learning citizens when attending equivalence education package C at SPNF SKB Region II Padang City. One of the causes is the use of powerpoint media which is rarely used by tutors when doing learning. Therefore, a study was conducted to see the relationship between the use of PowerPoint and the learning motivation of the residents studying there. The purpose of this study is to describe the use of powerpoint media in SPNF SKB Region II Padang City, to describe the motivation to learn sociology of learning citizens on equivalence education package C in SPNF SKB Region II Padang City, and to see the relationship between powerpoint media use and motivation to learn sociology. at SPNF SKB Region II Padang City. The type of research used is quantitative with correlational methods. The population of 56 people and a sample of 23 people were taken from residents studying in equivalence education package C at SPNF SKB Region II Padang City. The research data obtained were processed using percentage and product moment analysis techniques. The results of the study show that: 1) the description of the use of powerpoint media in equivalence education in package C is still relatively low; 2) the description of the learning motivation of learning citizens in the equivalence education package is still relatively low; and 3) there is a significant relationship between the use of powerpoint media and the learning motivation of citizens to learn equivalence education package C in SPNF SKB Region II Padang City.Keywords: Learning Media, powerpoint, learning motivation

Abstract

Non-formal education is intended for people who specifically need education as a complement, addition to, and substitute for formal education. Non-formal education can be used as a support, a complement, an addition to the education obtained by a person in formal education, where non-formal education is held for people who need this education. Non-formal education includes equality education, training and work skills, functional literacy, women's empowerment, youth, PAUD, life skills, and others.Community Reading Park (TBM) is one of the institutions in the field of non-formal education. Community reading parks can be interpreted as non-formal educational institutions that focus on providing knowledge services in the form of print media (books) or electronic media (internet). On the other hand, the community reading park also functions as a supporter of non-formal education activities, one of which is literacy education.Fashion design is a non-formal education program that focuses on the science of designing and sewing clothes. This program is implemented in various non-formal educational institutions, one of which is the Community Reading Center (TBM). There is an important component in the fashion design program, namely facilities for learning. Learning facilities are said to be an important component because they are able to encourage a person's interest in participating in a learning program. Interest in learning is an element in supporting the success of the learning program. Without high interest from program participants, it will create failure in a program. Facilities have a relationship with interest in learning in achieving a successful program. Keywords: TBM and non-formal education
