Abstract

method of NHT (numbered heads together) on the creativity of learners of class VIII B SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Metro year 2016/2017 year. The design of this research is One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. In the data collection in this study using questionnaires. Data analysis used is t test. Judging from the difference of change of result of average result of pre-test post-test of creativity learn equal to 9,9. Testing the hypothesis obtained t calculation = 9,446 > ttabel = 2.045 of significant 0.05 and degrees of freedom (db = N -1 = 30 -1 = 29). The conclusion of this research is information service using NHT method (numbered heads together) influence to creativity learners SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Metro TP. 2016/2017.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe the social values in Sordam novel by Suhunan Situmorang. The researcher cited the data in the form of sentences, paragraphs and dialogues that contained in the novel which has some social values such as positive social and negative social values.  The method that used in this research was descriptive qualitative method with content analysis technique, that is by analyzed the letters, words, sentences and verse that can explain some social values in this novel. Since the data that analyzed was in the form of sentences and qualitative, the authors used qualitative data analysis, based on the content and structure of the existing sense. Therefore, in analyzing the data and drawing the final conclusion, the authors used formulas statistical and hypothesis testing. Based on the research finding and discussion, it concluded that there were 72 quotations in Sordam novel by Suhunan Situmorang that containts of two social values, the first is positive social values and the second negative social values. The researcher suggested the reader and students to further study in various theories related to social values in a novel in order to broaden the knowledge of the readers and not just read the novel as an alternative entertainment.

Abstract

The objective of the research was direct effect of leadership style, work motivation and individual capacity to principal productivity of  high school in Jakarta. Data for this study was collected through by survey, involving a randomly selected samples of 60 principals by using questionaire. Path analysis technique used to analyse the data. The result of the research are follow: 1) the style leadership positive direct effect on principals productivity, 2) the work motivation positive direct effect on principals productivity, 2) the individual capacity positive direct effect on principals productivity, 3) the style leadership positive direct effect on individual capacity, 4) the work motivation positive direct effect on individual capacity, and 6) the style leadership not positive direct effect on individual capacity. The result suggest that style leadership, work motivation, and individual capacity are important determinants to principals productivity.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze: (1) the influence of academic supervision on work teacher’s ethos, (2) the influence of teacher’s discipline toward work teacher’s ethos, and (3) the influence of academic supervision and teacher’s discipline simultaneously toward teacher’s discipline. The population of this study is a public vocational high school teacher in East Lampung  totaling 251 with the sample used as much as 71 respondents taken using Slovin formula. The results of the  study as follows: (1) There is a positive and significant influence of academic supervision on the working teacher ethos. This can be explained by the regression equation Ŷ.= 44,449 +.0,567X1. It is known that the influence of academic supervision the working teacher  ethos is 26,6%, (2) There is positive and significant influence of discipline on teacher  working teacher  ethos. This can be explained by the regression equation Ŷ = 54,466 +.0,465X2. It is known that the influence of teacher  discipline of all working  teacher  ethos is 16,6%, and (3) There is positive and significant influence of academic supervision and teacher’s discipline collectively working teacher  ethos of School teacher. This can be explained by the regression equation Ŷ = 26,443 + 0,468 X1 + 0,297X2. It is known that the influence of academic supervision and teacher disicipline competence simultaneously working teacher  ethos is 32,5%. Based on the results of this study indicate that a better  academic supervision and teacher discipline contribution to the  working teacher  ethos.

Abstract

The success of the teacher's  relatioship by the factors: the discipline of work, remuneration. School management should understand that both these aspects become contributors to the success of a teacher in managing learning. This study aimed to analyze: (1) the relationship between the discipline of work by the success of the task of teachers, (2) the relationship between remuneration to the success of the task of the teacher, and (3) the relationship between the discipline of work and remuneration together with the success of the task of teachers. This study population of teachers SMK-District of Central Lampung regency Many white as many as 83 teachers are used as the study sample as many as 69 teachers using the formula slovin and for testing using correlation as a tool. From the results of the hypothesis can be seen that: The relationship of labor discipline variable to variable teacher assignment success. Significance of test results obtained scores probability (sig) of 0.000 with a regression coefficient of 6.2% is significant or regression model can be used to predict the success of the task of the teacher is a portrait of the meaningfulness of work discipline variable relationship to the variable success of the task of the teacher is very significant, the relationship between variable remuneration to the success of the task of teachers.

Abstract

The objective of research to set up curriculum development about multicultural education at school beach area through identification and need assessment analysis. So can be formula competence of multicultural education, instructional analysis subordinate to easy in learning, and the result of identification attitude the student as generally characteristic can be used as approach strategy in learning appropriate multicultural characteristic of the student. Used of the method in this research Model of Development Instructional System Curriculum 1975 as a parameter after process interaction in learning. In instructional considered (1) knowledge of the student, (2) needed material in learning, (3) what will to do in his activity, (4) methods and what material needed for innovation attitude of the student considered the goal of learning education. In this research used model development in learning Walter Dick & Loe Carey, and model approach system. After need analysis assessment treated, to description and classification of concept multicultural education: basic concept of ethnic, spiel effect of ethnic justness and religion, and an ideal of learning education. Based on analysis above there are conclusion (1) identification of need assessment multicultural education by identification competency from stakeholder education and curriculum regional as specify multicultural education; (2) the result identification competence multicultural education at high school grouped in system religion, organisation, knowledge, language, art, source of life, technology, and accessories. (3) The analysis characteristic multicultural education grouped competency multicultural education in the region of attitude, intellectual, cognitive strategy, and verbal information.

Abstract

This study the effectiveness of life skills counseling with bibliotherapy technique to increase clients’ quality of life in Rumah Damping BNNP Central Borneo. This study uses Pre Experimental Design approach with one group pre-test and posts test design. Clients of Rumah Damping BNNP Central Borneo can increase the quality of life after following life skills counseling with bibliotherapy technique. Group counseling service with bibliotherapy technique can increase the quality of life BNNP Central Borneo with the increasing clients’ life after following the services than before follows skills counseling services with bibliotherapy technique.

Abstract

The goals to be achieved by the researchers is to know the results of the implementation of group guidance services in order to increase the confidence of students X.7 SMA Negeri 1 North Sungkai. The research was an action research applied in the service of BK then called (PTL) consisting of two cycles, with each cycle consisting of two meetings. This study was conducted at X.7 class consist of 10 students. The collecting data  method used observation and field notes. Researchers define of success criteria 75% in accordance with Government Regulation (PP) No. 19 In 2005, the National Education Standards. This study used data analysis techniques of quantitative and qualitative. The conclusions of this research is through group guidance services can increase the confidence of students, its seen from the results of studies showing that (1) through the Group Guidance service is able to increase confidence of students amounted to 48.75% (the first cycle an average aspect self-confidence by 27.5% and an average second cycle aspects of confidence 76.25%). (2) Guidance services through group-confidence of students can be increased from the first cycle to the second cycle in which the student is considered complete if it has reached the number ≥ 8 students.

Abstract

In the environment of campus Muhammadiyah University of Metro, students care in maintaining the cleanliness of the campus can be said to be lacking. Many objects are thrown away at random, such as: candy wrappers, plastic snack foods, and various papers in the campus environment. This objectives of the research to obtain an empirical of the influence of scientific experience and environmental knowledge on environmental awareness.The research method used is ex post facto. The research was conducted in the Biology Education Department, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Muhammadiyah University of Metro. Implementation of research from March to July 2016. The population of this study is the students of Biology Education Departmen who take the course of Environmental Knowledge in the even semester of Academic Year 2015/2016 amounted to 124 people. Research sample is taken with proportional random sampling as much 68 people. Data analysis techniques using Two-Way Variance Analysis.Conclusion of the research are follow: 1. There is influence of scientific experience to environmental awareness, 2. There is influence of environmental knowledge to environmental awareness, and 3. There is no influence of scientific experience and environmental knowledge to environmental awareness.
